I have completed all the SheCodes workshops at last. Matt is an excellent teacher, and all of his videos are easy to understand. I truly enjoyed coding and cannot thank everyone who helped me through my blockages enough. I am excited about what the future holds.
I enjoyed working on this project, javascript was a bit of a challenge yet i nailed it till the end. The SheCodes team is helpful. I do recommend this workshop, Matt is the best💪🏽 teacher, and coach, the learning experience both insightful and enjoyable. GO FOR IT LADIES!!!
I cant believe how Shecodes changed my life in just 3 weeks. Shecodes made me a software engineer in the making. I was able to do lots of research when I am stuck on tasks and home work.I learnt and excelled during my 3 weeks training on html,css and javascript. I would recommend Shecodes to anyone especially with no coding experience like me. Matt is a good teacher.

This workshop increased my level of thinking as it relates to coding and it pushed me to do my best. There were challenges but I overcame them. I couldn't have done it without Matt and his team. Matt is an awesome teacher and the team on slack is just as good as they answered all my questions in a timely manner whenever I was unsure about something. SheCodes Basics has been an amazing learning experience and opportunity. It is quite hard to believe that after only a couple of weeks I have been able to code my first website from scratch! I believe the program is well structured and especially well explained: Matt is a great teacher, clear, concise and linear. Lastly, I particularly appreciated the Challenges at the end of each class: it is quite a game changer, as it helps a lot to keep yourself involved and on track.
This is such a good workshop for beginners and I would really recommend it to someone wanting to get into tech. I really enjoyed the SheCodes basic workshop and it was really such a fun experience. This has by far been the most challenging yet extremely motivating project yet. I have enjoyed scratching my head, trying to figure out where the lesson is going to go ahead of our teacher and really seeking external resources for guidance. I can see closer to my reality as a web developer day to day now. What a great learning experience.
I had so much fun and learnt a lot during the SheCodes Plus course! I have a new found confidence in Javascript especially as well as advanced HTML and CSS. Matt is an excellent teacher and will thoroughly talk through parts of the project that may be difficult to understand, providing useful resources to guide you throughout. I've always felt that coding is meant for the smart ones or at least those with strong computer background and that kept me far away from it. But upon joining SheCodes Foundation, Matt being the great teacher he is made me realize even I can code. I'm still on the basics but I can already see how much value this skill will aid in my career.

This course has been really really exciting and Matt is an excellent teacher! Those videos definitely taught me a lot and I am happy it is being done like this so I could go back in case I don't quite remember. This course gives you a lot of flexibility and for that, I am extremely happy. I have always wanted to start my own business and for my final project, I did a demo of my prospective business page and I was overwhelmed with emotions. Looking forward to learning more so I can improve it!
SheCodes Plus was more of a challenge for me but I figured it out and was able to create a weather app. The first time I started SheCodes Plus, it was very confusing and after redoing everything the second time it was fairly easy. I was able to learn API, GitHub, Bootstrap, and a little bit of hosting. Matt is a great teacher in explaining why we type a certain code and how it works! The instructors were always available to help with any questions I had. I'm excited to start the SheCodes Responsive!!

I think the Basics Workshop was a great very basic intro to what coding can do and the perfect way to test my interest level in the subject/material. I also really appreciated being able to do it on my own time (in between a full time job, a family, life, etc.) - I definitely couldn't have completed the course otherwise. All the teachers always got back to any questions super quickly and thoroughly. I would recommend this for anyone looking to dip their toes into coding. Even though I know I just learned the very surface level, it still was a lot and I'm now very interested in taking my coding education further. Thank you to all the teachers and fellow coders. It was an awesome experience!

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.
I have learned so much with SheCodes so far, and I am thrilled to continue my coding journey! Matt is a fantastic teacher, and the community that he and his team have built is incredibly supportive.

After the React workshop, the Adds-on is definitely a must. You become more aware of everything you still have to learn about react but it gives you a necessary extra boost of confidence. The more you practice the better, specially if there are people guiding you and supporting you. Matt is a great teacher with a great team. I highly recommend to follow the full SheCodes program with every Adds-on if you are taking becoming a front-end seriously. Not only does it teach you code, but it gives you learning tools and self-confidence. Happy coding:)

This workshop is a solid 10/10. Matt is a great teacher and on top of that, the extra resources from SheCodes like the colour palette and image uploader just makes the learning process even smoother. I also love that the deadlines helped me stay on track. i can't wait to start the next workshop.

As someone with no IT background, I thought to myself "what have I gotten myself into this time around?", the moment I saw all the codes that I couldn't read or understand, I really thought I wouldn't even finish the Intro course as I didn't even have the confident to continue with the first lesson, but to my surprise I fell in love with coding and wanting to code more and it was all because of my wonderful instructor Matt. He made coding seem very easy and enjoyable, which made me want to learn more about coding. I'm glad I decided to join SheCodes, it's amazing how quickly one can acquire new skills so fast only because of this wonderful workshop and great teacher, who made it easy and enjoyable to learn.

Shecodes is the best foundation ever. When I started this journey I did not know anything about coding but Shecodes assessments help you understand better and example that they have give you better understand. Matt is a great teacher he explains everything and although the classes are online but you will feel like he’s talking to face-to -face . Definitely I will continue coding with this foundation and hopefully land my first tech job one day.
