Great teaching and learning class. I've enjoyed to learn the new things. Matt was a great teacher that explaining everything step by step clearly. Overall, it's a very interesting coding class to understand the basics of web development.
A few months ago I took a leap of faith and joined SheCodes foundation. I had the opportunity of creating a web page from scratch, this has improved my skills in HTML, CSS, JS and VS Code. In a short period of time I am astonished by all the knowledge I have acquired in the workshop. I am looking forward to creating more advanced projects. SheCodes is one of the best useful platforms to learn coding as a beginner with Matt being a great teacher, he made me fall in love with coding as well as to pursue my career in Software Engineering as a full stack developer.
Thank you for this exciting 4-week workshop for women - SheCodes Responsive - where I could build my own responsive website-portfolio using new-gaind knowledge of creating multiple pages static sites, flex box, responsive grids, images, navigation and testing, live server and media queries. And at the end I did my site SEO friendly. It's cool! ✌ Matt is a very talented instructor and teacher! He can explain complicated topics in a very clear and simple way. And his perfectionism is a big plus! And it's very nice that the whole SheCodes team understands that women are always busy and gives them enough support, time and extensions to solve training challenges and create their projects.

I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took. I had a feeling I could understand all the concepts and I did, let’s not even talk about the lovely choice of colors that the SheCodes website has that is alluring and just makes you always want to visit at the thought of it. I started the coding workshop with no coding experience. At the beginning, it felt a bit overwhelming but having Matt as a teacher was really amazing. He always motivated us to try our best and simplified the coding languages for us. I love challenging myself and this was a good way of doing so while gaining a new skill set.

The workshop was informative and practical but also had an exceptional teacher (Matt) who effortlessly explained all the objectives in a way that was remarkably easy to understand. Matt begins by introducing the fundamental concepts of coding, breaking them down into simple, digestible explanations. What impressed me the most was the Matt's ability to take complex ideas and present them in a manner that anyone, regardless of their prior coding knowledge, could grasp. This training is the best coding training I have attended so far. After completing the SheCodes Basics it took some time for me to complete the SheCodes Plus course. At first I was skeptical with how much I'd learn because I'm just "following tutorials and doing exactly as I was told" but Matt is an excellent teacher! He explained everything in such a way that it's easy to follow. I noticed that I understood what I was doing after friends asked me for an explanation on my codes which surprised me a lot. Can't wait to see what the React course has in store for me :)
