A valuable workshop with yet more complexity and new challenges. I really enjoyed learning how to embed maps, videos and social media to a web page and making it responsive. I created a page with multiple sections and used grids to organise the content. It was satisfying to produce a professional standard site and use industry tools. Excellent instruction, guidance and team support when needed. I am building the confidence in fixing bugs when they occur.

Hands down one of my favourite workshops. The workshops have been arranged so that you can get to this point. If you were to start here without any background in coding you would feel like you were on a different plane. Everything that we were taught from the beginning with HTML, CSS, Javascript embedded code from Google Fonts and Font Awesome set us up to be able to understand how to use Bootstrap, Responsive as well as other platforms. I am so very proud of myself and all that I have accomplished so far. A huge thank you to Matt and the team. I am nearing the end of my SheCodes journey as a student and will soon hopefully start a chapter as a Junior Developer. I feel confident, hopeful and excited to enter it and it's all because of these fantastic workshops. I took this starter class as part of my professional development as a brand manager. I have dabbled very lightly in HTML and a little bit of CSS in the past but nothing too in-depth. I, like many other students, found the course structure very helpful! With as complex a topic as this, Matt does an excellent job of breaking down the different skills in very digestible chunks. The lesson videos are never more than 10 minutes or so, and he provides so many resources to find help, connect with other students, or learn the basic tools that are industry standards. The way he walked through each video was also very encouraging and I never felt dumb. I honestly found the course not too challenging (not to say I didn't get slightly held up at points) which I think is a testament to how well taught it is. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!

Learning with this Python module has been such an interesting challenge. After this process, I can now clearly see how to optimize day-to-day processes in my office, better organize files, and understand patterns. Completing the SheCodes Basic Add-on course was such a rewarding experience! The lessons were clear, engaging, and always fun to follow, while still offering the right level of challenge to keep me motivated. I especially enjoyed learning new tips that went beyond the Basic course โ small but important details that, as a Computer Software Engineering student, I had never seen taught anywhere else.
