Having to create not one but two different weather apps using two different languages has been so interesting. From having little to no knowledge about react to learning and creating a weather app is fascinating. With the coding knowledge that I have gained within the past few months, it's as if I can see behind the curtains of some apps now. I'm picturing what the HTML looks like and wondering how they got the font that is being used. In all honesty, coding seemed a bit intimidating, because the art of learning new things has never come easy for me, due to dyslexia. But the love of puzzles has pushed me through, whenever I broke my own codes. If it wasn't for the SheCodes slack team, I would have thrown my laptop outside the window by week #6. I appreciate that team for the times that I have gotten stuck and I must have worn out their patience.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop and I'm thrilled with the experience. By far, this workshop was my favorite one. I really enjoyed learning React and it made me realize how much faster coding can be using React because I have built two weather applications, one using only CSS, HTML, and JavaScript and the other one with React and although the latter seemed complicated at first but was much easier once you get the hang of it. The introduction to React was incredible, and the concluding project was both enjoyable and demanding. I want to give a special thanks to the SheCodes team for their exceptional assistance!
For me, it was difficult to transfer the Html code from the previous project to React. The explanation was in the lesson after the task itself. Maybe this is the point of finding a way on other resources, but it was very difficult, because those methods did not suit me. I did it myself by trial and error. Of course, a huge plus is that you can turn to the team for help. I was going to apply in this case until I found an error. I have contacted many times on other occasions and the team is very polite, so don't be afraid to contact! A huge plus is the appearance of artificial intelligence, which helps to find errors. True, while there is a limit of 2,000 characters, and the code can be much larger 😅. In any case, I want to review the lessons again and consolidate my knowledge. Thanks for the opportunity to learn! 🥰
I want to say it was not easy to understand but it was fun, interesting and excited. React is definitely going to be a useful tool and I've enjoyed rebuilding my weather app this way. I'm looking forward to using it more in future! Thanks Matt and the team for all your support.

"She codes" is a fantastic resource for learning to code, and I have found it to be incredibly user-friendly and easy to follow. One of the things I appreciate most about this program is that I can work at my own pace, on my own time, which has made it possible for me to fit learning into my busy schedule. What I have found particularly helpful is the supportive team of experts who are always available to answer my questions and provide guidance. Before SheCodes, I found coding extremely boring! But Matt and SheCodes team changed that forever. I did it again!! Learning a new skill can be difficult but rewarding. I was hard on myself during these past 8 weeks, trying to push myself to the point I was lacking food and sleep. I had to remind myself that it's okay to take a break, refresh and start again, especially when my code has errors. By clearing my head I was able to take another approach and found the solution. So, it's okay to take a break but giving up is not an option for me. Thanks to Matt and his team for providing so much support during this time.
