As my skills advance, so does my passion for coding. I enjoyed every second of building this mini project. Thank you, Matt, and Team for this terrific platform!

I had a great time working on this project, it was one of the hardest for me personally. I had to start over countless times, because I wanted a perfect project. I built a responsive World Clock using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Moment.js and Moment-Timezone libraries. I am grateful to the SheCodes team for being able to say all these technical terms and know exactly what they mean because the lessons were easy to understand and apply.

These 8 weeks were unlike any other, full of learning and actually enjoying the coding process. I especially had so much fun building the weather app. SheCodes will always be an unforgettable experience for me ,as it's the very first stop on my web development journey. A big thank you to the best instructor, @Matt Delac, and the entire SheCodes team for creating such a beautiful and empowering course!

This was a great introduction on data analysis and how to display charts in code form works. This may be helpful for those that need to present data in a more organized and visual display for team members and shareholders to better understand results.

The journey to learning how to code as a beginner is not easy as first, especially if you are not familiar with any coding languages but with the help from the SheCodes team and Matt Delac it becomes easier as time goes by. The SheCodes Basic Course was one of the most well-designed classes I have taken. I like how it was organized into tiny chunks and how you had the challenge at the end, plus a solution, once you submitted it. This is the third course I’ve taken with SheCodes, and I can honestly say I’ve learned so much. The content is clear and easy to follow, and Matt does a great job explaining things step by step, especially when it comes to connecting to an API and understanding the logic behind it. What I really value is that the course doesn’t just give you answers, it encourages you to stay curious and explore different ways of solving things. Like the SheCodes team says, they propose some solutions, but they’re not the only ones. You’re free to go beyond what’s taught, or take it at your own pace and both are totally valid. Before starting this course, I’ll admit I was a little intimidated by Python. It’s known as a powerhouse in the coding world, and I imagined it being much more complex than it turned out to be. But Matt and the SheCodes team did an amazing job breaking it down into manageable, clear lessons. By the end, I felt so much more confident. Turns out I had overhyped it in my head! After spending weeks on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, learning Python was a refreshing shift. Revisiting APIs during the course was also a great way to reinforce concepts from my earlier workshops. It’s incredibly rewarding to apply something new and have it click so quickly. Next up Python and AI!

React has been a challenging language to learn, but with Matt and the support team on Slack, I felt able to complete this course as well as I could. This has been a great course overall!

As usual, I am learning so much on my own time. Years ago, there was an unhealthy stereotype that girls could not code. I want to thank Matt and his entire team for destroying such stereotype.

When I started coding with Shecodes, I did not have an idea on how to code however I have learned a lot, now I know code using HTML &CSS a bit of JavaScript, I am taking baby steps. Thank you Matt & Shecodes team for your assistance.

Prior to joining SheCodes, I attempted to self-educate the fundamental concepts of coding. While I acquired the necessary terminology, I lacked practical experience. However, SheCodes provided me with comprehensive learning opportunities and enabled me to apply my knowledge effectively. This has been an enriching experience, encompassing both the exhilarating moments and the challenging phases. The team’s support through Slack proved invaluable, as everyone demonstrated a willingness to assist.

It was great to build on previous knowledge. The final project is challenging but went on to show how we are constantly building on what we know and pushing further. Definitely made me curious about what else I need to know. You never stop learning with coding. An enjoyable project in the end. Thank you team SheCodes - you make me feel capable of doing even more!

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn coding through SheCodes. Even though it took me longer than expected to finish my project due to personal commitments, the journey was still very rewarding. The lessons were clear, well-structured, and easy to follow, even for someone like me with no prior coding experience. What I appreciated most was the supportive and empowering environment. I never felt judged for going at my own pace, and I always knew I could come back and pick up where I left off. Completing the final project gave me a real sense of achievement, and I’ve gained practical coding skills that I’m proud of. This was fun! What puzzles me is just how Matt explains everything so clearly making it easy for one to follow and grasp each concept. There were challenges however, after completing each task you enter a new horizon of coding with even more exciting things to learn. SheCodes Basics Add-on has been so much fun! A huge thank you the SheCodes team for being there when I had questions🥰! With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things I’ve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.

This coding workshop came at a time when I was questioning everything especially whether I wanted to continue pursuing a career in psychology. The path forward felt almost impossible without a master’s degree, and I knew I needed to find something that lit a spark again. That’s when I chose to develop a new skill and explore the world of UX/UI design and this workshop was the perfect way to begin. I never imagined how deeply satisfying it would be to build something from scratch. I’m beyond impressed by what determination, perseverance and the right support can lead to. To the SheCodes team, thank you for giving me a second chance, not just at building a career, but at rediscovering the power I have to create a life without limits.
