I started without knowing about coding at all. It was an enjoyable yet challenging experience. Even though I still have to learn a lot of things. But I am glad to be able to know how code works. I hope I can land my dream job as a website developer soon. Thank you SheCodes team!
React workshop is the last one in a series of Shecodes workshops I took part in. It was more tough with challenging homework but finally I could make it with the guidance of my Shecodes tutor Matt via lessons. The skills from this workshop will be really invaluable! A really hectic week. Very challenging, very informative. I've learnt so much from Matt's classes, the program is very supportive. I also love how the team isn't spoonfeeding, and leaves room for you to consult other resources such as Google in order to find ways to deal with other challenges as well as be creative. Genuinely loved every step of the way.
I found this workshop very intuitive and very enjoyable; Matt and his team did a really lovely job breaking everything down into digestible pieces. I'm so excited and proud to apply coding knowledge to personal projects now. As a designer, its nice to be able to make a site look exactly as you want it to, without many restrictions.

Kudos to Matt and his team for developing a fun but informative way for women (especially busy working class females) to learn coding. This is a course that every female should pursue because not only are you armed with another skillset, but you will be in a network of smart females. My feedback on this course: I got value for my money, course was presented in a well written and sequential way. The course weekly assessments were of very high standard and the entire hands-on approach was what made this course suitable for females of every walks and background. I strongly recommend this coding course to every single females in every single country around the world!!!
SheCodes React was definitely the most challenging of the courses but totally worth it! At first, React seemed hard and complex but as always Matt and the rest of the team were there to explain and break things down as well as correct mistakes. After doing the She Codes Basics course I got a taste of coding and I loved the challenge so I jumped in and decided to continue my coding journey. At times challenging, but so rewarding when you can see your hard work coming together. Great lessons, that you can follow along with, and a cool and knowledgeable support team and community on Slack if you ever get stuck. So amazing! Would recommend to everyone with aspirations to learn to code.

I started coding with Mr. Matt. I totally started from scratch and I am delighted to see my metamorphosis in me after 6+ months of coding. Never have I ever imagined that I could continue my coding journey especially after my post-partum. The videos are short and covers everything to become a Frond-end Developer. I am also over the moon because I did something which I have always wanted to do. I had a flair for technology. I know its just a drop in the ocean but still its from the ocean. As someone who is completely new to coding, this workshop was challenging. However, the SheCodes team is very responsive in a timely manner, and willing to assist. I also like that they offer an easy way to request extensions for the workshop.
The course is very detailed and precise, every lesson is easy to understand and repeat. There are many practical exercises and from the first week you can already build your simple page, this is exciting! Also, the Slack chat with the participants and the team is very helpful.

It was not an easy course. I felt stuck and couldn't move forward a couple of times, but the Shecodes team and community came to the rescue and helped me through the challenge. Being able to create a Weather App at the end of the course gives me confidence and inspires me for new projects. I am very grateful to Matt and the team for this valuable experience!

It is truly one of the best schools and methodologies for teaching programming, which is suitable for self-organized people. You must be responsible, be able to properly organize your training, have strong motivation and purpose. In this case, you are guaranteed success. Because Matt explains everything very clearly in his lessons, there is a very convenient Slack where you can find answers to your questions about challenges or homework. If something does not work out, you can always contact the support team and they will always answer your question, even if it is not very smart;). Definitely thank you🙏 and highly recommend!

SheCodes has helped me so much, i was really struggling with anxiety and depression when i first started this course. But i have found that doing this course has really helped me focus on something other than how i was feeling and being a part of a lovely team of women from all over the world who are learning at the same time as me has been brilliant! And knowing that anytime i needed any help, there was always someone there, no matter how easy or difficult the question was i was never made to feel stupid for not knowing the answer! i would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone! And i feel so proud of myself for finishing and passing this course!
As a person working in health care, the world of programming has always seemed very mysterious and intimidating to me, but this course has really made it interesting and enjoyable. The tools and resources SheCodes provides are super helpful and the lessons are clear and thorough. Also, the community that SheCodes team has built is wonderful, everyone is very supportive and cooperative. I would highly recommend this coding course to anyone interested in learning how to code. The instructor, Matt, did a great job of keeping the videos engaging and concise, and the support team was very helpful and responsive on Slack. I never had to worry about falling behind because the pace of the course was manageable and there was always someone available to help me when I needed it. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I feel confident in my new skills!

SheCodes Plus was an amazing journey. I was having fun and enjoying building weather app. Everything I've learnt so far just clicked; I was able to debug my code, analyze it and sometimes even write the codes without going over the videos first. I just felt like a real coder! Thanks SheCodes and everyone working hard in this team!
Even with a basic knowledge of front end coding under my belt, I was able to learn a lot of new things. The class and projects are challenging yet fun and the Slacks team and my classmates helped me a bunch when I struggled with a code. Instead of overextending myself, I kept my codes simple like Matt suggested which ultimately helped me not overcomplicate my code and stress myself out.

I have learned a lot of things just in 3 weeks. I love the way shecodes makes you do the exercises. I think this is the best way to learn programming. I enjoyed learning with my team.
After finishing SheCodes Plus I feel much more confident looking into the code and trying to produce it myself. It's still definitely a lot to learn but this course gave me not only an understanding that I can learn to code but also some strong basic knowledge which will make my journey easier. It was not easy but so fascinating to see how your work turns into some real app or webpage. I appreciate all the work Matt and his team have done for creating this project.

The lesson is well-structured. I like the way that Matt showed us how to inspect the webpage to create independency in the learning process. The support of the team and peer-learning method are something you won't get from a free ride lesson. He explained in understandable language contrary to trainers who at times just want to sound smart and use sophisticated terms to impress, but the learners didn't understand or grasp the central point of the lesson
I will first like to point out that I had ZERO experience in coding. When I think of what coding is, I use to think of it was the highest level of the pyramid and that I will never be able to understand it, yet so fascinated by it. So, I give it a chance. Not only that I understand it, but I also enjoyed it. It's hard to learn something that you're scare of on your own, with no physical help. But, SheCodes [Slack] team was very helpful, encouraging and patient with me. I would love to go beyond the Basic course, hence why I choose to continue with SheCode Plus. Thank you everyone for being such a great team to us!. I'm still nervous, but I highly believe that Matt and his team will pull me through my journey.

I enjoyed coding the weather app, it was a great challenge and I learned a lot. The SheCodes team was also really helpful and supportive throughout the course. I love that the course was self-paced, but had a structure with the challenges and homeworks at the same time. Matt is also a great teacher and makes even the complex concepts easier to understand.
The last 6 weeks of this course were extremely challenging, but I can already see how it has made me a better coder, and with patience and some help from the shecodes team I made it through!
