my journey at shecodes started on the 19th of June 2023, it has been amazing, the workshops are easy to understand and their team is very helpful, I am thankful and I have gained so much from shecodes. Now I just submitted my web siteπ, I never thought coding could be this fun.
These add-on courses are just enriching my knowledge of front end development. I am thoroughly enjoying learning all the little extras I didn't learn in the main courses. Once again, I am excited to continue to the next course. Matt is a fantastic instructor and the entire SheCodes team is wonderful!
The Basics course was absolutely amazing. Matt explains everything in a clear and comprehensible way even for absolute beginners. I was hesitating if learning this quick was indeed possible, but my progress in the past week has been more than what I hoped for. The team on Slack as well as other women in the course are super helpful and that matters too, especially if you learn from scratch like me. Really well done!
If you are wondering if you can learn to code around a busy schedule such as juggling a full-time job and attending children's school and sport activities, the answer is YES, you can! Lessons are divided into bite-size pieces. The instructor's micro-learning structure enables students to learn a little at a time and at their own pace. Lessons include tutorial videos and support along the way. When I began my course a couple of weeks ago, I was uncertain if I could really be successful. I am so grateful I stretched my comfort zone and gave it a try! It was so rewarding to see my finished product. Even better, was the look on my children's faces when they saw what I was able to accomplish in a short timeframe! Thanks to Matt, the instructor, and the SheCodes team, I feel empowered to continue learning to code. Whether you are young or young-at-heart, whether you are busy with work or family --whatever your situation is-- if you are wondering if you can really do this "coding thing," the answer is: YES, you can!

I just wanted to share a quick note about She Codes and let everyone know that this is one of the best programs/workshop I have ever joined. I'm glad I have decided to work overtime to pay for this workshop certificates because it is worth every penny. I have learned a lot in the SheCodes Plus course. I've been surprised at how quickly I picked up the API integration, this goes to show what a fantastic teacher Matt is. Using SheCodes own API resources has allowed me the choice to challenge myself further than what is shown in the learning section. This opportunity has given me a lot more confidence in my abilities. I'd like to thank Matt and his team at SheCodes for the support that they provide to their students throughout their learning experience. I have had some personal trials throughout this course, as we all do at times, which have caused me to make use of the postponement feature, however, still having that accountability that SheCodes provides with the courses has made a difference for myself to continue my coding journey.
SheCodes Plus is very challenging I must attest but it is best to follow and code along from Week 7 - Week 8 because if you just watch and decide to code it later, you will not know where to start. It has been a difficult but rewarding experience. No matter your current level, just keep moving and don't quit. Thank you Matt and SheCodes Team for an amazing Workshop, I love every session.

Within 3 weeks with SheCodes, I've learnt how to do a landing page that I'm proud of. I can say that SheCodes helped with my confidence and self-esteem in this last few weeks. Matt is an absolutely amazing teacher, explaining everything step-by-step so we don't get lost and the Slack team always helps if you don't know how to fix even a minimal thing on your code. When I first started coding with sheCodes Basic I did not have any idea what I was doing. But after completing basics I got some confidence in coding. Also, I found it super fun thing to do. Today after completing the Plus workshop I feel like I have chose the prefect career for me, all thanks to SheCodes and Matt. The way this workshop is designed is awesome from basics to advance level. The online slack community is very useful, whenever I get any confusion I ask question on the slack and someone from the team get back to me really fast. Recently they have introduced Athena AI which I believe is super cool and useful feature. She could even write you a code if you are not sure how or from where to start. I am really very excited to start my next workshop- SheCodes Responsiveπ.

I absolutely love SheCodes! I started this class with zero knowledge of coding. The challenges were really very 'challenging'. There were days I stayed up all night trying to figure out a challenge without going through Slack. Right now, I'm an expert in HTML, CSS and JS. I love the way Matt Delac explains everything. This workshop has made me understand more how React works. React has been the most challenging part of all SheCodes Max course but I think I will definitely search for more courses on React.
