Before starting this course, Iโll admit I was a little intimidated by Python. Itโs known as a powerhouse in the coding world, and I imagined it being much more complex than it turned out to be. After spending weeks on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, learning Python was a refreshing shift. Revisiting APIs during the course was also a great way to reinforce concepts from my earlier workshops. Prior to joining SheCodes, I attempted to self-educate the fundamental concepts of coding. While I acquired the necessary terminology, I lacked practical experience. However, SheCodes provided me with comprehensive learning opportunities and enabled me to apply my knowledge effectively. This has been an enriching experience, encompassing both the exhilarating moments and the challenging phases. It was great to build on previous knowledge. The final project is challenging but went on to show how we are constantly building on what we know and pushing further. SheCodes Basics Add-on has been so much fun! A huge thank you the SheCodes team for being there when I had questions๐ฅฐ! With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things Iโve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.
This coding workshop came at a time when I was questioning everything especially whether I wanted to continue pursuing a career in psychology. The path forward felt almost impossible without a masterโs degree, and I knew I needed to find something that lit a spark again. Thatโs when I chose to develop a new skill and explore the world of UX/UI design and this workshop was the perfect way to begin. I never imagined how deeply satisfying it would be to build something from scratch. Iโm beyond impressed by what determination, perseverance and the right support can lead to. To the SheCodes team, thank you for giving me a second chance, not just at building a career, but at rediscovering the power I have to create a life without limits.

I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. It's really amazing to have made it this far in my coding journey, starting from understanding html basics to vanilla javascript, python and react- I thank Matt for his great and detailed tutorship as well as the SheCodes support team for their prompt support/guidance whenever needed.

My experience in this workshop is one that i would love to share with the entire world, reason been that i had been unwell when i started this workshop and i thought that i could manage and do it due to my passion but unfortunately i couldn't, so i had to take an extension twice and this made me sad and still due to my health condition i still couldn't meet up and when i asked my sister to bring my laptop over to me so i could request for another extension then i noticed that i was out of extensions as i had used up all my extensions, this made me so sad throughout the day, so when i got a bit better i chatted up the SheCodes team and told them about my current health condition and to be honest i wasn't expecting such a caring response the team gave me as i thought they wouldn't care much, but that response made my day and also got me so happy, the response i got was "Oh we so sorry to hear that, don't worry, get better soon and rest well, the workshop is self paced and don't worry you won't be penalized in any way and we have increased your extension, don't forget if you have any problem we are here to help" this response i will never forget it as it shows that apart from gaining valuable knowledge from all the workshops we are also cared for, with that in mind i gave my project all i got and i practice so well as this workshop is the most favorite for me so far and i enjoyed playing around with different theme, grid and backgrounds. I might not have said this before but i will make the entire SheCodes community proud someday insha Allah and that day i will tell the world about my journey from a beginner to a developer๐up up SheCodes.

I had been thinking about taking this course for over a year now, and thanks to the SheCodes team never forgetting about me, and the patience they have shown, I've finally started my journey! This course has given me the confidence to move forward with coding as a career.
React was really really challenging!! Despite having a solid foundation in vanilla JavaScript, react had me going through sleepless nights trying to code, fix codes, figure out what I am to do, or what I am doing wrong. Nonetheless, it has been the most rewarding workshop because I learnt a whole lot of new techniques - I was able to create components to structure and streamline codes in order to build powerful apps. I learnt how to build interactions using functions, closure and state-management. At the end of the workshop, I was able to build a sophisticated weather app using react, and then hosting my application online. Once more, I would like to thank Matt and the SheCodes team for the great workshop and timely support rendered throughout the process.
This section of coding was quite challenging, but I still enjoyed it and can confidently say that I know more than I did before. Thank you to Matt and the team for helping us through all the steps and being patient.

Iโve taken coding courses in the past but never really enjoyed them โ they were either too boring or overcomplicated. This course was completely different. The SheCodes Responsive Add-on was an incredible experience! I created a website inspired by something Iโm passionate aboutโmy city, London. From beautiful grids to interactive cards and even an HTML table, I included it all: a hero section, a Footer, Embeds, and CSS Filters. I made it fully responsive for smaller devices without using Bootstrap. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for breaking everything down step by step. Having an example website and a Figma design to follow made a big differenceโit really helped me visualize and bring my ideas to life. Iโm so proud of what I built and how much Iโve learned. I recently completed the SheCodes Web Development Workshop, and it was such a rewarding experience! I had the chance to learn so many amazing skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, and how to work with AI APIs and more and more!! Throughout the course, I built several projects with guidance from our instructor Matt, who was incredibly helpful and full of great tips. Learning web development wasn't always easy, but it was definitely fun and exciting! Every time I completed a project, I felt so proudโand now Iโm even more motivated to keep creating and improving my skills. Iโm really grateful for everything I learned at SheCodes. The support from the team was fantastic, and the entire experience made me feel confident and inspired. I'm so happy I joined this journey!

I just finished the SheCodes Basics Add-on course, and I absolutely loved it! As an architect, Iโm used to creating beautiful and functional spaces โ and learning to code gave me a whole new way to express creativity.
