I really like this course. It is well structured and organized. It is divided into short videos with exercises to consolidate the material, which helps to learn it better. All subjects are explained simply and in detail that even people who have absolutely no experience in web development can easily understand what to do. I have always been far from IT and started the course with a little fear and uncertainty, albeit with great desire. But I can assure you that there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of - everything is thought out to the smallest detail in the course: the lessons are short and understandable, the tasks are feasible, and the team and other students are always ready to help :)
I believe that the main task of any training is to give a charge of optimism and inspiration for any action, the birth of ideas and the emergence of new goals. SheCodes team completely coped with this task. I have new ideas where I can apply the acquired knowledge for myself and how it will help me in my work. Isn't it exciting to know computers and be able to build a career creating websites, mobile apps and more? I communicate with IT specialists every other time and see how they work wonders (“enter codes”). I was intrigued but didn't have the courage to start a programming course until I got into the SheCodes refugee program. https://www.shecodesfoundation.org/ukraine At first, I thought that when I join SheCodes, I would study programming just to improve my life and the lives of the people around me, to be able to know how a programming language comes into being, create those scripts that I saw how guys from IT started at work. The first week of training made me think about changing my goal from searching around myself to searching for the international community. There is power in sharing knowledge. The way SheCodes shares her programming experience is the same way I want to learn and be able to pass it on to the younger generation. Programming solves problems. This simplifies tedious routine work. just a few seconds and the task is completed. Work just got easier, right? Once a problem is solved, more time is created for other things, making one job more productive, efficient, and effective. I find that some programs take less than thirty minutes to write and will probably save me dozens of hours in the long run. frustration at the click of a button that starts a script.
I really love the program, because I was able to learn new things and it inspired me to work on more beautiful projects. What I love most is their feedback and how accessible the team is.
As a non-technical person, I sometimes work with the tech team, but I am not familiar with the specifics of what they do. SheCodes caught my attention when I was searching for short courses that could help me improve my technical knowledge. I have no words to describe how amazing this course is. I feel so rewarded after completing the course, and I look forward to gaining more knowledge that will benefit my career.This course is totally under my budget and at the same time i learned a lot from it.This is a course I would highly recommend. After almost 2 months of intensive work, I finally finished all the modules of SheCodes. I have learned so many new skills and I can say that I am proud of myself. In truth, I initially enrolled in the course (SheCodes Basics) with a lot of skepticism about the capacity for an asynchronous, online course platform to be able to teach me something functional, as well as any sort of prospective for me to be able to take this new skill and make something out of it (and even potentially branching out into a new/evolved career). While I know I still have loads to learn, knowing that coding is a growing language that even experts who have been doing so for years still study and work on to improve their skills/language, I have become hopeful that this is, indeed, a field that I can actually get into, and continue to learn, expand, and explore rather than feel "stuck" in. Matt is a phenomenal teacher. I loved the way the learning platform was designed and each activity was scaffolded and chunked into smaller bits and gradually building up to a bigger project. I also loved how the final project allowed us to create what we were passionate about. (I definitely spent way too much time - WAY more than necessary ;) - to make every detail and design the way I wanted: with both information and knowledge gained from Matt's lessons, as well as searching on google on my own for things I actually wanted more of). After doing my final project and recognizing all the more that I could learn, I have decided to continue to learn, and maybe delve into some of the other advanced workshops offered through the program. Thanks so much, Matt, and everyone else on the team!

This workshop was definitely challenging yet so much fun to learn what I did in over 8 weeks. I am very thankful to SheCodes team and Matt. This workshop has polished my coding experience compared to when I started SheCodes Basics. It has prompted me to be willing to learn more about JS and its "magic". I can say I am more confident since I am currently studying Information Systems at my university. This workshop has provided me such a valuable experience.

I have actually managed to create my own Weather App, fully functional and everything! Learning API calling and integration was the most fun of all.
