Being tremendously passionate about marketing, I dedicated a third of my entire life to this spere! My current professional goal is to become a part of a marketing team in a tech product company, that's why I study coding with SheCodes. SheCodes Responsive is an amazing way to learn how to build responsive websites, plus, you come out of it with an actual portfolio. I have always found the videos easy to understand, and, if something wasn't working, it was always easy to ask the team for guidance.
I've been teaching for 14 years already. And I know pretty well that you can teach anyone anything. However, I've never thought that I would be able to be taught coding. I've always thought that it would be something impossible for me. I understand that I'm just on the first step and there's so much more to learn. But that's exactly what makes it so interesting. Matt and his team are the ones who can divide every solution into small tasks that you succeed in and as a result you manage to do something that you've never thought you would be able to. It's a new world that might offer you a different and very exciting future. I'm incredibly grateful for having that chance to learn from such experienced people.

This workshop was quite a bit challenging for me as a coder who just started the journey a little more than month ago, but it was super fun and easy to follow. The course is so well structured - it's quite easy to follow up with lectures and challenges. Big thanks to Matt - he's a great teacher, he simplifies the complex things to understandable level (especially for me who was a complete newbie in the world of coding and tech sphere in general). And many thanks to the tech team of SheCodes - they were super helpful and supportive when I've got stuck or had troubles on making things work. I've learned so much through this workshop and feel so much more confident in my coding skills now. And the final project - the web weather app - it's great to add a real-time functioning project to my coding portfolio! This coding training was really what I needed to enhance my java script skills . There was a lot of challenges that I encountered through the development of my final project but with the help of the amazing team at SheCodes I was able to tackle them and now I am able to present my final project. SheCodes has the most effective style of teaching. No matter how many books you read or how many videos you watch on YouTube, nor whichever apps you download, Matt teaches Coding exactly how it should be taught. He breaks down difficult concepts into such simple explanations. I can't believe how much I have been able to do in just three short weeks! The SheCodes team are always available to help on slack, and so is the SheCodes community. Truly an amazing course! I will definitely be upgrading.
I like it! The first is that the introductory course does not last long and this allows you to clearly feel the time limits and understand if the coding is convenient for you. After watching the lesson, it seems that everything is quite easy, but when passing the test, you realize that there is something more to think about, something to find out! I have now taken 3 courses from SheCodes (Basics, Plus and Responsive) and each round of curriculum flows naturally into the next. My skills from Basics helped me feel confident in Plus and that curriculum helped me when I got to Responsive. When I was first taking my Basics course, I couldn't wait to reach that point in my education where I felt really confident about my web-development skills. I feel like I am at that point now, which makes me very excited to start the React material. I have nothing but words of praise for the SheCodes team and Matt. The material in each lesson is very thorough and detailed. I think one of the most valuable characteristics of these courses is that you get to watch Matt code and literally watch his train of thought go through the lines of code as he goes. He voices when he makes a mistake and shows you how to fix it. I have all the appreciation in the world for this organization.
I really appreciate being given a chance to study coding with SheCodes team! I consider the course named SheCodes Basics extermely benefitial due to an absolutely exraordinary approach to teaching and presenting the material. Matt Delac managed to twist playfully such complicated things as HTML, CSS and JS in one short course, which saves my time dearly, makes me search for extra information, and helps to start thinking as a Front-end developer.

This basic course is 100% effective. Matt explained the basics step by step, first HTML then CSS and JS. I have already known about the coding languages, but these explanations helped understand the logic of coding process. This course I, like most Ukrainians, joined in times I was forced to pack up an emergency suitcase because of the war to start everything from the scratch away from home. This suitcase could not contain what I really wanted to keep in — loved ones, important words, and my own resilience. It's a little bittersweet because this is my last workshop. You have enough time and possibility to practice new information - almost every lesson has one challenge, at the end of this lecture you can also check, how this challenge (of course it will be not the only one solution, because your code can be also correct) should be done and improve your solution. This has been such an exciting, mind-blowing, challenging and rewarding experience! I have always been fascinated by coding but it seemed too complex to even consider. The SheCodes Basics workshop was excellent. The video tutorials were clear and provided step-by-step guidance for the topics in html, css, and javascript. I learned a lot but it was not overwhelming. Once I completed the final project, I realized JUST how much I have learned over the course of this workshop. I'm super proud of myself. I particularly like that you never feel alone or without community because the Slack workspace has a ton of students going through the same challenges as you and you get answers to your questions from the SheCodes team in usually less than 24 hours. Fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone who interested in getting started with the basics.

Wow! I just built my personal website! That is amazing. I loved building it, but it did become a little stressfull in the end. I wanted to make a beautiful website and realised I don't have much 'design' experience. But.. you don't need that too much actually. Keep focused and you can make a beautiful website with the help of Matthieu and the team!

I can't recommend SheCodes highly enough! I had so much fun making this weather app, it was the perfect balance of challenging and rewarding. Didn't think I would enjoy spending evenings after work plugging away on VScode so much! The videos and homework assignments from Matt and the support provided by the SheCodes team was so helpful in getting my head around the coding fundamentals, I don't think I would have made it this far without it!
