I stated with the Basic class which I enjoyed and got motivated to move on to the next workshop, SheCodes Plus. Building the weather app was challenging yet fun and full of experiences. Now I'm motivated to work on a personal weather project. I learnt so much and inspired to work more on hands-on projects. I was not Overwhelmed through out the journey because Matt's teaching was top notch, explanatory and easy to understand. SheCodes team and SheCodes Foundation thank you so much for this beautiful opportunity.

I completed the SheCodes Basics program with a working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am able to create a basic, functioning, interactive webpage. I had tried a free coding camp previously but the content was not suited to my learning style, and they did not show us how to use actual coding tools such as VS Code and Colorzilla. I finished that course feeling more confused than when I started, online with SheCodes, where I actually learned useful things that I will be able to apply irl outside of the courses. The SheCodes course material is perfectly suited to my visual learning style, and being able to go back and reference the videos at any time, as well as work alongside them in real-time in VS Code, was extremely helpful. I feel confident in my knowledge and abilities. The Slack group is also an amazing resource and any question I asked was answered within an hour. There is a big sense of community and teamwork, and it is clear that everyone wants each other to succeed. I started the SheCodes Plus course this week and have already learned even more! What I really love about the experience is that I came into it not really knowing anything about computers, and thinking it would be hard to learn. However, Matt and the SheCodes team have created a program that is easy to learn, just the right amount of challenging, and most of all, fun! I will absolutely be recommending SheCodes to any woman in my life who may be interested in learning how to code. Its an amazing and extremely fun experience, and I cant wait to learn even more!

After SheCodes Basics convinced me to continue on my coding journey. The lessons are very well structured in short videos followed by a mini challenge. Matt does a great job of explaining everything so it's super easy to follow. I also appreciate the speed his team has in answering questions in Slack. SheCodes React was a tough journey, but was definitely worth it in the end. It is so great to see the progress that one makes in only a few weeks. I had always found coding to be very intimidating but since I began to learn with SheCodes I have really enjoyed it! Each lesson is very clear and easy to understand. I love that I was able to work at my own pace and had help from classmates on Slack. Any time I had any questions for the SheCodes team they got back to me right away, even on weekends, and were very helpful! I look forward to continuing into the next workshop.

Wow! I think I've just attended the most user friendly, clearly explained, concise workshop ever. I received some precious basic info alongside tips while having fun and in a very rewarding manner, with achievements and help given along the way. The only regret I have is preparing for med school in highschool instead of learning the basics in html, css & JavaScript. I've always hesitated to try to learn code because it seemed daunting and something I did not know I would enjoy. However, with SheCodes, I've found a new appreciation for learning languages such as Java and HTML. This program and the team behind it are full of people who are always more than happy to help you through your work and adjust if you fall behind. I have a busy schedule as a current student but following the SheCodes program never proved to be a hassle to finish nor a strain on my ongoing schoolwork. I love this program and it is a decision I will continuously thank myself for following through with. I cannot wait to keep going.

A much more advanced course that thoroughly covers React. Make sure you join the Slack channels as APIs can change, and the team is very quick to provide helpful answers on how to adjust your code to these changes if you can't figure it out yourself. Very supportive community.
