I just wanted to share my experience with SheCodes, and let you know that Matt did a really good services. I'm glad I decided to joined the workshop . It's really great how you explain and simplify the things. Sometimes i had a small issues but the team in slack was absolutely amazing support. Now I feel like I am almost there, nearly to achieve my success and be came a professional in it. I've worked hard end of this journey with SheCodes workshop to design this web page it's looks kind of marketing website . I enjoyed this workshop so much! I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I am definitely going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I am so excited!! I had the best experience during the 3 weeks of the workshop: Matt is a great instructor and the rest of the team is super helpful and supportive. It has been really fun seeing how quickly I was able to pick up coding! Within 3 weeks I have learned a whole new language and code no longer seems like gibberish. If the year 2020 taught me something that's that we need to be the ones with the control over our lives. So I googled a lot for some basic programing courses, until I found out about SheCodes. Matt is a very good teacher, his way of explaining is very simple and easy for a total beginner as me, and the support team is excellent, with very fast responses. All together I am very satisfied with the SheCode courses, and will be coming back for SheCodes Plus or SheCodes Plus React definitely.

Highly recommend all three workshops with SheCodes! I do wish React was longer and it would be nice to have a different project from the weather app in SheCodes Plus, though I do appreciate seeing how to take a vanilla js project and build it through React. The SheCodes team is extremely helpful and I enjoyed being part of the community on Slack. After completing all three workshops, I believe more education is needed before applying to any junior development roles, but this is an amazing start and provides a lot of resources and knowledge to get you started in software development!

SheCodes is one of the best beginners workshop out there. Matt is an amazing teacher, he takes the time to break things down to you and gives great context regarding each subject. With every lesson there is a challenge for you to test your knowledge and exercise what you've just learnt. Matt has a great team at hand helping you with any issues on the group working platform. I've thoroughly enjoyed learning html, css and javascript - seeing what they can do has been eye-opening.

Even though I spent a significant time among software engineers, I have always thought that coding is for people who are excellent in Math. I am truly relieved and inspired by learning that my bias was wrong. Thanks to the SheCodes team, I have discovered yet another tool for creating and sharing my ideas and content. The past two years I`ve been looking forward to becoming a Front-end developer, thus, besides my studies I was in the search of a challenging and affordable course that will cover the basics of web development, in fact, this is how i found SheCodes. The workshop has a clear, interesting structure, while Matt Delac has a unique, easy way of teaching and what I loved the most is the practical side of every lesson, as well as the Slack software which allows to share experience with other girls and receive helpful advice from the engineers team.

That was quite a ride! Right off the bat, I can say that I’m not mastering React (yet), but I can ensure that these weeks of learning React were a great start to put myself into this learning process. I like how recorded lessons were raw and that Matt showed the whole process (without editing it out) and the challenges he was facing along the way. One thing I’d love to see in the future is more courses for different project types. Matt breaks down coding in a non-intimidating way through bite-size lessons. The team is accommodating and there to help, as well!

The way I've always felt about coding would be the same as trying to catch a moving train: a rush of information in constant change and many different languages to make your choice of learning extremely overwhelming. The way SheCodes is structured makes the train move in a slower-but-steady pace, so you can learn on your own time how to code and feel confident that you too can become a coder. Amidst all of this, I'd say the best part about the workshop is the Slack community that helps you through doubts and mistakes you couldn't catch yourself. The members are extremely nice and helpful which made me feel like my questions weren't too basic or simple. Thank you SheCodes team and members for the wonderful learning experience!

SheCodes Plus was an amazing and challenging course. In just 2 months I have learned more advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript (comparing to what I knew from a previous course) and add up some more skills - like working with API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting. The whole SheCodes team in the front with Matt was incredibly helpful and motivational. The whole course is made so unbelievable well that even though you might have tons of work or school, you still will happily watch all the videos, do all the challenges and basically spend 8+ hours each week learning to code. And luckily, you will see the results! I highly recommend this course to anyone who thinks that coding might be something interesting for her. I am definitely going to do the next course React and silently hoping that SheCodes will make some more courses.

I had no doubts about taking SheCodes Plus once I finished the initial workshop because of how much I enjoyed the learning process and I am glad I did! I wouldn’t recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. Working in Growth Marketing this workshop was very useful to me as it enables me to understand websites better and perform simple coding tasks, such as adopting email and landing page templates in our CRM myself without the need to ask our Dev team for even minor changes. The second time I´ve encountered coding and didn´t remember it being this FUN! and easy to understand, definitely enjoyed every lesson and challenge, and will definitely keep learning more about it, many thanks to Matt and his team, for encouraging women around the world to challenge themselves and learn a new skill.

SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience but honestly it was challenging too. Before joining SheCodes plus I enrolled myself with the SheCodes Workshop and it really helped in making me understand the fundamentals of programming. All of the lessons are created in a way that is easy to understand and fun to implement. During the SheCodes Plus workshop apart from HTML, CSS and JS I also got a chance to learn about API integration, GitHub and Netlify to host the applications. Today I know more than I could have imagined. I’m so happy that I 3 weeks ago decided to take courses at SheCodes. I tried some different online coding courses before, but it didn’t work for me, I spend a lot of time, but by the end I could not code by myself. Look at me now, just 3 weeks at SheCode and I already can code my own webpage. The whole platform at SheCode is so userfriendly and Matt is a really good teacher, who explains every toppic very understandable. I’m so excited to continue to learn more at SheCodes. A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, I have learned the basics of HTML, Java and CSS. :)

I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.
