I found the course enjoyable; it took me a week to grasp the fundamentals of coding on SheCodes. The videos were thorough and easy to follow. I appreciated the hands-on experience, and the projects motivated me to delve deeper into learning.
I had a lot of fun during this workshop. The step by step videos make it super easy and digestible to comprehend, even for a total beginner like I was. It for sure makes me want to learn more!
It had been a very good journey with SheCodes so far, the lecture videos were very interesting and informative. And it was super easy to learn from the videos. I enjoyed completing all the challenges and the project was also very interesting .
I did noΒ΄t know anything about coding. I thought as Matt said in the videos, It was rocket science.. IΒ΄m from a different field, IΒ΄m from Health science I studied Biomedical Science, and Clinical Microbiology with a master degree in sales and Marketing so I Work in Sales but I wanted to experience a different field to learn something totally new for me. I work a lot of hours during the day and travel a lot (but not for fun hahaha), Despite my busy busy life I could finish the three weeks workshop (In more time of course, because my agenda itΒ΄s pretty tight), but The way Matt teaches does everything easier to learn; I love the shorts and practical videos to understand everything. Right now IΒ΄m thinking in take a big step to try to learn more about this world, probably soon I will take the maximum level of these workshops. Thank you very much, to create such a magical way to learn a field that looks super difficult and "just for men"...
I found SheCodes when I was searching for a really good and reliable coding course. Throughout these 3 weeks i've learned so much about coding. Each lesson was very informative and there was always extra information at the bottom of the video page so that we could learn more about each topic. I definitely feel like SheCodes Basics is worth it, and everyone should give it a try if they want to go into coding.
I had a great experience with the SheCodes Basic workshop. The video explanations are easy to follow and the activities are engaging and adequately challenging. I like the fact that I have help available via Slack, but most of the time the excellent Athena AI assistant was enough to help me throughout the activities. I highly recommend SheCodes and I am looking forward to the next stages (yes, I was bold enough to start with the full path to becoming a Front-end Developer!)
I have to say that this workshop was challenging! But that's also what is making me more confident with coding. The explanations of the videos were really good and you learn step by step. I started with zero experience few weeks ago and I feel that I have a better comprehension of the coding languages now. I start to believe that a career in tech can be possible after I finish the other workshops. Can't wait to see what is next!
I've been fortunate enough to have been on a 2 year journey with shecodes; and something that started as a way of staying entertained through covid, quickly became somthing I was excited to come back to. The bite-sized videos and small hands on exercises each week, make it easy to break down and learn a lot of complicated concepts. It's practical and incredibly insightful, not to mention the Shecodes team are always happy to assist with any troubleshooting through slack. I've been extremely grateful to have gone from the intro workshops in HTML, CSS and Javascript, and now rounding it out with React. My misconceptions were made right that coding is very easy to learn when you have a cool, intelligent, and professional instructor like Matt Delac. The video lessons were clear and easy to follow as they were segmented to made learning enjoyable. The SheCodes team on slack were also friendly and supportive as they reply promptly to messages whenever you get stuck on a particular challenge. The videos are easy to listen to and the teacher makes sure to explain every thing and makes it easier to learners to know that they can do it and be pro.He gives hope and encouragement. Also , there are many programer who were helped by shecode and that's why I would recommand this workshop to my friends. The fact that a person can learn on his own pace and be able to handle other personal tasks at the same time is good and encouraging because a person does not feel overwhelmed .

I am really glad I continued my SheCodes journey to learn even more about coding! The videos are very easy to follow, with homework challenges along the way to help you practice what you have learned. This was a great intro course! The videos are easy to understand for beginners and there's access to lots of support. The final project allows you to combine everything you have learnt to solidify your skills, which I really enjoyed.
I really enjoyed doing this workshop! It took me a while to convince myself that being from the humanities didn't mean I couldn't do and enjoy coding. The digital humanities are here! All it took was a small task of adding city codes to a database to light up the spark. Finding SheCodes was the best way to start understanding a bit more of what coding is, and with the small videos and challenges it made it really fun!
I'm impressed with how much I was able to learn in just three weeks from scratch. The methodology is engaging, the videos are understandable, and all the exercises are a great opportunity to put into practice what you learn. Β I'm anxious for the next module.Β

Wow! SheCode Plus was intense but so informative. During each lesson I found myself so excited with what I was learning and so curious for what would come next. The final project is challenging and not quick but with patience and practice it gets done! I loved that each week prepares you for the final project but you learn something new until the last video. I'm very excited to have reached this point in the workshop. I have learned a lot and I'm glad that I can now make a more complete website. I have been pursuing this learning for a long time and now I'm doing it. I really enjoyed this part of the workshop because we can adjust a website to any screen size and that's what I wanted to get to. The teaching has been incredible at Shecodes, plus each video leaves challenges that make us think a lot and challenge ourselves that we can reach our goal. I love it.
This workshop was definitely more challenging. Having no previous programming knowledge, JS was getting quite overwhelming at times. Nevertheless, with the help of each video, I was thrilled to be able to build my very first app at the end of the course! I'm excited to see what the next workshops bring and I believe with time, it will all become more intuitive.
Easy and engaging. I've tried other courses before that are very boring and have so much reading. The SheCodes videos are great and I love that Matt doesn't try to get you to memorize hundreds of elements and attributes. He just teaches you how to find what your looking for instead on trying to memorize.
I recently came across a fantastic course that I believe can significantly improve your understanding of web development basics. It covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs, making it perfect for beginners. Personally, I found it incredibly helpful in enhancing my own understanding, and the instructional videos are all very comprehensible. It was a great experience learning how to code with SheCodes.I encountered challenges here and there but the team helped and Mattβs videos made it easier. I feel challenged to further my coding knowledge.
To be honest, this course was easier than SheCodes Plus. Of course, knowledge and confidence have already accumulated. In addition, there was no Java Script. Today JS is the most difficult for me. Another achievement I consider is that I already watch video lessons with virtually no translation. Itβs very interesting to watch how a whole website appears from a set of symbols, you feel like a magician. In Responsive you have to pay a lot of attention to detail; you have to redo many sections of the page several times, changing parameters for each screen size. I would like to express my gratitude to Met and the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn. Of course, I definitely recommend these courses.
SheCodes is a great way to get your feet wet in the coding world. Matt's videos are very helpful and I like the way it is laid out, it keeps you going when it can be so easy to push off. Having deadlines and being surrounded with people who are going thru this with you and all the help others can provide is just an amazing community to be a part of.
I had a difficult time starting out, but the practice videos and instructions were very helpful in getting me to improve. I had a lot of fun, despite the learning curve.
This one was quite challenging with very dense information. I think it could've been spread out more into different themes/focuses with more gradual homework tasks towards the final project. Also The errors and experiments with the live coding were confusing. I would've much preferred a redo version. I also think the documentation is not always compatible with the material featured in the learning videos.
The videos came through in this course with the detailed step by step explanations and not forgetting the responsive and supportive community on Slack!
I like SheCodes very much, it is nice to have deadlines, it keeps you motivated. I also really like Matt's teaching method, he stays on topic and summarizes everything very well, videos are not too long or too short. I'll keep going with SheCodes!

The Basics Add-On is an excellent addition to the Basics Course ShesCodes has to offer. The Basics Add-On course helps you to advance your understanding of CSS and Javascript, all while reinforcing the fundamentals of HTML. It features easy-to-follow instructional videos and practical challenges following each lesson, aiding you in mastering the content of the lesson.
I had been looking at doing this course for a while and it also came highly recommended to me. The lessons were straightforward to understand and most of the videos were between 5-10 minutes each which helped pace the course and keep my attention (I get easily distracted). Almost all the lessons have a mini challenge mode for what you just learned that helps reinforce the learning. It was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be! The only downside for me was that sometimes a challenge had a component that was extra and not covered by the lesson so I had to either use the Slack channels they have (which are amazingly helpful!) or had to Google to understand how it was used.
I had a great time learning how to navigate the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript curriculum in the SheCodes Basic course. The videos were really helpful because they explained things in a way that was easy to understand. It was easy to learn because of how the course was set up, and I'm more sure of my ability to work with these basic tools. I highly recommend SheCodes for anyone looking to dive into web development!
This course has been a bit complicated in some lessons, however, the team is always there to reply on slack. All the videos matt has recorded explaining the lessons are great, very clear instructions. I enjoyed learning. Happy coding!
I enjoyed SheCodes Basic and I wanted to continue to improve my coding skills. SheCodes Plus was a great course to learn more about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The videos, challenges, and feedback on Slack were all very helpful.
SheCodes is one love. Every next workshop gives some new information and skills. Making a web application mobile-friendly is essential nowadays. I'd like to highlight things I liked the most about SheCodes courses: 1) on recorded videos you can see that Matt could mistype or make some mistakes, then he thinks how to correct them, how to improve how web page looks - and it's great that students are able to see real work of front-end developer, not an ideal scenario. It inspires 2) during Responsive workshop students were able to select one of three available option of design for the final project. And I would say nobody was restricted to follow them with 100% accuracy. I like that combination of freedom and template 3) as a result of every workshop a student has a final result that could be shared with friends and colleagues by just sending a link to web page!
SheCodes Plus was a challenging yet exciting workshop. The video lessons were easy to follow and the SheCodes Team was very helpful whenever I faced a challenge. I enjoyed building the Weather App and would recommend this workshop to others!
With SheCodes, I have been able to develop my coding skills from scratch. As an absolute beginner, the material is so easy to read through and understand. The videos are in a simple nut understandable format. In the three weeks of this course, I have developed skills which could have taken me months to learn.

I signed up for the Coding Workshop Pro and after completing the first 3 weeks of this program, I only have positive things to say! I love that it's self-paced and the videos and instructions are very clear and broken into logical pieces. The homework and projects keep you accountable and you get to apply your newly obtained knowledge. Can't wait to continue these workshops!
The videos were super informative but still easy to understand. Matt is really good at explaining difficult topics in a way that's easy to understand even if you never coded. It's very motivating that your able to a lot of things and see results in a very short amount of time.
I had a good experience in learning coding with shecodes. At first I had some complications on working on the challenges but the more I got used to learning resources provided like the videos,reference sources etc; I then knew what to do. Just do yourself a favour and tell a friend to tell a friend that shecodes is providing well equipped skills for web developers and then enjoy coding together with your pals. I would love to spread the energy.

When I first started the basic course, I was an absolute a beginner. I'm happy that SheCodes platform was the place where I first learned to code. I had all the tools I needed, including the instructor's step-by-step video instructions and challenging assignments that made me to do some research in addition to simply following the example. And I truly appreciated working at my own pace and whenever it was comfortable for me. I look forward to continuing the SheCodes program.
Plus has been a lot of work but it has been really fun and the videos took me through it step by step so I didn't get lost (well, not very often!). Looking forward to the next module, this has been great.

Well structured step-by-step course to get into programming. It feels very natural to listen to the videos and I learnt to go for trial and error until succeeding.
The step by step video lessons make it so easy to learn little by little, before you know it you've been able to build a whole page. There is so much material available and Matt makes it so fun!!
I've found the course interesting, and homework is challenging in a good way. I like it how it is broken down into small sections, so I can always go back to review that particular section, instead of running a long video. I'm glad I've joined it.
This has been a great few weeks! I have done a couple of smaller, free webinars etc for coding, but this has been broken down so well. I find the videos so easy to follow, understand and apply. I feel I truly understand the basics and I'm so excited to build on the foundations I've laid!

This was a really good course and I had fun coding my weather app. JavaScript was challenging at times, but the good thing is that I was always able to go back to the video and re-watch a lesson. I was very happy to learn how to host a website, how to integrate an API, and how to work with GitHub. Matt is a great instructor and gives simple explanations with examples for subjects that are difficult to grasp at first. I also want to add that Matt explains how the industry works, which tools they use, and how the workflow works in the industry. This has given me a real appetite to learn more, cannot wait to continue my progress with more advanced courses! Happy coding π§‘

Working full time while trying to learn coding is no easy task, but the SheCodes team has been there to support every step of the way. When I needed help with finnicky codes, the Slack group was there to assist and get me on track. I also needed a few extensions due to crazy work schedule and getting covid, and it was no problem for the SheCodes Team to accommodate those needs. I appreciate that the video tutorials were updated so that the information was accurate when practicing.

The learning structure is very organized. I love the way the learning videos are segregated into several short videos less than 10 minutes. In that way, I don't feel overwhelmed by the curriculum. After finishing each video, I feel I accomplished a small goal. Definitely going to pursue SheCodes learning till the end.
I think that She Codes Basics has everything that a person needs to enter the coding game. Weekly challenges, homeworks and videos work really well together.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop.I found the video lessons engaging, very clear and Matt is an engaging deliverer. The challenges attached to the lessons ensure you have understood and digested the lesson and some were very challenging and stretched the learner beyond what was given in the lesson. Week one on HTML & CSS was very intense with 21 lessons, but week 2 (on Javascript) was less time consuming and that left a whole week to work on my project in week 3. This gave me time to review past material and try new things out on my page. I really enjoyed coding and building an interactive landing page. Overall, I can't highly recommend the course enough! It was also great value for money!
