I really enjoy SheCodes workshops. I like that everything is broken down in small videos so you can learn at your own pace. Plus you can always go back to them if you need it. The weekly deadlines hold us accountable and the Slack chat is very useful. I feel like I have learned something I can use in the professional world.
This basic course was a really good introduction to the world of coding! I feel like I have built a great foundation thanks to the clear and accessible videos. I am excited to continue my journey with SheCodes!
I signed up for the Coding Workshop Pro and after completing the first 3 weeks of this program, I only have positive things to say! I love that it's self-paced and the videos and instructions are very clear and broken into logical pieces. The homework and projects keep you accountable and you get to apply your newly obtained knowledge. Can't wait to continue these workshops!
The videos were super informative but still easy to understand. Matt is really good at explaining difficult topics in a way that's easy to understand even if you never coded. It's very motivating that your able to a lot of things and see results in a very short amount of time.
I had a good experience in learning coding with shecodes. At first I had some complications on working on the challenges but the more I got used to learning resources provided like the videos,reference sources etc; I then knew what to do. Just do yourself a favour and tell a friend to tell a friend that shecodes is providing well equipped skills for web developers and then enjoy coding together with your pals. I would love to spread the energy.
Matt's videos were very clear to follow and coding this module was quite fun!!

SheCodes is one of the best program I have ever experienced. I had a lot of fun learning the basics of coding, although there were some challenges but through the videos provided I was able to get through. SheCodes is the best and I am looking forward to learning more.
When I first started the basic course, I was an absolute a beginner. I'm happy that SheCodes platform was the place where I first learned to code. I had all the tools I needed, including the instructor's step-by-step video instructions and challenging assignments that made me to do some research in addition to simply following the example. And I truly appreciated working at my own pace and whenever it was comfortable for me. I look forward to continuing the SheCodes program.
Plus has been a lot of work but it has been really fun and the videos took me through it step by step so I didn't get lost (well, not very often!). Looking forward to the next module, this has been great.

Well structured step-by-step course to get into programming. It feels very natural to listen to the videos and I learnt to go for trial and error until succeeding.
The step by step video lessons make it so easy to learn little by little, before you know it you've been able to build a whole page. There is so much material available and Matt makes it so fun!!
I've found the course interesting, and homework is challenging in a good way. I like it how it is broken down into small sections, so I can always go back to review that particular section, instead of running a long video. I'm glad I've joined it.
This has been a great few weeks! I have done a couple of smaller, free webinars etc for coding, but this has been broken down so well. I find the videos so easy to follow, understand and apply. I feel I truly understand the basics and I'm so excited to build on the foundations I've laid!
At first, I was worried about whether I could learn, but the videos were easy to learn. The homeworks challenged me and I appreciate for this opportunity.

It was difficult and confusing at times, but it got better. I'll have to watch some YouTube videos or take extra React courses. Otherwise, Matt perfectly broke down the fundamentals.

This was a really good course and I had fun coding my weather app. JavaScript was challenging at times, but the good thing is that I was always able to go back to the video and re-watch a lesson. I was very happy to learn how to host a website, how to integrate an API, and how to work with GitHub. Matt is a great instructor and gives simple explanations with examples for subjects that are difficult to grasp at first. I also want to add that Matt explains how the industry works, which tools they use, and how the workflow works in the industry. This has given me a real appetite to learn more, cannot wait to continue my progress with more advanced courses! Happy coding π§‘

The Pro course was a challenge but I am so glad I stuck with the videos and tutorials. I am proud that I created my own weather app using a live API - looking forward to the next challenge with SheCodes πͺ.
Working full time while trying to learn coding is no easy task, but the SheCodes team has been there to support every step of the way. When I needed help with finnicky codes, the Slack group was there to assist and get me on track. I also needed a few extensions due to crazy work schedule and getting covid, and it was no problem for the SheCodes Team to accommodate those needs. I appreciate that the video tutorials were updated so that the information was accurate when practicing.

As a complete beginner in coding, I was initially hesitant about diving into the world of programming. However, SheCodes.io provided an exceptional learning experience that exceeded all my expectations. The SheCodes Basics workshop was a comprehensive and well-structured program that allowed me to grasp the fundamentals of coding in just three weeks. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed, presenting concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. The combination of video lessons, hands-on challenges, and weekly homework assignments made the learning process engaging and interactive.
The learning structure is very organized. I love the way the learning videos are segregated into several short videos less than 10 minutes. In that way, I don't feel overwhelmed by the curriculum. After finishing each video, I feel I accomplished a small goal. Definitely going to pursue SheCodes learning till the end.
I think that She Codes Basics has everything that a person needs to enter the coding game. Weekly challenges, homeworks and videos work really well together.
Three weeks ago, I knew nothing about coding and decided to challenge myself and learn a new skill, and boy am I glad I did. Really enjoyed this and Matt's videos are the best!
I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop.I found the video lessons engaging, very clear and Matt is an engaging deliverer. The challenges attached to the lessons ensure you have understood and digested the lesson and some were very challenging and stretched the learner beyond what was given in the lesson. Week one on HTML & CSS was very intense with 21 lessons, but week 2 (on Javascript) was less time consuming and that left a whole week to work on my project in week 3. This gave me time to review past material and try new things out on my page. I really enjoyed coding and building an interactive landing page. Overall, I can't highly recommend the course enough! It was also great value for money!
I had a lot of fun working on the project. It was very useful to be able to go back to old videos to help me get it done. I'm excited for the next course!

Really good interactive no pressure learning. The videos can be sped up and it is concise information and in small enough steps to complete the lessons with understanding, with enough information to make quick progress!
SheCodes tutorials have been insightful. The online learning videos provide you with enough information to get you started and get your critical thinking skills active. I come from a sales process background where the steps are straight forward and simple. Learning to code really opens up the mind where you have to think more in depth, literal step by step. Previously I followed many youtube video but because i did not know which one is the correct path I ended up getting discouraged and stopped. I took a break between responsive and the add-on, which wasn't the best thing for continued development! SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. π hehe. I loved taking this course! It is the right amount of simplicity, challenging and fun!!! The videos are well thought out for you to understand just about everything and get you thinking critically on how to do some lessons. Slack is very helpful for referencing questions from other students. Knowing you will receive help from staff within 2 days is also very comforting. You are not alone on your coding journey.

Coming from my background as a musician, coding feels both unfamiliar and also similar to learning a new language, like French or music. Even if it all seems new at first, elements become more familiar with use. The lesson videos move quickly but they're packed with information and you can always go back to review.

This was an excellent course that was chocked full of really easy to understand modules. As someone who knew nothing about coding before starting this, I really appreciated the style of the videos, the online support, and the opportunity to come away with solid coding knowledge. Matt's passion for what he does shines through and really helps to get you excited about coding, while also making you feel like it's not rocket science and there are very logical steps to achieving the type of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc that you want.

SheCodes Basics has been a great intro into coding. The videos break-down CSS, HTML and JavaScript in manageable, bite-sized chunks.
I loved doing the SheCodes Basics so had to try the Ad-on as well. Although I was a little confused at first with the JavaScript, the video classes and all the assistance available on the website make it so easy to get my doubts answered and I ended up doing my final project in no time. Super excited for the next SheCodes workshop!

The workshop was very clear to follow and at some point it got super intense. However, if you watch the video properly you would be able to figure out a way. I learnt a lot about how to use API and also targeting each element of the code. Additionally for me I learnt that checking your spelling is very important cause I was stuck for 2 hours and found out that I ONLY spelled one word wrong! So if you don't want to make the same mistake install Code Spell Checker extension.
I have gained valuable knowledge in coding, I have gained an insight to what JavaScript is and how can it be applied, the videos provided have been really useful. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking for a coding course.
