Definitely gets more "intense"/complicated compared to the previous workshop but that is expected. My brain hurts lol but I feel like I'm improving as a coder and can't wait to learn more, no matter how difficult it will get. Will always favor this type of learning, Matt's videos are 100% helpful/useful.
This course was very interesting and i learnt a lot. Some of the videos, audio and information is outdated and hard to understand. I also wish there would be more information under the video which would help with note taking and understanding the content better. This course was very challenging but feel very glad i completed it.
I'm so greatful to the SheCodes team and especially my instructor Mathieu Delac who has been a great facilitator in this workshop. Despite my ill health on taking this workshop, i wouldn't quit knowing how rich it is and thinking on what new thing my instructor would talk about in the next video kept me going and now, i have completed the workshop even with little steps!🥰 Thanks Matt Delac!

I really enjoyed building my weather app! The videos were easy to follow and helped me to go from a complete beginner to building my first app.
Before taking this course I had heard many negative things about React. However, as soon as I started coding and completing challenges, I realized that React is much better than vanilla JS because there were no long codes anymore (which was annoying to me) and I was able to categorize different parts of my code (It's more concise and maintainable). The SheCodes React workshop was well-structured (as in previous workshops); with comprehensible and easy-to-follow learning videos, multiple challenges, and a practical final project (updating the weather app). I would like to thank the instructor, Matt, for his excellent teaching and guidance. I learned so much from this course and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate.
I have really enjoyed learning sheCodes basic. Matt is a good teacher and it is helpful to be able to pause the video/replay etc so I have time to write down notes.
As a complete beginner, SheCodes has been fantastic in introducing me to basic coding including HTML, CSS and JS. The workshops and videos involved and all resources available really suit my style of learning and has made it super easy to digest and understand in a short amount of time. I work full-time but SheCodes has made it easy to incorporate lessons in my schedule. I hope to continue to learning and developing in my coding journey 😊
This project was fun to complete. It seemed intimidating at first but the easy to follow videos and resources provided were very helpful in completing the project. My confidence with coding has grown after completing this workshop, and I am proud of the project that I was able to complete.
I am so happy I finished this project. At times it was extremely hard, confusing, and frustrating but the community on slack was so helpful! I feel that some of the concepts were too advanced for those coming out of SheCodes Basics, even with Matt's explanation, and some of the information is outdated. I would love to see the video tutorials updated to where Matt uses the SheCodes API! Other than those tiny qualms, this workshop was great!
Challenges and homework done simultaneously with the training are very useful and help to learn more accurately about programming. Dividing videos into shorter sections will help make them easier to understand. Programming used to be boring for me, but now it's fun!
To be honest this challenge was super difficult, but Matt's videos and posting my questions on Slack made it a bit easier. Thank you!!
SheCodes has allowed me to acquire fundamental coding skills that will be useful to me on a daily basis in my work as a webmaster in a digital agency. SheCodes Plus is a good course in coding but I felt it was a bit slow, a lot of repetition and not so much new information. Compared to SheCodes Basic - it was not as comprehensive and considering the difference in price I frankly think it wasn't worth it. i enjoyed it nevertheless and felt I learned something new. The video instructions are usually very clear and it was fun to learn with you. I would recommend SheCodes Basic course to everyone, but not sure SheCodes Plus lived up to the expectations.

I really enjoyed this workshop. Matt explains everything in a simple, digestible way. I have ADD and long learning videos are usually super tiring for me, so the short moduls were great. Same for the challenges with deadlines - I learn best by physically doing the thing I'm studying (plus I'm more likely to actually practice, if someone else is "waiting" for a result), so this was great, aswell. Looking forward to the next one!

One of my favorite workshops yet! I learned how to create an entire responsive webpage embedded with media such as videos, music, social media posts, etc. This was quite enlightening and overall fun!

SheCodes Responsive was a very tough workshop. But with Matt's hands-on videos and explanations, he made it very easy to understand. At the end of this workshop, I realized I have learned so much! I enjoyed working on my portfolio and will definitely be using these techniques throughout my coding journey.

Great workshop! Learned a lot, also because I sometimes tried stuff before the explanation and only went further when it (finally) worked or I had ran out of ideas of how to make it work. As always, great videos that are easy to follow. Also good to see there are optional parts if you want the extra challenge.
I hade a long break over summer and came back this week and finished the final project, and I immediately got reminded how good the videos are and how fun it is to write code and get to see directly what you are creating.
I'm happy to have got useful knowledge from the SheCodes Plus course. The explanations provided in the video lessons are clear and comprehensive. The materials are up-to-date and allow you to get to grips with the topic as well. My learning process was fascinating which is also important for me.

It is very interesting and helpful course for someone who want to learn front end coding and doesn't know anything about it. In this course the learning is very systematic and after every video some challenges are given to test the knowledge. I personally really loved the way of teaching and would definitely recommend it.
This workshop really ties everything that we've learned so far together. It isn't too difficult to follow along with the videos to code alongside the instructor, and it's nice to be able to listen as he talks through how he is troubleshooting when something doesn't work as predicted.
Before this program, I was afraid of being unable to keep up with the lesson and assignments. The layout of each lesson with its accompanying video makes each concept easy to understand. Sometimes I felt unsure or needed extra assistance, but I was thankful for the forums where I could ask questions and see how others might have solved the same issue.
This workshop was amazing. Matt's videos give us enough to understand what to do, but also allow us to push ourselves in the challenges. I love having the freedom to build my own projects at the end of each week because it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I already feel like I know so much, but I can't wait to keep going!
SheCodes has been such an amazing journey. I definitely would recommend anyone wanting to learn to code. The videos and interaction make it a breeze to go through and mostly you have access to people who are on the journey with you to assist you. I love that you are still able to do this while working and at your own pace and from home. Matt is amazing and explains everything in such good detail.

I enjoyed everything about SheCodes Basic and am thinking of continuing onto the next level! The instructor is very clear, the videos are bite-sized and easy to digest. There is a challenge after every video, to put in practice everything that we learn, followed by a solution to compare code and learn new things. The slack community offer a first port of call for queries and doubts. I highly recommend this short course to learn the ropes about HTML, JS and CSS.

I had no idea that stumbling across a person's video on social media talking about how amazing SheCodes was would result in having one of the best experiences of my life. SheCodes plus was a really fun experience for me and I learned a lot. I am very much excited to now know about all the interesting stuff such as API and GitHub which once seemed too complicated and scary to me! In fact I was so excited that I almost finished my weather app with all features by the sixth week and just followed the videos to make sure I know everything Matt wanted to teach us :)
Really helpful addition to the basics programme - I'm also doing Plus now, as think I can't stop now that I'm starting to learn more. Great teaching, clear explanation and step by step classes - so much better than trying to learn this myself from other online content or videos.

Quick learning course. I finished the bootcamp in 5 days, and I want to learn more and build on this skill. The videos are quick and taught me a lot. I liked the step-by-step learning, and I could do it on my own pace.
The SheCodes basics workshop was excellent! I had been debating a career change and was hesitant about diving in and spending a lot of time and money on something I wouldn't enjoy. The combination of short videos and homework assignments made coding easy to digest. Matt was comprehensive and to the point and with the help of the SheCodes slack team, I was able to complete all my assignments. I am finishing this course with the confidence to know I CAN code, and I will be enrolling in the SheCodes Max program next.
SheCodes Basic wasn't always easy, but the easy access to support, the well-made videos, the challenges/homework, and flexible yet straightforward structure with deadlines made it doable. I struggle with self-learning, but this structure was a good educational setup with autonomy. It was fun also. I highly recommend SheCodes!!

I definitely had days that were easier than others but with Matt's clear instructions and videos, I made it to the finish line and excited to jump into the next workshop! This project was definitely a challenge for me, but it was a good challenge. I had to step away from the workshop for a while due to personal reasons and ended up restarting the project once. However, the skills and tools I gained from the previous workshops as well as the easy to follow video lessons really helped me get back on track and complete the workshop without too many frustrations. Overall, I learned a lot through this workshop, and it was also fun to complete.
It has been an amazing three weeks learning the basics of coding using HTML, CSS and Javascript and soo far I want to thank shecode for granting me this opportunity to learn how to code . The learning materials and videos make it easier
Absolutely adored this workshop! I've learned some basic HTML back in highschool, so week 1 lessons refreshed my memory, but week 2 and week 3 definetely taught me a lot of new things! When I first started I had no clue what HTLM,CSS and Javascript is and Matt took me step by step. I felt like a baby learning to walk but has a very good teacher. I kept going back to videos when I needed to refer and asking help from Slack and it made it an easy journey for me. I highly recommend SheCodes. May they keep up the good work.
