SheCodes Basics was fantastic! I'd never had any experience with coding before and I found this to be a great introduction. I work in learning design, and I loved the way the learning was paced, the short videos with an applied learning activity were fab. Can't wait to take another course!

The SheCodes Basic course is amazing! The content was challenging at times but the instructional videos made it easy to understand and were great to have to refer back to when completing homework assignments. If you're looking to enhance your coding skills, I highly recommend this course.
I really enjoyed this workshop. Matt explains everything in a simple, digestible way. I have ADD and long learning videos are usually super tiring for me, so the short moduls were great. Same for the challenges with deadlines - I learn best by physically doing the thing I'm studying (plus I'm more likely to actually practice, if someone else is "waiting" for a result), so this was great, aswell. Looking forward to the next one!

One of my favorite workshops yet! I learned how to create an entire responsive webpage embedded with media such as videos, music, social media posts, etc. This was quite enlightening and overall fun!

SheCodes Responsive was a very tough workshop. But with Matt's hands-on videos and explanations, he made it very easy to understand. At the end of this workshop, I realized I have learned so much! I enjoyed working on my portfolio and will definitely be using these techniques throughout my coding journey.

Great workshop! Learned a lot, also because I sometimes tried stuff before the explanation and only went further when it (finally) worked or I had ran out of ideas of how to make it work. As always, great videos that are easy to follow. Also good to see there are optional parts if you want the extra challenge.
I hade a long break over summer and came back this week and finished the final project, and I immediately got reminded how good the videos are and how fun it is to write code and get to see directly what you are creating.
I'm happy to have got useful knowledge from the SheCodes Plus course. The explanations provided in the video lessons are clear and comprehensive. The materials are up-to-date and allow you to get to grips with the topic as well. My learning process was fascinating which is also important for me.

It is very interesting and helpful course for someone who want to learn front end coding and doesn't know anything about it. In this course the learning is very systematic and after every video some challenges are given to test the knowledge. I personally really loved the way of teaching and would definitely recommend it.
This workshop really ties everything that we've learned so far together. It isn't too difficult to follow along with the videos to code alongside the instructor, and it's nice to be able to listen as he talks through how he is troubleshooting when something doesn't work as predicted.
Before this program, I was afraid of being unable to keep up with the lesson and assignments. The layout of each lesson with its accompanying video makes each concept easy to understand. Sometimes I felt unsure or needed extra assistance, but I was thankful for the forums where I could ask questions and see how others might have solved the same issue.
This workshop was amazing. Matt's videos give us enough to understand what to do, but also allow us to push ourselves in the challenges. I love having the freedom to build my own projects at the end of each week because it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I already feel like I know so much, but I can't wait to keep going!
SheCodes has been such an amazing journey. I definitely would recommend anyone wanting to learn to code. The videos and interaction make it a breeze to go through and mostly you have access to people who are on the journey with you to assist you. I enjoyed everything about SheCodes Basic and am thinking of continuing onto the next level! The instructor is very clear, the videos are bite-sized and easy to digest. There is a challenge after every video, to put in practice everything that we learn, followed by a solution to compare code and learn new things. The slack community offer a first port of call for queries and doubts. I highly recommend this short course to learn the ropes about HTML, JS and CSS.

I had no idea that stumbling across a person's video on social media talking about how amazing SheCodes was would result in having one of the best experiences of my life. SheCodes plus was a really fun experience for me and I learned a lot. I am very much excited to now know about all the interesting stuff such as API and GitHub which once seemed too complicated and scary to me! In fact I was so excited that I almost finished my weather app with all features by the sixth week and just followed the videos to make sure I know everything Matt wanted to teach us :)
Really helpful addition to the basics programme - I'm also doing Plus now, as think I can't stop now that I'm starting to learn more. Great teaching, clear explanation and step by step classes - so much better than trying to learn this myself from other online content or videos.

Quick learning course. I finished the bootcamp in 5 days, and I want to learn more and build on this skill. The videos are quick and taught me a lot. I liked the step-by-step learning, and I could do it on my own pace.
The SheCodes basics workshop was excellent! I had been debating a career change and was hesitant about diving in and spending a lot of time and money on something I wouldn't enjoy. The combination of short videos and homework assignments made coding easy to digest. Matt was comprehensive and to the point and with the help of the SheCodes slack team, I was able to complete all my assignments. I am finishing this course with the confidence to know I CAN code, and I will be enrolling in the SheCodes Max program next.
SheCodes Basic wasn't always easy, but the easy access to support, the well-made videos, the challenges/homework, and flexible yet straightforward structure with deadlines made it doable. I struggle with self-learning, but this structure was a good educational setup with autonomy. It was fun also. I highly recommend SheCodes!!

What a challenging but fun 8 weeks of coding! I definitely had days that were easier than others but with Matt's clear instructions and videos, I made it to the finish line and excited to jump into the next workshop! Learning React with SheCodes was fun! The videos were incredibly helpful in breaking down complex concepts and making them easy to understand. Thanks to SheCodes, I now feel confident on learning more react and working on some projects
This project was definitely a challenge for me, but it was a good challenge. I had to step away from the workshop for a while due to personal reasons and ended up restarting the project once. However, the skills and tools I gained from the previous workshops as well as the easy to follow video lessons really helped me get back on track and complete the workshop without too many frustrations. Overall, I learned a lot through this workshop, and it was also fun to complete.
It has been an amazing three weeks learning the basics of coding using HTML, CSS and Javascript and soo far I want to thank shecode for granting me this opportunity to learn how to code . The learning materials and videos make it easier
Absolutely adored this workshop! I've learned some basic HTML back in highschool, so week 1 lessons refreshed my memory, but week 2 and week 3 definetely taught me a lot of new things! When I first started I had no clue what HTLM,CSS and Javascript is and Matt took me step by step. I felt like a baby learning to walk but has a very good teacher. I kept going back to videos when I needed to refer and asking help from Slack and it made it an easy journey for me. I highly recommend SheCodes. May they keep up the good work.
I highly recommend SheCodes, it's beginner friendly, the videos are easy to follow and the SheCodes team is very helpful on slack whenever you are stuck. Working on the weather app was so much fun even with all the bumps on the road.
Shecodes really helped me, I had no background in Tech but now I can tell a different story. Over the past decade or so, I have served as the head of various departments of technical engineers and developers. During this time, my daily routine has transitioned from hands-on engineering towards managing, strategising, and coordinating projects. Though I've made a few attempts at coding, the knowledge I've acquired has largely been left to gather dust in the back of my mind. Nonetheless, I've always harboured a desire to play a more hands-on role. With this in mind I decided to to reignite my passion and embarked on my SheCodes journey, starting with the Basics course. It's been nothing short of a revelation. This course has helped me reconnect with my natural coding ability, offering an enjoyable and exciting way back into the world of coding. The material was engaging and the videos are knowledgeable and approachable. The fact that I could study at my own pace, fitting the course around my schedule, was an added bonus. It was a joy to return to the nuts and bolts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after such a long hiatus. What I particularly appreciated was the process of re-engaging with problem-solving, the kind of critical thinking required to build something from the ground up. The course reminded me of how much I enjoy the creativity involved in coding, the challenge of making something functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's been a pleasure to have that part of my brain engaged again, and to feel my passion for coding rekindled. Looking ahead, I am particularly excited about starting the SheCodes Max course. I feel it is the perfect next step to dive deeper into coding and explore its many facets that blend creativity and engineering. So, to anyone considering a coding course, I would say go for it. Whether you are a seasoned developer or a beginner, SheCodes provides a fantastic environment for learning, growing and reigniting your passion for coding. It certainly did for me.

Loved this course! I have wanted to take an intro coding course for a while, and I'm so glad I chose SheCodes. Matt was a great instructor, the video, challenge, then solution format really helped me learn the topics, and the flexibility of doing the course at my own pace meant I could easily fit the course into my schedule. I really enjoyed doing my final project, and will be signing up for another workshop in the future!
I found the SheCodes Plus workshops challenging but fun. I learnt a lot, and really expanded the skills gained in the Basics programme. The early weeks go over what was previously learnt and I found that a useful way of consolidating my learning, and building my skills. I was really pleased with the project I was able to create in such a short space of time. For absolute beginners, like myself, this is a perfect combination of hand-holding (via the informative videos) and encouraging you to find solutions. A really interesting and informative course.

The most understandable video lectures with step-by-step creation of projects contributed to a fairly easy perception of completely new and unfamiliar things for me. Responsive assistants and a community of students helped to resolve difficulties and issues. The last React workshop had a bit of a struggle, but in the end it worked out. Of course, it still takes a lot of practice for theory to become my skills, but a start has already been made.
*sighs* What a challenging 3 weeks learning coding with no I.T. background. I really learnt how to be patient with myself although it was frustrating at times. Must say the videos Matt created are quite helpful and make it very easy to learn and apply. I'm very proud of myself and would definitely recommend SheCodes to everyone willing to up their skills to better themselves.

At times it was a tad confusing and even overwhelming, especially having no prior experience in coding. But the community here is always eager to help, and the resources online make it possible for you to keep pushing through! I enjoy Matt's teaching style and how he doesn't edit his videos to the point where he seamlessly eases through the lesson. Mistakes are shown and corrected, and that's what truly helps me learn!

I enjoyed this course quite a bit. Learning React does feel quite advanced and like a more sophisticated way to code. However, for me, it felt like sometimes new topics weren't made very clear or not expanded upon enough, or sometimes it felt like the instructor was fumbling with their explanation a bit and that made it harder to follow (which I find odd since it's a pre-recorded video, so it should be easy to edit). That could just be my personal experience, though.

I do appreciate the high quality of the course. Video-lessons are beginner-friendly and well-structured. You go thought plenty of exercises during the course, so you practice mostly. All questions i had always were answered on Slack channel or through Athena AI. I do like to learn when it's interesting, fresh, practical, flexible, supportive. And all of this is about the course.
