You can do things at your own pace and always go back to watch videos if you need a refresher. You also get support from other students if you need help at any moment.
It was incredible to understand how the APIs work and how to apply them in Js, all the videos were very well explained and the final project was perfect for this level of study.
It was so interesting short video but completely have everything about coding. Matt is an amazing teacher I have ever seen .

I really enjoyed this course and the way it was taught. All the information was broken down into very digestible videos that were easy to follow, and we were provided with lots of of resources and ways to get in contact if there were things you didn't understand. This course really highlighted the scope for creativity, both in the extent to which you can personalise the design of a webpage, and also in the ways you can combine code to create really interesting functions. Overall, this course was very engaging, and I would really recommend it to anyone looking to broaden their skillset, or just looking for a new challenge!
I must say i really enjoyed the Shecodes basic class as a beginner with no idea of what coding is actually all about. The challenges and homework made it much easier for me to understand the 'learn videos' and most importantly the opportunity of learning at my own convience and pace made it much more easier for me as a beginner. After being totally mesmerised by the free one-hour introduction session by Matt, which I curiously signed up for, I am SO glad that I took the leap and enrolled in the SheCodes Basics course. It has ignited an excitement in me for the future of my career that I haven't felt in a long time! The course is also laid out and presented in an incredible way; super informative but also succinct and not overloading at all, and with me being a visual learner, I feel like I was really able to absorb everything that was demonstrated in the tutorial videos. I liked the course a lot. In a short time, it gives a lot of information to start understanding how things work in coding. Matt is very clear in his explanation and I liked the fact that after every video there was a small challenge to use right away what you had just learned.
The video instructions were straightforward and to the point. The Basic workshop is a breeze for anyone with prior coding experience. Despite being a beginner's level course, though, it does not dwell on any one topic and speeds through the necesssary knowledge. Even with some coding experience, I learned a few new things with how Javascript behaves alongside HTML.
SheCodes plus is awesome. I had a lot of fun during this workshop! I didn't think I could make it this far but the videos were intelligible and doing challenges were also helpful! Thank you SheCodes :) You rock!
Very clear explanation step by step. Later videos also repeat things explained earlier. This ensures that you don't forget certain important things. It is also easy to follow with the examples next to it. It was also very nice that you can reschedule the deadline of your projects. This allows you to get to everything at a quiet time and learn everything really well without getting stressed about the upcoming deadline.
Great job! I'm really very happy to be in this project. Colossal work has been done on each lesson. As a result, high-quality videos are obtained, which are easy and pleasant to learn from!
As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I've been out of college and the workforce for a few years now and I looked at a handful of possible bootcamps to try. I'm so glad I went with SheCodes. Not only is it perfect for people who need to do lessons at random, odd hours, but the content is great and easy to understand. Matt is seriously the best instructor I've come across so far in this field. I've done a few self learning courses and youtube tutorials and other things but learning from Matt's videos have definitely been the best experience I've had in the last 2 years of me trying to decide if I wanted to do this or not. It's really great to be able to do this around my schedule and to learn in short, user friendly lessons with fun projects. I highly recommend SheCodes.
I never thought I would be able to write a line of code and make it functional, but SheCodes made me believe. I loved the experience, the videos in each lesson are very enlightening and the practice exercises are great. They are not exact copies of the examples given in the lessons, which makes it all the better to practice. Step by step, Matt makes you able to build something. I can't wait to continue and sign up for a new workshop!

SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
There were many tough moments when trying to figure out how to code certain parts of this project but I was able to complete this project thanks to Matt's clear instructional videos, the She Codes Slack community and even Athena-SheCodes'own AI assistant.
SheCodes Basic has been fun to learn! I really like that we are able to learn at our own pace. The lessons are explained well and it's great that we can rewatch the videos at any time. The challenges, homework assignments, and project have made me think but they've also been fun. I'm looking forward to moving on to the next set of Workshops!

I absolutely enjoyed the workshop. The structure of the SheCodes workshops makes it easier to learn and understand/retain the information you're learning. The short lesson videos also helped me not to feel overwhelmed, thus making the workshop as a whole quite enjoyable.
I took the SheCodes Basics course during my spring break because I'm thinking of a career change, and thought this would be a good way to see if coding is something I'd like. The class was affordable, and I ended up really liking it! The videos were easy to understand, and I am considering saving up for the other classes.
I really can't say enough about how good this program is. It has taught me the basics of coding, it makes everything almost simple. The videos and examples just make it so much easier.

Basics covered almost everthing what a beginner would need. Matt has curated the videos to be short and along with the challenges it was interesting to learn.

Having completed SheCodes Basics, I couldn't wait to continue learning. I like that the videos are pre-recorded, so if I'm stuck on something I can pause, go back, and rewatch. I can go at my own pace. The flexibility is great, the lessons aren't too long so it doesn't feel overwhelming.

I have started at Shecodes two weeks back started with Basic coding. From the very beginning, the course was engaging and easy to follow, with a clear structure that made it easy to stay on track.I was impressed with how quickly I was able to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course material was well-presented, and the video tutorials were clear and concise, making it easy to understand even the more complex concepts.
The five week course that could've gotten done in two weeks. By the end of week three I no longer watched any video or solution by week five I just kept turning things in bc already knew what it was they wanted of me. it is a waste of time but happy to get something out of it.
Fantastic skills to learn. more exercises and perhaps even quizzes would help with learning rather than just following/copying the videos. But an overall good investment.

Great course. Explains everything and is to the point. Not super long videos so it's easy to follow along and get straight onto hands on work. Definitely moving onto the other courses.
This workshop was very hands-on by putting all these skills we've learned into making a portfolio that can be used professionally. At this point, I feel very confident creating this portfolio on my own and not needing as much guidance. It's been a lot of work, but very satisfying figuring things out more independently while still knowing I had support when I got stuck. The videos are always very clear and helpful. I even feel more confident looking things up on my own through google and other resources.
I found this course to have a very interesting approach to teaching. The video-classes help breaking down each learning element to make it digestible, but the challenges sometimes sneak in some elements that may require the student to do some digging by themselves. It is therefore both a proactive and reactive approach to learning, which I found to be very useful.
SheCodesPlus is super fun! I loved every second coding. The instructions in the videos are understandable and easy to follow. I highly recommand learning to code with this programm.

I am glad that I got the opportunity to take the basic course SheCodes. Excellent explanations on the video and practical demonstrations in VS code will allow any beginner to feel like a front-end developer and believe in themselves.

I was honestly really scared to start with this course. Once I started, it felt... easy! The videos, the community and the instructions were easy to follow but also challenging enough to make you pause and think. The feeling of achievement at the end is AMAZING!
I learned coding at university but it was too hard for me. And now I wanted to get back to it, and this was amazing program to do so! I could take it slowly or faster, and I could understand everything! I could get back to videos or ask in group chat if I didn't understand everything! I work for a tech company and I often sit in meetings with developers and often have no clue of what they're talking about so this course has made it easier for me to support clients and better engage with my colleagues.

I just finished a beginner programming course and it was great! The video tutorials were easy to follow and the instructor did a great job of explaining complex concepts in a clear way. The programming exercises were interesting and challenging, and helped me apply what I learned. I highly recommend this course for anyone just starting out in programming.
When I signed in on SheCodes, I knew nothing about coding but I've learned more than I expected and I was very surprised of the skills I aqcuired at the end of those past three weeks. I usually don't like online courses but surprisingly, I enjoyed watching the videos and doing the different challenges. Matt explains everything well and the fact that I could extend the deadlines is helpfull and stress releaving. I had a really fun time learning with SheCodes and I highly recommend.

This workshop was challenging in a fun way and pushes you to learn extensively throughout the explanative videos. While I still do not 100% understand all of the Javascript and function creations have done throughout the project, it was an extremely rewarding feeling following the SheCodes API and putting in the correct conditions. I'm glad it was broken down into multi-week portions as it was HEFTY. I am grateful for the experience and have a project I can look back on and go "Oh yeah we did this here" and I get to dissect it even further while going deeper into learning code. It makes me appreciate the individuals who do this for a living. Hopefully, I too will get to the point where everything "just clicks" as it does for Matt Delac in his informative videos!
