Today I finished my 1st SheCodes workshop, 3 more to go!! A few weeks ago i decided to started my journey with SheCodes workshop 👩‍💻 "Introduction to coding". It was a great experience learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VS Code. Before I started learning, I had no experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VS Code. Glad I signed-up for SheCodes workshop and very excited to gain more experience in the Tech. industry. Matthieu Delac has made it so easy to learn through videos (online learning) that even a person with no tech. background can do it.

Fantastic workshop! Easy to understand information for beginners with no previous experience (I am a previous speech therapist). Lots of content broken down into short, easy-to-understand videos. Plenty of support from the community so I never felt lost.

Highly recommend! Interesting videos, exciting tests.

I loved doing the challenges at Shecodes! What initially started as a professional incentive to facilitate work, became a personal fascination. It is much more fun than I would have imagined and the videos are easy to follow. 10/10 recommend!!

After recently completing my second certification with SheCodes, I am now considered a Frontend Developer! Yay! I took SheCodes Basics to try out coding and see if it was something I'd enjoy doing. The videos and lessons are packed with information, and the challenges taught me a lot.

I've achieved more in the last couple of weeks on SheCodes than I have in the last few years when I've tried to learn through other teaching platforms. SheCodes breaks down the essentials into short and informative videos, and the demonstration challenges really help to build up the learning further.

These are the kind of courses you want to come back to. Each video carries a lot of meaning and practice. I am excited!

I really enjoyed this course! This workshop is really useful for anyone who want to learn how to build a responsive page website. Matt is a great teacher, his instructions are clear and the videos solutions reinforce knowledge.

Loved SheCodes Basic! Short and straightforward videos with clear explanations and simple examples specifically designed training material for beginners and advanced students alike. Extra info with links at the bottom of each video where you can learn more. Who knew that it would be more difficult to decide on the colors you want to use for your final project than the coding part itself 😅. Good thing Matt has a solution for that too with SheCodes Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. Thank you Matt & SheCodes team!

Never thought coding could be very fun. I enjoyed all the videos and learned a lot from them.

After months of using other learning platforms, I found SheCodes to be the best platform available! I really appreciated after each lesson, you get to practice what was showed in the previous video, and you can't move on until you submit your work! Matt is an awesome instructor. Every lesson is easy to understand and not overwhelming. I'm really looking forward to starting the next workshop!

Matt and the Shecodes team are doing awesome work. I struggled a bit with React but I watched the videos step by step again and understood. It feels great to have completed these projects.

SheCodes Plus was more enjoyable than SheCodes Basic. You feel accomplished after finishing all the workshops! Matt's videos are easy to follow for beginners.

The whole material was fascinating and useful. You learn something small from the every single video and then suddenly in the end of the week you realize that you can actually program the REAl-DEAL web-site with buttons, links and interactions!

This course is amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to coding step by step and start your career as Front End Developer. The course videos making the learning easy and fun . The course is well structured and easy to understand.

Glad to complete my first integration with API and have my weather app working. Thanks to the detailed videos in this workshop it was quite a pleasure to work on the app and learn new coding stuff.

I believe this was overall a great introductory course. I would have liked for the videos to have spent more time explaining some of the more advanced concepts in JavaScript that were not as intuitive as html or css to logically understand, but that's alright. The cheat sheets were helpful to get through the course timely without needing to spend hours trying to make sense of it as a beginner.

I loved the course. It was easy enough to follow along with the videos. The tasks and homework kept me accountable.

I really liked the workshop. It is very comfy when you can study at a time convenient for you, and the presentation of information is also very good - the video lessons are short, but very informative, everything is clearly and neatly, without unnecessary information.

This one was definitely a challenge. It goes more in-depth than the introductory course so it took me longer than I thought. I kept working on my project little by little, kept rewatching the old videos when needed and kept coding. So in my own tempo, I've graduated and now feeling confident and curious to play with my code, to learn more. And I've also found new friends through SheCodes community. What a success!

Yes, learning to code can be hard at times. You are learning a NEW LANGUAGE :) Thankfully Matt shows you step by step what to do and what NOT to do. Between the Slack student help channel and being able to rewatch videos as much as needed you can and WILL eventually figure it out and it will make sense. Take a break but do NOT give up! :)

I really like the SheCodes training program. The material is presented in an accessible way, very complex topics are explained in the video tutorials. I will recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn the basics of front end development from the ground up.

Great learning experience. Videos were easy to follow as always. I like the variety of challenges. It was nice to be able to build two different projects - one that was familiar from a different workshop, and a completely new one that allowed me to solve different challenges and learn new things.

I had so much fun learning the basics of coding with the SheCodes basics workshop. I have no previous experience in coding at all. This course made it so easy to follow and understand. I love that the lesson videos are broken into shorter digestible snippets and have challenges to check your understanding. I took this course to test the waters and see if it is the direction I would like to go career-wise. So far I am loving it! I can say that I will definitely be taking the next workshop to further expand my knowdelge of coding.

The videos and instructions were very easy-going, these were MADE for beginners and I am so glad there is an entire organization out there dedicated to this and teaching women all around the world. I am so happy I took this workshop! :) I enjoyed it overall and learned so much in the process.

I really like how you explain basics in small videos so that you catch all the necessary information.

SheCodes Basic is a frontend web development course for beginners. Matt is really good at explaining and you can always go back, rewatch the videos, read up details using the provided references and resources. If you are interested in web development and don't quite know where to start, this course is a great entry point.

I highly recommend SheCodes workshops for everyone. Each video is very informative and clear. Each task is extremely fun and interesting. After completing this course I am very motivated to continue learning coding and I am very grateful for this amazing opportunity to start coding with SheCodes.

As a complete beginner, I started my coding journey with SheCodes in April 2022, which was purely coincidental. I can't believe I've come all the way to completing the React course! The videos are super fun and informative, as Matt guides you step-by-step on what you should be doing. Even 30 minutes a day will help you get a long way.

SheCodes base course definetly help me understand that this is something i like to learn more and one day become my job. Video easy to follow (even if i didn't manage to use Slack for help) 🤷‍♀️ but somehow i've found my mistakes and correct them - 🙄not easy..lots of bad words 🤬LOL

Thanks to the shecodesfoundation for the opportunity to attend this workshop. I had a great time! This course is the perfect combination of fun video tutorials and practical exercises. This is exactly what is needed for beginners.

I did it! It was not so easy, but Responsive course is worth of studying definitely! Video lessons are still simple, but Matt give the most useful, important information (especially, links and documentation as reference sources). Anyway when you know your direction, it's easier to achieve a goal!

I found this course so exciting!! I learned so much about working with JS functions and targeting API data. The videos are easy to follow and Matt explains the coding process very well!

This was a great beginners course. Easy to follow and you can always go back and review things in the videos. An expert is always there when help is needed and the SheCodes community is there to help as well.

Observing how the development process is taking place is really useful. I mean we see in Matt's videos how he decides to choose one or another technique, tries something, something works - other things do not. And it is nice for newbies to see the process as it is.

Really enjoyed the process and learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Java Script. The videos were informative and supportive, with the challenges being a great way to test out the new found knowledge.

SheCodes Basics is really good for getting started with coding. Thanks to three weeks of regular classes, I realized that studying can be interesting. Accessible materials, meaningful videos and enough time for homework. I can make my own website now. Moreover, I happened to get acquainted with different platforms that help a web developer in his project. Many thanks to the SheCodes for supporting Ukrainian women during the war. And thanks for giving me this course for free.

I took the basic course and really loved it - the videos and units were adequate in length and complexity so that I was excited and motivated at all times. It really helped that there were as many little tasks so the new knowledge had to be applied directly. Thank you, Matt!

I really enjoyed the videos and the challenges, as they are short but full of good content, always giving new information and new things to learn. Sometimes it is frustrating when I don't understand why something is not working ... it takes a lot of trial and error to get to make things work... but when it does work, it seems like I'm making magic and it is a good feeling to know that I can create something from scratch using coding! I barely finished SheCodes Basic workshop and I cannot wait to start the next one. I truly enjoyed everything about it! The weekly homework made me repeat what I've learned and also pushed me into searching other videos on Youtube and learning more in-depth. Recommend this to everyone that wants to get into this world of programming. The satisfaction of looking at something you created it's AMAZING!

Very good interface, you can easily find the video. Things are described very well, so I could understand. Good structure of studying material, all things are followed after each other. Helpful challenges even though not every one was funny to do.

After becoming quite intrigued about the dazzling world of Information Technology through my expat students, I decided to take this course to dip my toes into coding. I REALLY enjoyed it! It's very well set-up and totally beginner-friendly. The length of the videos is perfect and I like that you are constantly challenged to put your new knowledge into practice. I never expected that it would actually become quite addictive to play around with the different options, it definitely sparked my interest in learning more! Thank you SheCodes 🙌🏼

I loved these 3 weeks of coding workshops! I've learnt so much and the format makes it really enjoyable. It is very clear, user-friendly and the examples used are simple. Loved the length of the videos, they are quite short so it makes the course super easy to fit in a busy timetable. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in coding 😄

i think discussed functions were really useful, but the learning process is a bit off. tasks basically require you to repeat everything you have already done in the video. We build up functions in a very confusing way, add them, and get rid of them. We have spent so much time to learn how to switch F to C just so we can get rid of that at the end......

I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!

SheCodes Plus is just what I have been looking for: very instructive short videos that motivate to learn to code. Now I seriously think of resigning from my job and becoming a FrontEnd developer. I just fell in love with coding.

I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!

Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Taking a coding class as a busy mom of 2 babies seemed hard, but this course made it doable! Small quick videos and engaging challenges made learning fun. I know that I will be able to continue to build upon the skills I have just learned.

Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.

I started SheCodes because I want a career in tech. I've tried other courses but I like the accountability of submitting homework. Matt's videos were easy to follow and I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

This SheCodes bootcamp has been extremely informative and easy to understand. The videos are very helpful especially to a new beginner like myself. Keep on trying and the work done is very satisfying.

The school in my opinion is one of the best for girls and women! Which has no worthy analogues. Very clear and concise, with no unnecessary information laid out. The video lessons are very interesting and understandable, even for those who have no idea what is CSS HTML and so on.. Following along with the video instructions was very easy. There were a lot of helpful cheat sheets, apps, links, and hacks provided. Beginners who are just getting started with programming should definitely give it a try.

I adore the method of studying with SheCodes, interactive challenges, fast feedback, and easy-to-learn video classes, what I like the most are videos that are no longer than 10 min because I can't stay focused for more than 10 min. Thank you a lot! Can't wait for the next level!
