SheCodes Basics is really good for getting started with coding. Thanks to three weeks of regular classes, I realized that studying can be interesting. Accessible materials, meaningful videos and enough time for homework. I can make my own website now. Moreover, I happened to get acquainted with different platforms that help a web developer in his project. Many thanks to the SheCodes for supporting Ukrainian women during the war. And thanks for giving me this course for free.

I took the basic course and really loved it - the videos and units were adequate in length and complexity so that I was excited and motivated at all times. It really helped that there were as many little tasks so the new knowledge had to be applied directly. Thank you, Matt!
I really enjoyed the videos and the challenges, as they are short but full of good content, always giving new information and new things to learn. Sometimes it is frustrating when I don't understand why something is not working ... it takes a lot of trial and error to get to make things work... but when it does work, it seems like I'm making magic and it is a good feeling to know that I can create something from scratch using coding! Thank you for sharing this knowledge with us!

I barely finished SheCodes Basic workshop and I cannot wait to start the next one. I truly enjoyed everything about it! The weekly homework made me repeat what I've learned and also pushed me into searching other videos on Youtube and learning more in-depth. Recommend this to everyone that wants to get into this world of programming. The satisfaction of looking at something you created it's AMAZING!

Very good interface, you can easily find the video. Things are described very well, so I could understand. Good structure of studying material, all things are followed after each other. Helpful challenges even though not every one was funny to do.
After becoming quite intrigued about the dazzling world of Information Technology through my expat students, I decided to take this course to dip my toes into coding. I REALLY enjoyed it! It's very well set-up and totally beginner-friendly. The length of the videos is perfect and I like that you are constantly challenged to put your new knowledge into practice. I never expected that it would actually become quite addictive to play around with the different options, it definitely sparked my interest in learning more! Thank you SheCodes ππΌ
I loved these 3 weeks of coding workshops! I've learnt so much and the format makes it really enjoyable. It is very clear, user-friendly and the examples used are simple. Loved the length of the videos, they are quite short so it makes the course super easy to fit in a busy timetable. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in coding π
i think discussed functions were really useful, but the learning process is a bit off. tasks basically require you to repeat everything you have already done in the video. We build up functions in a very confusing way, add them, and get rid of them. We have spent so much time to learn how to switch F to C just so we can get rid of that at the end......
I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!
SheCodes Plus is just what I have been looking for: very instructive short videos that motivate to learn to code. Now I seriously think of resigning from my job and becoming a FrontEnd developer. I just fell in love with coding.

I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!
Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.
Taking a coding class as a busy mom of 2 babies seemed hard, but this course made it doable! Small quick videos and engaging challenges made learning fun. I know that I will be able to continue to build upon the skills I have just learned.

Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.
I started SheCodes because I want a career in tech. I've tried other courses but I like the accountability of submitting homework. Matt's videos were easy to follow and I thoroughly enjoyed the course.
This SheCodes bootcamp has been extremely informative and easy to understand. The videos are very helpful especially to a new beginner like myself. Keep on trying and the work done is very satisfying.
SheCodes is a great workshop to learn coding online on your own terms! It is well-thought-out: The explanations in the videos are doable for everyone, you can have help 24/7 and there is a wonderful community on top.

The school in my opinion is one of the best for girls and women! Which has no worthy analogues. Very clear and concise, with no unnecessary information laid out. The video lessons are very interesting and understandable, even for those who have no idea what is CSS HTML and so on.. Following along with the video instructions was very easy. There were a lot of helpful cheat sheets, apps, links, and hacks provided. Beginners who are just getting started with programming should definitely give it a try.
I adore the method of studying with SheCodes, interactive challenges, fast feedback, and easy-to-learn video classes, what I like the most are videos that are no longer than 10 min because I can't stay focused for more than 10 min. Thank you a lot! Can't wait for the next level!

This course is awesome!!!! Matt explains VERY WELL and makes everything easier to understand. The tasks after each video help you a lot to understand what was explained in the videos before. I am super happy that I joined SheCodes, and I can't wait to continue with the other courses.
Wanted to dip my feet in since I already have coding knowledge but wanted to expand some more, so this was more of a refresher of some sort. Thought that if my experience in the first course went well I would try out the other courses. I'll end up buying the next course, so for everyone who is scared of trying coding I think this is a good step in the right direction! It's super easy to follow and the videos are helpful. The resources they give to each student is a good plus too! Happy coding, everyone! :)
I enjoy learning JS, CSS and HTML on SheCodes! The videos are so detailed and easy to go back to when you need a refresher while coding.
SheCodes has been great! I learned a lot. As someone who is easily distracted its been so nice to be able to rewatch videos over and over again. Matt is a great instructor and often made me chuckle lol. I work a ton and it's been a blessing to be able to complete this course on my own time. Can't wait to complete the next parts!!!
I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to any woman who is interested in taking her first steps in coding. Matt's instruction videos are easy to follow and I liked the hands-on approach. Another plus is the amazing support team that offers quick solutions in case you get stuck with any homework or challenge. Overall, I am pretty amazed at how much I was able to learn in such a short amount of time.
It was an amazing jorney to improve skills in HTML,CSS and JS! Sometimes it was hard to understand some things. But Matt's explanations,video solutions and additional documents for reading really helped. I'm very grateful to the SheCodes team for this course!
The courses were simple to assist me to understand basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. As I work as a Senior Technical Recruiter, this would benefit my interview skills with candidates and know their daily jobs better. I enjoyed this She Codes Basic Workshop. I really liked Matt's teaching style and well-structured videos. I love the challenge after each lesson. I worked as a backend developer and wanted to learn new skills in Frontend. Because of this workshop, I was able to update my existing knowledge. I am excited to continue with the rest of the Codes workshops. I highly recommend this course!
LOVED IT. The videos are well done and easy to follow. Learned a lot. Recommended it to two friends and they have been enjoying it a lot as well. I'm currently a teacher that hopes to get a better-paying job as a coder and I believe this workshop is a great step in that direction.

Joining SheCodes has been one of the best decisions of my life. I always found coding interesting but never thought I could do it as I have Dyslexia and struggle to stay focused, so I thought it would be way too hard to understand and learn. The way the lessons are built and presented makes it so easy to get things done because you can take your time, pause the videos and have as many breaks as you need, and Matt explains and demonstrates it in a way that somebody like me can fully understand. Having challenges to do was also really helpful because it's allowing you to practice and make sure you know what your doing before moving on. I had a lot of fun these past 3 weeks and i couldn't be more grateful to this program for what it has provided me with, I'm looking forward to starting the next workshop. Thanks so much SheCodes!

This course was full of challenges and fun. We've been trying to build a weather forecast app and it's been a bit difficult at times. Thanks to the video tutorials, we did it step by step. I really enjoyed this course.
SheCodes Plus Responsive was great fun and I learned a lot! Matt's videos are great and he demonstrates everything in a clear and easy to follow manner. Building the portfolio website was challenging at times, but it was great to put the learning into practice and really rewarding to have the end product. I enjoyed having the freedom to get creative and put my own spin on Matt's design. Highly recommend giving the Responsive workshop a try!

I am so glad that I started learning to code with SheCodes. Coming from a healthcare background, I was unfamiliar with coding and was nervous that coding would be impossible to learn so quickly. I tried every book and online workshop there was to try to learn coding but nothing worked until I decided to try SheCodes. The videos are very detailed and easy to follow and the team is very supportive and quick to respond if you get stuck and need help.
I really enjoy the learning process at SheCodes. The ability to double-check yourself even when something does not work out, the clear structure and logic of the presentation of the material - everything is at the highest level. I feel a great responsibility for learning when it is structured in an understandable way (the duration of each video, the process shown by the teacher, consolidating the material and especially checking the passed with the analysis of errors)
Prior to starting SheCodes, I had no coding experience nor knew if it was something I'd enjoy, but Matt's videos are fun and super easy to follow. The challenges in between lessons are a perfect test of what was just learned. Even if I didn't grasp a concept initially, I could always go back and watch the lessons; even from previous modules. What I really enjoyed is I could watch the videos and do my homework from anywhere in the world, on my own time. I am also grateful for the amazing SheCodes team who were quick, kind and patient when answering questions. Thanks!!
I had always thought that coding and programming languages were so difficult and totally unlearnable, but only 3 weeks in my coding journey and I can't believe I am totally killing it! They teaching videos are so simplified and easy to grasp. They challenges after each lesson encourages practices and mastery and are fun to do. They projects are a total game-changer. Matt's videos were easy to follow and understand and it was a lot of fun to get through this project! It was definitely a learning curve but I look forward to the next part of the program!
The way the class is built is just perfeeeect! πIt's super easy to follow and to understand in a short amount of time (actually, a lot less than I thought it would take!). πThe classes are divided into bite sized videos, never too long, never boring, just straight to the point. πThe comprehension of the given material is helped (a lot) by the mandatory (and short) exercices. πThe fact that you have to send the exercises after each important class and that you have βspecific datesβ to give them back, makes me feel accountable for my own progress. πAlso, the flexibility of the curriculum make the workshops a lot more fun (for me at least!) because there is no pressure at all. Cannot wait to continue to the next workshops. π€
I appreciate how SheCodes doesn't underestimate the participants. In most coding courses I've followed, you have to 'copy the instructor', but here you get a challenge where you have to apply what you've learnt in a different scenario than the explanation video. I've had a lot of fun with the homework; and that's a first! The freedom you get in your solutions is great, since you don't have to deliver an exact match. If you have a solution that's slightly different than the suggested one, that's no problem at all!

I am happy that I decided to take this workshop, every week was challenging but it was satisfying to see how in the end it all came together. The instructional videos were very useful as I keep referring back to them and having access to the slack community helped me keep pushing forward whenever I was getting stuck on a homework problem. Looking forward to my next workshop!
SheCodes Plus was amazing! It wasn't easy at all. There was moments when I felt that I was completely confused and did not understand anything. But I was able to figure everything out thanks to the competent presentation of information in video tutorials and the help of the SheCodes team. Wat seemed intimidating at the beginning of the course turned out to be clear at the end.
SheCodes Plus was much challenging as compared to SheCodes Basic. Even then, the advantage of SheCodes courses is that we can re-watch the videos, and we are able to get great help from the SheCodes Team on the Slack channel, who answer our questions ever so patiently and promptly. It is also great that Matt will explain the rationale behind certain concepts and some good practices, rather than just step-by-step theory. It is a sense of achievement and joy when we see the codes work properly! Lastly, it is inspiring and fun to browse the projects of other students! Thank you SheCodes Team!
I knew about SheCodes for years, for some unknown reason i thought it was only for a certain age. When i looked a lot more into it after wanting to do this for a long time, i learned that it was for every age range. I immediately took the introduction course, immediately signed up for the course. I'm so glad i did! Very easy to follow and i love how i can always go back and review a video if i got confused at any point. I can't wait to continue to learn and code!

Very easy to understand videos with plenty of tips and tricks to help you figure things out on your own. It definitely came to together for me doing the project at the end of the three weeks.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Plus course and working on the final project - it really helped me to consolidate my knowledge of Javascript and built my confidence in my ability to code on my own! The Slack channels were really helpful for discussing problems and getting quick responses, and I also found it helped to be able to read through other people's questions and see their code. Being able to work on all the mini-challenges without worrying about failing or being assessed, but knowing there were solution videos accessible if I got stuck, also made a big difference to feeling like I was free to see how far I could get on my own and helped build my confidence in my own abilities.
Great balance between information given in videos and knowledge a student must find on her own. Greatly structured cheatsheets and good recommendations on sources to be used to fill in the gaps.
I truly love how the class were being conducted, even though the videos were pre-recorded but everything that was inside was very relatable. I love the challenges that were given too.
SheCodes has an awesome platform! It was so easy to follow along with the videos and the corresponding challenges. Having a solution video made me feel less anxious about not getting the full solution the first time. Highly recommend!

Honestly can't believe I learnt so much in 3 weeks. I feel like a tech guru already. The video clips were detailed and very explanatory. SheCodes team helped me to learn easily with practice, step by step. None of the video lessons made me bored, they just could not - the length, the amount of info is perfect for a video lesson to me. Most of the lessons are paired with assignments, so it was a good way for me not to escape practicing, but instead find myself actually coding and creating pieces of web pages from the air - an amazing feeling, I was happy to come up with a working piece of code every time as a kid! Enormous support on every single question from thousands of students - responses received daily, timely, and warmly. I enjoyed learning coding with SheCodes a lot, with them it's super easy to achieve results.
Frankly speaking, this course was a bit challenging for me, but definitely worth it. All the video lessons created by Matt are incredible and full of knowledge. I can't imagine that I'm able to create a real-time weather project now. I'm really grateful to Matt and all the SheCodes team!!!
