This course was extremely fun to complete. The educational videos were easy to follow and with a good number of homework exercises to guarantee that we would put into practice everything that we were learning. This is a great way to learn how to code and I recommend to everyone. I'm very proud of my final project as I would never imagine I would be able to build something like this when I started the course with zero code knowledge or experience. Thank you!!

I watched all the videos of the class and passed 3 weeks as well, I did all the challenges and projects of the end of per section. I love codingπ so thank you SheCodes, also I suggested this workshop to my sister and her friend, because this workshop is very useful and conveyed information easily. I learned html, CSS and JavaScript in just 3 weeks.

I think this course is a great way to figure out if you want to dive deeper into this topic. I really enjoyed the provided videos for self-paced learning. The instructions were easy to follow.
Matt's tutorials are not only thorough, but they're well-organized so that they build off of each other. Week 1 was all excitement as I realized that the HTML I learned 20 years ago in high school had still been bouncing around in my skull somehow. Adding CSS on top of it was a piece of cake, and the course lays everything out for you one step at a time. Week 2 was all JavaScript, which was brand new to me. There were times I got tangled in my own code during a challenge, but I was never frustrated because it was so simple to go through that week's threads and see if anyone else had similar problems in the past. If so, there were always helpful students and teachers ready to give solutions and help work out the issue. I came here from trying to trudge through Coursera's Google IT certification courses, but I was really struggling and kind of worried that maybe I wasn't quite 'smart enough' for a new career tech or something. However, based on how easily I adapted and absorbed the SheCodes training, I think it's just the different approach Matt brings, which is more visual learning (since he has his code in the video right in front of you so that you can pause it and follow along in your own session of VSCode,) in addition to the small challenges at the end of each lesson, which helps you practice and cement the coding you just learned. Aside from the videos, there are all kinds of learning/coder aids, such as cheat-sheets, color palettes, and CSS generators. Fantastic program. I'm so glad I took a chance from the beginning and signed up for SheCodes Pro. I'm ready to rock the rest of this program and have an exciting, fulfilling career. FINALLY! Thank you, Matt!
I really love how easy to learn and how the videos were relatively short. It helped a lot in keeping my attention and motivation up. This is a great class for testing your interests and making coding seem less daunting. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent course! After each video lesson, it seems that everything is very simple - and that I can do everything easily, but in fact, it turns out that everything is more complicated than it seems at first glance. What I especially liked in the course is that CSS, HTML and JavaScript are not studied separately from each other - but in interaction with each other - when you understand how one or another element can be used in practice - such information is remembered much better. Thank you for the interesting course and for the prompt support in Slack!
This was one of my favorite courses so far! I loved to be able to create and design my own portfolio to showcase the work I've done so far. I enjoyed playing around with the endless possibilities of Bootstrap and CSS to make my portfolio as responsive as possible. And as always, Matt was very clear and helpful in the videos. I look forward to learning React π€©!
It's really greet that most of the time is invested in coding rather than learning since the videos are really on point, also it gives you a chance to learn while coding too!!!

this is the third course I have completed and I can only say wonderful things! Matt teaches in an easy to understand way, the videos are very complete, the help when needed in Slack is always very good and anyone who hasn't taken any SheCodes course, MUST DO IT!!! I hope to have my first opportunity in the job market soon, as I already feel prepared by SheCodes.
Great and funny course! The videos were easy to follow. You can go at your own pace, and the challenges are significant to learn step by step. I had some knowledge of HTML but the Basics course helped me to put all the pieces together. Matt was reassuring and this didn't make me feel alone in my frustration. Plus, SheCodes has all the tools you need (the radio feature is awesome!)
I cannot understate how much I have learned in the past 8 weeks. There has been some moments of stress but the SheCodes team are so helpful and the videos so instructive that it is impossible to lose interest. Highly recommend SheCodes Responsive. This workshop really challenged me using HTML & CSS, but especially my creative brain. The video's were straightforward and easy to follow.
I had zero experience with coding and it is all so much clearer to me now! There are some tough concepts to learn, but Matt does a great job explaining them. I also love that I can watch the videos as many times as I need. I am a teacher and will teach coding to my students this year now that I feel more comfortable helping my students if and when they get stuck with our own programs.
SheCodes Plus was a great experience. I really enjoyed the step-by-step videos showing how to make your code more functional and clear, as well as learning more about API and the GitHub workflow. I'm looking forward to taking the Pro and React courses next.

SheCodes helped me to fall in love with programming :) The biggest benefit of this course is that you can produce something after only 10 minutes of videos --> that really gives you extra zeal to go further and learn more.

Passing these courses is like a magic trip to creating web sites. Information is given in a clearest way. There's no boring lectures and practice not connecting to reality. We made real stunning projects. Working projects which could appear in google search very often. The most complicated things are explained in the easiest way. Mr Matt is very, very good at coaching! How could I live without his videos and teaching??!!!π I feel stronger and more acquainted in such a new professional line for me. SheCodes's changed my life and this is about me: "She Codes")))))
These past 3 weeks were truly incredible. I did not know anything about coding and I was able to learn so much step by step. The videos explained things very nicely and I never felt confused or uncertain. Practice and all is coming :)
The SheCodes Basics Workshop has made coding a fun and easy skill to learn! I appreciate all of the lessons (and videos) that were created for this workshop. All of the steps were very clear throughout the lessons in each week.
I always thought coding would never be something I would be able to do, until I found SheCodes! I learn through seeing and doing, so having videos of Matt explaining what he's doing step by step was a huge help! I can now add my projects to my UI/UX portfolio, and apply my new understanding of coding to my work with developers.
I honestly was not sure I would be able to learn coding. Ive watched videos on youtube just to be left feeling confused and defeated. This week after just 2 weeks of learning, I created my own webpage and I am so proud of myself.
Short concise videos, by a benevolent instructor. Recommend if you have time to absorb new material at a fast pace. He allows his students to think for themselves and use the search engine of their choice to become resourceful in finding their answers to their questions. I didn't need to use the Slack chat because everything was well explained underneath the lesson video or in the solutions. Thank you, good luck out there to everyone!

This was a really great workshop that ended with a very applicable and useful final project- a personal website to display our work/projects. I really enjoyed the pace of the course and liked how the last week was broken down - one video/lesson per piece of the project. It made a large project feel manageable :) And by the last video/assignment, the project was basically done! Would recommend this course to anyone looking to sharpen their skills at making responsive websites.

I have actually managed to create my own Weather App, fully functional and everything! Learning API calling and integration was the most fun of all. Matt's videos are so impressively thought through in that he helps you build code one piece at a time and make connections between functions in the same way the mind tries to see patterns. I liked following along to the video tutorials, and also seeing my classmates finished projects in the slack channel. I could compare my work and get ideas from others, and also go at my own pace. I like that I can network with other SheCodes alumni on linkedin, it's a very welcoming and inclusive group. I now have a solid portfolio to fill with projects as I continue to build sites and apps.

I've wanted to learn about coding for a long time now and I'm grateful to have had this opportunity to learn the basics with SheCodes. The video lessons are easily digestible and I was surprised at how fast I was about to create a webpage from scratch. I loved the SheCodes Responsive Workshop. It was so fun to work with the project. The instructions and videos are really clear and I had no difficulties at all.
The course is well structured, so you'll start from baby-steps, but finish with a quite nice result :) Instructions are easy to follow and videos describe everything you need at the current stage. And if you stuck or want to clarify something, you won't wait for ages to get reply.

I am a person who has 0 experience in coding. I took a class in SQL/Python and spent months confused and embarrassed. I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram and was very intimidated, but determined to gain more skills. The resources are easily accessible and short enough to re-watch as many times as I needed to. I learned new things in every video, and even in the first free meeting. The community on Slack is attentive, responsive, and encouraging. I feel like the team here really wants everyone to grow. Each time I asked for help, I felt like the suggestions were kind and genuine. I never felt belittled. I seriously appreciate SheCodes and will take the rest of the courses. I am already recommending this to the women around me. Best money I have spent in a very long time.
SheCodes Plus pushed me to my limit and further! There were quite a few times where I wanted to give up but I went back and rewatched Matt's videos as many times as it took until the concept stuck and I could replicate or make changes on my own. Seeing my fully functioning weather app after only a few weeks of lessons and knowing I can add or change anything I want is such an amazing feeling! I can't wait to move onto Responsive and see what comes next.
What an AWESOME program! I'm usually an in-person learner but the SheCodes format makes learning and (most importantly) *practicing* these new concepts so easy. The short video format let me squeeze in as much practice as I wanted any time of the day. The structured challenges helped me memorize each new bit of coding before I was given the opportunity to create something original and fun with it. I had a blast creating my final project (I had been scoping out everyone's web pages and brainstorming from day 1), and I can't wait to start the next workshop!
At first, coding seemed very intimidating! But after the Basic SheCodes Workshop, I feel relaxed about continuing to learn coding. I enjoy the step-by-step videos and how the curriculum is set up weekly.

I really enjoyed SheCodes. The videos are easy to undserstand and for beginners, you learn the basics and get into practice in no time. I have split feelings about reaching the end of my SheCodes journey! On one hand I am proud of my accomplishment but on the other hand I am sad that I have no more challenges to do! I have really enjoyed learning all about coding and in particular, React. The videos have been clear and very informative, I love Matt's style of teaching, and if I've ever had a problem the SheCodes team have been on hand to help and are so kind and supportive with it too . I have found my new passion and I'm so keen to continue with my own independent learning in the hopes of becoming a React Developer at some point. I will be keeping an eye on SheCodes and signing up to any future courses they create! Thank you so much for sparking my interest and opening up a whole new world for me. I really feel like it has changed my life and future prospects.
I loved learning with Matt. All the lessons are explained in an understandable, simple language and the thing that worked for me well was to immediately get an exercise after a learning video. So you practice what you have just been taught. Works great for me!

The SheCodes Plus workshop is a great experience! I enjoyed building my own project and it was broken down in such a way that made it easy and enjoyable to follow. Even though some parts were difficult, such as learning how to integrate the API, the videos make it easy to follow along and understand.
SheCodes Basic was so helpful for me as I am completely new to coding. Matt's video's broke everything down really simply and the video's were so easy to follow. It was great to have the homework, challenge and project tasks to help cement the learning I had done and was really fun and exciting to try out the different methods I had learnt! I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone who wants to learn coding for the first time!

I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus and am impressed at how much is learned during this course. The course was challenging, but the lessons are explained clearly. I really how you have to complete a challenge after each video, as this gives you a chance to put your knowledge straight into practice!
I've taken lots of online classes before but SheCodes is easily one of the best! Unlike other courses where I inevitably lost interest, the weekly deadlines kept me accountable. The challenges accompanying the lessons also made sure I was actively learning, rather than just passively watching the video and moving onto the next. I'm so excited by everything I've learnt so far (I think it might be the first time in 31 years I've actually been excited to complete my homework?!) and can't wait to keep studying with SheCodes.
The SheCodes workshops teach at a manageable pace and the content is clear to understand. As I am a visual learner I found the workshop videos easy to follow and engaging. Over the last 3 weeks I have learned so much about the foundations of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The short videos with challenges right after allowed me to apply what I just learnt while moving at a pace that worked for me to let everything really sink in. I found coding very intimidating before, but now I'm excited to continue learning about more complex topics!

SheCodes Plus workshop is amazing. JavaScript can be intimidating however, Matt does a good job of explaining the logic of writing code. The videos are easy to follow. I would highly recommend.
Really enjoyed the course and learned a lot from Matt, however, the video content and explanations could do with updating. I also don't think 5 hours per week is enough if you're just starting out as it takes a while to actually learn / remember things.

The live video recordings give the best sense of real-time instruction, and the Slack chat assistance that all students have access to does help you feel connected to a source of help. This course has probably been the best source for learning code at one's own pace. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone looking to get into coding.
I like that I can work at my own pace, but there are homework/project deadlines for accountability, but can be extended if needed. Matt does a great job explaining his videos as he goes along. The support has been great with the sheCodes when you get stuck. I also like that after you submit your homework and projects there is a solution video to help you correct any mistakes or improve your work.
I love how SheCodes structure their lesson and it was easy to understand. Before I thought code is very hard and scary to learn but with SheCodes made me realize coding can be learned. With Implementation after each video, I was able to understand it better, and give me more confidence in coding.
