Great videos with explanations. Very cool course
This course has been so interesting, challenging and a lot of fun. It's frustrating at times but the best feeling when you finally figure out what is going wrong. I love the way the course is organised and that you can always refer back to previous videos. Couldn't recommend this course enough for anyone interested in starting out in coding :)

I wanted to know if I like programming. I always thought it was super difficult. But it turns out everyone can do it! Videos and classes do not take up most of your time, but give you a maximum of basic knowledge. And the mentor is cute :)
SheCodes has been phenomenal in helping me understand the basics of code. Initially, I had no idea where to start, but Matt does a great job in guiding his students through easy-to-follow, bite-size videos that are very informative and help with creating one's own code. I would highly recommend this to a friend, and am looking forward to learning more through SheCodes!
It was wonderful to learn with SheCodes. I appreciate the ready support whenever I have questions and through the videos, I learned the languages but also the diverse ways in which your logic can be applied to arrive at different functioning solutions.
SheCodes Basics was an excellent intro into HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I went from 0 coding knowledge to being able to build a webpage in 3 weeks! The videos are the perfect length to not lose focus!

If someone has doubts, then discard them, since the organization of everything is at the highest level and you will always be helped in case of any difficulties. Thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes Team! I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop. This course is great for beginner coders, but also helps refreshing your memory in case your last encounter with html, CSS & Javascript has been a while back. I especially liked that you can take the course at your own pace, but are still motivated to push forward due to the homework deadlines. If you encounter any problems or have questions you have a great community of other coders welcome you to the class and help you with any problems. Also, the SheCodes Team itself is there to answer questions if one is in need. The review of the homework is done rather quick, so you receive your feedback quite fast. Most of the tasks I found relatively easy to handle due to the good explanations in the workshop videos. And with some more challenging tasks in between you really had to learn how to research answers by yourself which in my opinion prepares you well for the future as lots of times, you'll have to research how certain things are done. I am very motivated to continue deepening my skills and feel that I have a good foundation to build further knowledge upon.
This work shop was definitely challenging but at the same time very rewarding. I got stuck a lot especially in JavaScript, but watching the instruction videos helped immensely when I couldn't debug my code by myself. Seeing my weather app work in real time as I integrated the API and seeing the final results of my hard was very satisfying.
It was an interesting and fun workshop! I learned a lot of new information. The lessons are interesting and short, and most importantly, the video only needs information. It was necessary to solve interesting tasks and create the first site.

I never thought I could learn how to code. I had always assumed that it was "too difficult" for me. This workshop was not only fun, but super informative! I love that it is self paced, but it still gives you flexible deadlines which really motivated me to complete things in a timely manner. I like that you can complete your assignments/challenges and watch the videos when ever you like, as long as your homework is turned in on time. Overall, I felt that this was a great workshop for beginners (like myself) and I really feel like I have learned so much! I am so excited to continue learning through SheCodes! I would 100% recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in coding.
I highly recommend taking the SheCodes Basic workshop. It was very helpful and taught me the basics of coding. It was very easy to follow and perfect for anyone who wants to dip their toes into programming! The videos and homework helped me put my skills into practice. Matt explained everything really well and it was really fun to learn. Im excited to learn more and hone in on my skills. I am a college student studying Computer Science and this help put me ahead of the game. I definitely will be going into my sophomore year with more experience. It is totally worth the money!!

Great workshop but do expect (and it's normal) to do your own individual work and reasearch extensively on google whatever you need to understand more in depth. And don't forget to check out the source code after each video, it's a great source of learning!
It's the best workshop for people who have never learnt any coding. The structure, short videos, challenges, homeworks are absolutely awesome! But also I want to mark a high level of support and attention, which is given to everyone. Light atmosphere encourages styding, SheCodes Radio is also amazing addition which makes the process of codying very fun and increases my mood!
An engaging and entertaining workshop! I really enjoyed getting to learn from the best. The videos are extremely detailed and thought-through; the tasks are challenging yet doable; I'm surprised by how much I know now after just the Basics course.
The course is certainly designed for beginners and it's fantastic! I believe that anyone can go through it, you just need to find the desire and time. The videos are engaging and clear. The basic workshop was really well done for a first approach of coding. The videos are easy to understand and not overwhelming. I recommend it.
This workshop was very engaging. The videos were very informative. One thing that I would strongly recommend, as was suggested, is to not pause for too long during the lessons. Sometimes you forget the basic structures and elements. I had a lot of fun completing the assignments and learned a lot more about coding.
It`s my first experience with coding π» and the reality exceeded my expectations! π€β¨ The studying process is highly interactive, fun, and engaging π! Video lessons are short, informative, and clear. I've always wanted to learn how to code but I didn't know how and where to start. SheCodes workshop provided me with short and clear explanation videos along with a mini challenge to check my understanding. SheCodesPlus was a great way to utilize and build upon the skills learned from the basics course. This course is well structured and the step-by-step videos are super helpful in breaking down each skill into manageable & "do-able" parts. This whole experience has been both challenging and rewarding for me. I love that I can work on this when my kids are at school. I enjoyed SheCodes Basics course as it's structured in a way that you could learn in your own pace, with videos of each lesson rarely more than 10mins. There are times when I just couldn't find enough time to work on homework/projects but you could extend the deadline and complete it later. You'll lost track of time easily when you code because it's so fun! I personally enjoy it overall.
I never knew I wanted to get into coding, until I watched the free class video for SheCodes. I was instantly drawn in, and for good reason! I couldn't have asked for a better introduction into coding. If you're having doubts about signing up for this program, just do it!! SheCodes has been a great starting point for learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I was exposed to HTML and CSS through University which sparked my interest but there was a lot of assumed knowledge and I found myself scraping all sorts of things together for my assessments. I wish Iβd found SheCodes earlier as I have a great basic understanding of these languages now. Matts videos are easy to listen to and understand and the tasks are just challenging enough but not overwhelming. Matts teaching style makes me excited to continue to learn more π
I have loved every minute of my SheCodes course and learned a lot of new skill. The mix of videos, tasks and also explaining the solutions has provided a great range of learning tools. The Slack channel for around the clock support is also great as you can ask queries and get a fast response if something is not quite working as you expected. I did not use this a lot but on the 2 occasions I did I received very useful answers in a friendly and timely manner. I feel a lot more confident coding now and look forward to progressing my career with the help of SheCodes!
Having completed the basic & plus courses, I was excited to take the next step. I'm so pleased with my final project, it looks very professional and I'm feeling confident in my responsive coding abilities. The step-by-step videos were easy to follow.

Thank you for another great workshop! The techniques I learned in SheCodes Responsive definitely improved my fluency with CSS and HTML and lent greater overall sophistication to my code. The workshop picks up where we left off with SheCodes Plus and builds cumulatively on prior teaching material with a well-organized curriculum that limits the number of videos per week but covers each topic on average at greater length than in prior workshops. With more people browsing on their phones these days and this trend likely to increase over time, the techniques of responsive development are essential skills for professional web developers to learn. I recommend this workshop if you want all the tools to start building multiple-page websites that will look good on nearly any device.
The course is great for the beginners: short videos (no more 15-hour long Youtube tutorials π), challenges are good. I am happy to see a result of my work at the end of each week
I've learned a lot through the online course, especially with the challenges and homework. Javascript is definitely something I need to work on, but the video classes and slack channel helped teach me the foundation.
I had an awesome experience with SheCodes Plus! I did the Basic class first and loved it so much I had to go back for more. The Plus is definitely a step up! It's much harder, but the way Matt explains everything in the videos is great. The SheCodes team members were wonderful to work with and so helpful whenever I got stuck. It was great to have an online class with real people checking over my homework. It kept me accountable for my work! I highly recommend these workshops for anyone looking for a new skill in tech.
This was another amazing journey into coding. I really enjoyed all parts of this Responsive workshop and I can't wait to start the React workshop. I'm in love with this course; the easy-to-follow short videos, and the challenging final project. Coding is really fun at SheCodes!
Videos are so helpful, the lessons are segmented nicely to allow a good flow of learning at your own pace.
I liked that the videos were short and focused. You get right to the point where you can start building your own small website. Of course the 3 weeks course only teaches the basics, but I was impressed with what I was able to do for the final project and am looking forward to the next course.

SheCodes workshops allow you to learn in your own pacing. Matt created very nice videos with commentary, explanations and he makes sure that everything is explained in human-friendly language. So even if you are a blank empty page (as I was at the beginning) do not hesitate to join the workshop. Some things are very easy and other just need more time to learn. But - if you have energy, drive and motivation - everything is possible. I am living breathing proof of that. And even if you will feel like you are lost or stuck, the team of SheCodes provides full-time support for any kind of situation. You will never feel like you are alone in this.
I really enjoyed studying! For several years I didn't start learning programming, because it seemed to me difficult and boring. And when Matt said in the video that we were going to have fun, I didn't believe it. But now I'm really having fun in class! There is a war in my country and tough moment for me and my family. Taking these courses has been both exhausting and exhilarating! First, I want to say that Matt is the bomb!! That man knows how to teach! He is so thorough and executes the lessons flawlessly. I love that in each video you learn just 1 or 2 things! That made this journey doable!! So, if any seniors out there want to learn something new, go for it! I may be 65, but I feel energized, so smart and happy. I'm taking more courses on SheCodes because I know with Matt teaching the classes that I can do it!
SheCodes Introducing to programming was super fun and very helpful! Videos and tasks help you understand the code and how it works. The format and presentation are excellent. SheCodes is one of the best online courses. When I watch videos and try to code I have to say I've been coding for hours without moving and I feel tired at all. I knew nothing about coding but now it's my fun hobby.

At the same time, I was studying in other course, there was little I understood, there were only exercise and I did not understand why they were. Great workshop for beginners. I learned so much in three weeks and created my project. The workshop's videos were short and informative which I liked too. And after each video, I had an opportunity to practice it myself. It was fascinating and not overwhelming at all.
It is definitely not an easy task. We have to pay much more attentions on the videos and homework in order to learn the challenging coding.

I've always wanted to learn and work in the tech field but regular schooling isn't for me. I just recently learned about coding bootcamps and as we all know the prices are extremely high. I was happy to come across SheCodes, the prices are great and its for women. I have time to learn code at my pace without getting too stressed, being able to re-watch any videos and search for my questions that have already been asked, I love it because I am a "do it/find it yourself kind of person. Can't wait to see what the next workshop brings.

It was a cool experience to participate in the curse. I like that the theoretical part is based on practical exercises. Great that the videos are shot and contained only useful information.
After doing the SheCodes Basics workshop, I couldn't wait to continue on to SheCodes Plus...and it did not disappoint. It was challenging at times but Matthieu makes the solution videos very easy to understand what you're having trouble with. I love that everything is still available for me to look back to in case I need a refresher and the final project is such a great real-world project that showcases all the coding you've been learning while allowing you to get creative if you want to.
The moment I started Week One/Lesson One of SheCodes Basics, I was hooked! The entire course was extremely informative and Matt does a fantastic job explaining concepts that I was otherwise having difficulty grasping. The challenges, homework and final project were a lot of fun and definitely solidified what I'd learned previously in the lesson videos!
This first 3 weeks has been easily manageable with the great short videos and with the short assignments after almost every video. I can't wait to start the next one. βΊοΈ

I was really glad that the lessons are in "bite sized" pieces because as a beginner there were lots of videos I had to rewatch to fully absorb the information. I really like that SheCodes Instructor Matt also shows you how to find other solutions and resources online.
Few years ago I took courses on JavaScript but it didn't really click. It's when I started SheCodes workshops I was fascinated and eager to learn. I couldn't have imagined I would end up here, excited to learn and have fun coding. I had watched videos and tried coding courses but it did not work out well for me because it was poorly explained and extremely confusing. I have learned so much just from SheCodes basics workshop, that completing that final project felt like a huge accomplishment. The instructor Matt, has done an amazing job putting these lessons together.
Great second course! Again there was loads of challenges and interactions that made learning easy to follow along! I love that you can watch the videos back and adjust the speed, as well as individual homework pieces that build up to the final project so it isn't so scary to submit the project at the end!

I've always felt like a have a thing for coding but never actually had the courage or time to explore this passion, until I found SheCodes! The lessons are brief, so neatly organized, logically flowing from one concept to the next. Matthieu's explanatory videos are very clear and make it easy to learn this new language. When I decided to start exploring coding a few weeks ago, I didn't expect to be able to create a complete web app from scratch. But, here it is! This course really has exceeded my expectations. The exercises were the perfect closure for each unit and the videos from Matt were a great way to learn all the different content. I tried learning js during the quarantine and loved it. I even started making my own site IlearnRussian.net However, I realized that my knowledge needs to be consolidated and sharpened by mentors, so I'm trying to find a school. JS is not an easy language to master for me, and I would love to learn from teachers. (So far I've been learning on my own). During quarantine two years ago, I watched a video, where I heard about html, googled it, didn't understand the explanation, searched it on youtube, watched videos and practiced, was surprised that it's so simple, and gradually got from html / css to js. Since I have a project I'm interested in, I started working on that. I teach foreign languages, focusing on teaching Russian for foreigners. So I started working on a site teaching Russian to foreigners (IlearnRussian.net). The things there are what I did on my own, a project I learned by watching a youtube video, or a code I googled on the internet.

I like it! In particular, the fact that after each lesson there is a task to consolidate the acquired knowledge. So you donβt just watch the video, but you immediately train and memorize.

Let me start off by saying that this experience learning from Shecodes has changed my life forever! I was never that kid who loved the computer growing up; that was my younger sister. I studied music while she went on to become a successful Program Developer. I would always watch her work and felt like it was too hard for me to ever understand; coding was out of my league. When I saw this opportunity come up, I became excited. I started reading all the stories of people who changed their careers after taking the classes and knew I wanted the same opportunity. I started with the basic introductory video, and I was HOOKED!! I found myself talking to anyone who would listen about my Shecodes experience. I called my sister, and she was so excited for me. I was asking questions about coding and weβre bonding even closer because of it. Learning something new, especially at an older age can be frightening. Iβm telling you that Shecodes is an experience that every new student should experience. Matt does an incredible job explaining the details so when its time to show your work through homework, you feel confident. Π’ΠΎ be honest I was never attracted by computer, video games or IT. It was always an extra effort for me. Something that I need to do, rather than want to. But with time I have realised that IT sphere is impossible to ignore in our times. It covers all the areas of our life, personal or professional, and in the end makes our lives more easier. So I have decided that I need to change my attitude towards it because whenever I will work I'll certainly need to deal with one or another side of IT. And here I have heard about Shecodes. At first, I was pretty sceptic about the course but I gave it a chance. And have never regretted it. It helped me to make my transition possible by making coding accessible, fun and rather easy to understand! And the team as well as the whole community were super helpful when I was stuck. So if someone wants to dive into coding from level 0, I can't imagine a better platform to do it!
