Love SheCodes! Have already learned so much, and not even through with the BootCamp! Love how the videos are kept short but precise with important info. Great for people like me who have short attention spans!

It was my first time programing and i love it! it was a very simple course with very explanatory videos that allowed you to easily understand what was required.

The videos and examples were very clear and easy to understand. The homework were fun and challenging, but was so rewarding when I get the task.

I have been amazed by how much I was able to learn in the last couple of weeks. As a complete beginner to coding and its fundamentals, I now feel bit more confident to learn more of what Shecodes has to offer. Thank you Matt for building this course, the lectures are really engaging and hands on as well, thus keeps the fun alive in all the learning videos I have gone through thus far!

I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone! The platform is easy to navigate, and the lessons are clear and concise. The videos are short yet informative, with challenges that help reinforce what you've learned. At the end of each week, there's a homework assignment that combines all the topics covered in the lessons. Plus, if you ever forget something, you can always go back and rewatch the videos at your own pace :)

Thank you for being an exceptional teacher! 💜 The final project was a great opportunity to review all the Python basics I'd learned, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This was so much fun! Matt makes things easy to understand and when I struggled, I just went back to the videos. I have barely used outside resources because he is just that good.

This part of the SheCodes workshop was quite a welcome challenge, I got to see the code come to life with both the API integration and hosting it on Netlify.When I got to the final project where I needed to add forecast data, it seemed quite daunting, but with the explanations given in the video tutorials by Matt I was able to find a way to make it work and understand it.

Good basis of more technical knowledge. However I rated this poorly because you don't learn how to actually do the final project by yourself. Matt even says numerous times in the final week's videos that the skills needed aren't taught in the course and you'll need years of experiece to learn how to do properly.

Loved this workshop! I have been "studying" Python before, but it was fun to apply it practically and learn how to build a weather app. As always, Matt is a great teacher and the videos make it easy to follow along.

An interesting add-on to Basics workshop. Very good, step-by-step guidance. I found this set of videos easier to follow, having done the Basics. Also, I've finally made use of AI Athena, which has improved the quality and efficacy of my learning experience. Great work, SheCodes team!

The responsive add-on course teaches you a few more techniques and allows you to dive even deeper into responsive by giving you the opportunity to build an entire responsive website from scratch. It allows you to use all of your previously acquired skills and put them into action. The course is definitely challenging but I like that you have the option to build your website alongside Matt or do it completely on your own without watching the videos in advance. It is a lot of learning but it is also a lot of fun to be able to build your own website and see it come to life on screens of all sizes.

A great introduction to the world of coding. The video tutorials were easy to follow and engaging and you could go at your own pace - no added pressure. i will definitely be doing the other workshop tiers if i get the chance!

The learning materials in this course are incredibly helpful, and Matt's instructional videos are so clear and well thought out. Oftentimes I found myself asking "But what about..." only for him to later cover my question. The clear explanation, practical examples and Slack support make it a great starting point or refresher for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.

I really enjoyed this workshop, though I felt a little out of my depth at times. The project is fun and I ran out of time to explore being creative but it's great following Matt's videos as it progresses.

This add-on coding course was the perfect next step after the basics! Covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML class manipulation, it was definitely more challenging, but the step-by-step breakdown and guidance made a huge difference. One of my favorite things about these courses is the ability to rewatch the training videos as many times as needed, allowing me to adjust my code while following along at my own pace. I really enjoyed the challenge, and the final project was so much fun to create! It's also fantastic that we can showcase our final projects after each course—it's a great way to see how far we've come in our coding journey while also sharing fun and interesting details about ourselves with potential employers. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to level up their coding skills!

This is a great program. I cannot believe how easy it was to understand and learn new coding languages. It is challenging and fun work! All of the challenges and homework make it easy to grab attain the skills. I love that all the videos are still there if I need them to reference back to. It really makes my problem-solving skills stand out.

I really enjoyed the Plus AI workshop! It was such a fun experience to learn how to integrate AI into a project. Working on the final project was a highlight for me, especially with the awesome video lessons that guided me every step of the way.

Taking part in this camp was a game-changer for me. The video lessons were clear and well-structured, making it easy to follow along at my own pace. I appreciated how the content built up gradually, allowing me to understand even complex concepts. The camp provided plenty of hands-on coding exercises, which helped me solidify my learning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that boosted my confidence and skills in programming.

The video tutorials were easy to follow, as well as the examples and supplemental resources that were provided. One thing that I really liked about the workshop is that the weekly assignments had due dates. This allowed me to plan out how much time I needed to dedicate each week, and it did not feel overwhelming to juggle against other priorities.

this is really a great workshop, I love that fact that the videos are short, and that you can pause to take notes, and how I can code along and even , get instant solution and a video of the solution being explain so I can see and hear where I went wrong

The workshops have been fun and engaging so far! It's nice to get a hang of things - the explanation and details in the videos have provided a lot of help.

I really enjoyed this workshop, it was fun and challenging at the same time but thats what makes it enjoyable. I love how the videos are short and too the point, which makes it easy to grasp the information.

Meeting CSS for the first time was really scary for me but I learnt that going over the tutorials videos over and over again helps me understand what I was struggling with better.

Homework assignments included tasks not covered in training. This is claimed to encourage independent learning, however I am paying money to be taught not to waste considerable time searching on Google. The education approach using the 'sink or swim' method was debunked years ago. It is unclear if the presenter is a qualified trainer. This also indicates my time is not being valued in this course. They have not updated the training videos in years. They are teaching JavaScript ES6 which was released in 2015. There have been 9 updated versions since then. Took 3 weeks for their team to respond to a message in slack. They required me to provide a public testimonial to ‘validate’ my completion certificate. This should not be required to obtain my certificate as it is not a learning outcome and if the work is completed, the certificate should be provided. Then when I initially attempted to provide a low rating, the website returned an error message (for multiple days - not a ‘connection error’ as claimed). Then it defaulted to a 5 star rating and ended up on their website even though it still appeared as an error on my end. I was contacted to provide another review on Facebook after they read my last ‘great review’. When I asked if there was a review rating attributed to me as I attempted to provide a low rating, I was advised “no”. This was a lie and my name and (incorrect 5 *) rating was on the website.

The videos, challenges and solutions have all been extremely helpful!

Continuing my journey with SheCodes React has been both rewarding and incredibly fun! This course was instrumental in helping me grasp the fundamentals of the React framework, and it was so satisfying to see what I built—a weather application in React! While React was initially tough for me, I found great comfort in how our instructor, Matt, explains each concept in such a clear and approachable way. I particularly appreciated watching him troubleshoot and refine his code, making it not only functional but also clean and elegant. The bite-sized video lessons were perfect for staying on track without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, the SheCodes team is always available to help with any questions that come up during the lessons. And of course, Athena—the AI tool—was a fantastic resource, always quick to assist with any coding challenges I faced. I’m excited to apply everything I’ve learned to my next project! 💜

I like the pace and the weekly workload of the bootcamp so far! It's not overwhelming, and the videos are simple to follow and understand. I am enjoying this :)

Nice, straight-forward project with easy to follow tutorial videos and a fun end task.

The course offers a structured approach and valuable learning materials, but my experience was impacted by a lack of responsive support. My initial start date was incorrect due to an issue on SheCodes' side, and despite reaching out multiple times, I had difficulty getting timely assistance. While the content is helpful, it consists entirely of pre-recorded videos, which felt less personal for a paid program. I expected more direct interaction and support.

Great way of learning how to code as a beginner. Great lecture videos with good exercises. I'm impressed how much I've learned in a short time period. Good support from the library with input other fellow students and the SheCodes support team in the background. It was not an easy start, but it's manageable and most important of all: It's fun. The workshops are design to help finish the lessons week by week and in each lesson their is a video how to do complete each assignment.

As before, clear instructions. The last few lessons I had the video on while working on my own project, because it was already clear what to do.

The hands-on approach made learning engaging and effective, and the videos were super easy to follow. Even the basics of programming felt approachable, and I gained valuable skills along the way. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start their programming journey! 👩‍💻💜

SheCodes Python AI workshop was a fun introduction into how to use AI in conjunction with Python. Loved building the AI travel itinerary planner, bringing together previous and new skills to create it. Throughout this course, Matt's videos and challenges were easy to follow and well organised. SheCodes lectures are short and intersting which has challenges after every video to test whatever I have learnt which is extremely helpful and engaging it was fun learning!

This has been the most difficult workshop for me personally. However, being able to rewatch the videos and getting same-day feedback on Slack helped me through it all.

I recommend the course to anyone who wants to brush up on the basics or for those just starting out. It gives you motivation and the explanations in the videos are good and easy to follow.

This was a super fun course, great for a quick refresher on HTML and Css and gave me the basics of JS. enjoy the way the videos are laid out, and the challenge for each video, it's a great way to cement the information into your brain.

SheCodes Advanced Python workshop was a great follow on from the basics workshop! Matt's video tutorials were clear and easily digestible so following along and completing challenges were simple and fun to do. Throughout this course, I was given plenty of opportunities to practise coding with Python and the final project was exciting to see a real-life example of what I had learnt in action.

Great way to discover AI and to understand how to work with it. Videos are easy to follow. I would love even more workshops on this subject but great introduction!

It has been a while since I started coding but always like a hobby. After searching for so many online tools to help me learn, SheCodes has been the best fit ever! Matt's classes are always clear, objective and precise, divided in short videos, which helped me to feel more motivated to study after work. I particularly liked how the last 5 learning videos of this course walked you through each stage of building your project. This not only reinforced new and previous learning but helped solidify my knowledge through applied practice. I appreciate the tips and alternate ways that Matt offers to achieve a coding task.

I find the explanation videos very helpful, it's a very hands-on approach. I also like that Matt shows us alternatives in some cases when things can be solved in another way. I also like that the workshop challenges you to try solving a task or problem by yourself first, before showing you the solution. That encourages you to think out of the box or try new things.

This course has been so fun to complete! The pacing was spot-on, and the bite-sized videos made learning both efficient and enjoyable. I especially loved how each lesson was immediately reinforced with hands-on exercises, making it easy to apply new skills in real time.

This course is both fun and challenging. I've learnt a lot of new things and new programs. The step by step video guide is easy to follow, and it's nice that you only need a laptop to start coding.

One of my favorite things about this course is that you are involved in the entire coding process. Even when things don't go exactly as you think and you have to try things out. It's not just a one-size-fits-all video. You get good explanations and walkthroughs of why you do different things.

I was a complete beginner with no prior knowledge when I joined this course. I now feel confident I have the knowledge, tools, and resources to create a basic webpage with some interactive functionality. I enjoyed going through the JavaScript section a lot! I gave this course 4* because I wish we had gone more in depth in JavaScript basics, before building the whole project. While Matt is a great teacher I do think the videos could have more explanations on why something is being done :) All in all, a great course to get you acquainted with the development flow and getting to build a whole project with the last weeks is very fun :)

In-depth video tutorials!

This training is very suitable for busy people as a basic introduction to Python. It is divided into short videos with practical exercises. It is paced, to the point and highly satisfying.

I'm a Wattpad reader. If I like a story, I get too addicted until I finish reading the story. SheCodes made me too addicted to keep styling. I always hear Matt saying in most of his tutorial videos that `once I start styling, I never stop`. I can totally relate to that! Wow, SheCodes, what have you done to me? You made me from a person with the impression of being scared of CSS into a CSS-addicted person. The more I learn, the more i want to style my page.

This SheCodes workshop was a great introduction into to learning Python basics. The content was clear and easy to follow thanks to Matt's bite-sized chunked tutorial videos. I was given plenty of opportunities to practise what I had learnt through the challenges and weekly homeworks. I'm looking forward to the next step of completing the Python Advanced workshop to learn more.

This is such an enjoyable way of learning to code, I am so happy that I have started the Basic course, and continuing to SheCodes Plus. I find the videos very clear and detailed and easy to learn from them, always can stop and go back to something to understand it better and practice. It is really helpful to use the Slack messaging platform to ask for assistance and get some advice on some of my challenges.

This felt like it was still on the basic level. There were too many mistakes from the instructor in the videos, making it distracting.

In-depth, detailed video tutorials yet short, sweet, and to the point!

Editing HTML with CSS has always been a nightmare for me. I am not a web designer and neither am I a theory person. So some external training videos and articles only increased my anxiety so I stopped trying to learn HTML and CSS. I have always been in the backend development only. In Matt's tutorial videos, the placement of div, and the way to use inspect to see where my padding/margin issues are, it was mind-blowing and made a lot of sense. With Matt's video, I was able to understand the theory without even trying harder. I'm amazed at myself when I can easily build a landing page. Of course with some additional resource references, but hey, it's still great progress for me! Kudos to me for trusting SheCodes and kudos to the SheCodes team for turning my wish list into a reality!
