It has been such an interesting course, the learning videos are clear and well structured between topics, and even without any prior knowledge of coding, it is easy to follow and I feel like I have learnt a lot only in 3 weeks! Recommended for anyone wanting to learn something new!

This course helped me understand all the basics I needed. Now I'm able to write CSS and HTML with basic JS which can help me start building a site . I really enjoyed the little challenges after each video , they made me test my ability and find my problems.

This course was very well explained and broken down, the information was really easy to process. Perfect workshop for someone with zero previous knowledge about coding. Short but well precise video lessons. After each lesson there is a challenge to complete, great way to put into practice what has been learned.
SheCodes Plus is a really nice way to dive into code by teaching complex features in HTML, CSS, and especially Javascript. The videos give a smooth path to follow and the challenges really help to assess and anchor progress. The big plus compared to other ways to learn is the dedicated slack: the possibility of getting the help of the SheCodes team when feeling stuck keeps the motivation level high throughout the weeks. I am grateful I took this program which not only developed my skills but made me discover a new world I'm actually very interested in :)
I love SheCodes workshop!!! This was fun and easy way to learn coding. I learned a little bit when I took web design class in college but, it was difficult to understand. Taking this workshop, watching the videos, doing the challenges, and homework made it help. I recommend anyone to take this workshop. I want to say thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for this experience!
I am very happy that I've enrolled and done this class, I've really learned a lot during the timeframe, and the short video lesson format made it very flexible to study and very easy to stay focus and optimize the learning time.
This class was tough but Matt explained everything in a way that made it easier to understand. I have to admit I did watch some of the videos more than once ... or twice. I cannot believe how much I learned. Great class!

I was so nervous at the beginning, but the SheCodes workshops have been broken down to be super easy to follow. Not only that, the videos, resources, and global community are always there to help along the way. I love that Matt encourages you to do your own research too! This course was *so much fun*! Challenging at times, sure, but never too much so because I knew that if I ever needed it, help was just a simple click away. Matt's videos were helpful and fun and the Slack community would respond to any question I had, no matter how stupid it was, within a couple of hours. I always thought that coding was hard. That was until i took the initiative to sign up for shecodes. The community on slack is absolutely amazing!! Everyone is helpful and learning is easy!! I had a great 3 weeks learning to code using Matt's simple and effective videos. As a business analyst, I work with Software Developers and have always been interested in understanding more about what they do (and what they are talking about in meetings!). This has given me a great, basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
SheCodes Plus was not easy but I learnt so much from this course and it gave me an edge over my classmates in my engineering course. Matt was a great teacher and his videos were very easy to understand. The programmers in slack were also very helpful in answering all my questions. I hope that this will be of help when I apply for my professional internship.
This course was amazing, I really felt like I got a good grasp and handle on advanced JavaScript, which is quite difficult. The video tutorials made everything easy to understand and follow and I'm very proud of the weather app I built from scratch.

Coding is fun! This is what I learnt from the whole lessons. Sometimes it took me time to understand what the tutorial videos explained, but I actually enjoyed the 'trial and error' time at each challenge and homework :) Thank you for giving me the opportunity!
SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to front-end development for me. Although I'd rather have live classes, so it would feel more interactive, Matt's videos were clear and to the point, and I had no issues solving my doubts by searching the documentation. This is an awesome workshop for someone who wants to dive in to HTML, CSS and JavaScript if they don't have that much experience!
So far I have really enjoyed the weekly workshops. Matt explains things clearly and it's nice to go back and rewatch the videos if I feel like I need to refresh. I am happy I found SheCodes. Moving on to SheCodes Plus.
I'm so proud of myself for finishing this project, it was definitely not hard to do, Matt's explaining videos are so good! doing the project step by step helps a lot to understand everything and not getting overwhelmed with information.

The SheCodes Basics workshop was really fun! I was surprised how much I looked forward to watching the videos and completing the challenges. It felt really empowering to understand something I had always assumed just wasn't "for me". Women are rarely encouraged to explore areas like coding so I really appreciated this environment and safe space. The problem-solving and creative elements were my favourites...I spent a lot of time playing with colour gradients for my final project! I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone looking to explore something new!

SheCodes is an easy way to learn to code. Matt explains it well. And when I didn't completely understand the explanation in the video's, luckily a search on the internet made it clear. I really loved doing the final project; it all came together and I could spend hours without watching an instruction or making homework. The final project is a great one to check if you understood it all <3

I really enjoyed the SheCodes experience. The combination of videos that you can watch on the demand, the Slack community to ask questions, and the weekly assignments made me push through. I had no experience when I started this workshop with SheCodes. Already the introduction workshop increased my interest. The explanation videos have a perfect length and are super easy to follow. I had zero knowledge and no experience coding, but I was curious and wanted to try it one day. After my 40th birthday I wanted to try something totally new, and this was the best choice ever! Although it was not easy, and I had repeat the videos several times until I got it, I really enjoy coding now! Sometimes I forget to stop coding :) I canΒ΄ t wait for the next chapter!
Before the SheCodes Basic Workshop, I had never done anything remotely related to coding. I was really surprised how easily I could absorb the complex information from the short video lectures. SheCodes is a fun and interactive way to get started with web development and programming. Matt is a great teacher who explains things in a very simple way. The course consists of several videos by Matt which are followed by relevant challenges. If you have never written a line of code before in your life like me, then this is a good place to get started.

I started this workshop knowing nothing about coding, but I now feel confident in my coding skills! I loved the self-paced as it fits right in with my busy schedule. I have a hard time focusing on videos, but these interactives, straight-to-the-point made it easier for me to focus and learn.

Matt has an incredibly skilled way of breaking things down into bite sized pieces and making coding easy. I love that he doesn't just focus on teaching the coding concepts, but also on how to be resourceful if you do run into trouble (ie. even the most experienced coders Google things! You do not need to memorize every language). He doesn't edit his typos out of the videos-- which is also comforting, because it demonstrates that no matter how good the coder is, mistakes happen and that's ok. I signed up for the full package, and I'm very much looking forward to continuing on! :)

In the past, I've had a bad experience with coding as I found it boring however after signing up to SheCodes, my perspective on coding has changed to view it as a fun way to express your creativity on the internet. Matt's videos have made the learning experience all the more enjoyable to learn about coding!

I can't recommend this course enough. 2 months ago I knew nothing about coding and have now been able to build a fully functioning search site. I really enjoyed how the course is broken down into short videos with a theme for the week as it helps you build your skills over time. I found the content challenging but there was also a great feeling of satisfaction when I finally understood something. Also, the community they have build is amazing. Everyone is so quick to respond to queries on Slack and it's great to be able to see what everyone else is building and how they got there.
I first learned about SheCodes through an online ad and joined the free coding class and was highly interested. So I decided to enroll in the SheCodes Basics course. I had zero experience with coding and the programming languages and thought that coding would be inaccessible. But I learned the basics in a fun and didactic way. I especially loved the way how each lesson was divided into a basic information video and the challenge where I had to apply the basics directly. That helped me to understand each new concept before moving on to the next. I can't wait to study more with SheCodes!
This experience has flown by so much quicker than expected! I am grateful to have participated in SheCodes, and can honestly say I have learnt so much. The videos were easy to follow and 100% understandable, making learning 3 languages so much easier than anticipated. I think it's such an important skill to have, so I would recommend everyone to give it a go!
The three weeks of Basic coding was sufficient and easy to follow with demo videos, materials and useful tips. I enjoyed the fun challenges for every necessary function mentioned in CSS, HTML and JS. Now, I feel more motivated to continue with the rest of the workshops.

I loved the flexibility of this course. Being able to set my own schedule and work at my own pace was one of the reasons I wanted to get into coding in the first place. Mixing art & technical skills was another. So far, I'm absolutely loving what this new career path is giving me--freedom to work wherever, whenever I want, and purpose/drive that is extremely fulfilling for my brain. Love this class! The way Matt explains it is so easy to understand and follow. I enjoyed actively practicing my new skills after each video, and very much enjoyed putting together my final project.
Matt is a great teacher! It is easy to follow along with him because he helps you to understand why a particular code works best. After you turn in your work, you get to watch a video that explains a possible solution. The video also addresses common errors.
I want to say thank you to the instructors that assisted in videos and slack and I'm glad to refresh my memory in these 3 areas.

What a great challenge this course is! It's definitely a lot to take in but the lessons and exercises are set out in a way that help you understand each new concept before moving on to the next. The team are amazing at responding promptly to queries on Slack - an invaluable resource. As Matt keeps saying in the videos "this is powerful stuff"! It is certainly amazing to discover how much can be done with just a few lines of code. Feels like magic! Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the next stage (might take a wee break first, though!).

I've always wanted to start coding. I've tried several (actually countless) online courses and unfortunately nothing was able to keep my attention for so long. In those, there are no interactions, no community. The most you can interact with those classes are by pressing play and pause on a video player - which might work for a few people but not for me. SheCodes is different. There's a community, there's support. They indeed start from scratch and that makes programming quite possible. And honestly, for me, this hasn't been only a life changing course but also an amazing self-confidence exercise. If you are reading this, you definitely can do it, girl!
What an adventure it has been learning from SheCodes! I could not believe how many skills I learned in a rather short period of time. Each assignment creates a space to practice what we learned in the videos. I loved how I was able to ask questions and connect with classmates in a separate service. It was great to have some extra support or be able to ask a question if I was feeling confused. With having many people, from many countries to talk and learn from, there was always someone or something that helped me understand our lessons deeper. I am grateful that each lesson is a video, which can be rewatched and paused as well as the Caption option since I have impaired hearing. I highly recommend these workshops to anyone who is interested in coding and wants to explore this digital side of creativity.

You can learn coding easily if you want and try. You can watch lesson's video, do challenges and ask questions every time you are confused. Every lesson teaches you clearly the subject and after doing the challenges, you will understand them very well.

Being furloughed, I was interested in growing my skill set to potentially change fields. I wanted to give coding a try knowing it plays a major role in nearly all businesses. I had no prior knowledge in coding and, honestly, i'm not even great with technology/computers in general and I was able to LEARN SO MUCH and felt so supported. Don't get me wrong there were times i got super frustrated, but the video tutorials were super helpful along side the support team you can ask questions to at anytime. Thats ultimately what led to my success in finishing the course, and i'm so glad I did.

I have always wanted to get into coding but didn't know where to start or what direction to go in. The SheCodes workshop gave me a starting point. This was a great course to complete to dip your feet into front end development. The videos were easy to follow along with and I liked the mini challenges along the way that helped me cement my learnings. At first I was pretty unsure if I could manage this. But with Matt's comprehensive tutorials (and multiple rewinds of the videos) I've managed to build a website from scratch. In the end I didnt have to look up everything, which showed me that I had indeed improved and retained some knowledge. Highly recommended.
Great 3 week short course, I've learn't so much, and I'm very happy with what I have achieved. Matt is great explaining and I love that I can replay the videos and do the tasks at my own pace. SheCodes was an amazing experience for me! The videos and assignments were straightforward and fun to do. I definitely feel more confident about my coding skills and know that my newly acquired skills will help me advance my career.
This workshop is harder than the Basics workshop because there is a lot more to learn. I do not recommend binging the videos for this workshop in one day because the challenges and homework are more time-consuming and more difficult to complete. I advise taking notes and for videos that do not include challenges, I recommend doing the example shown in the video alongside Matt.
I recommend the course to all new people in the IT world. Videos are helpful, easy to understand for everyone. I am grateful to you, Matt and the all group!

I was really impressed by this course. I've always been a bit intimidated by coding, but SheCodes is awesome! Rather than just giving you a bunch of video lessons where you're trying to absorb a ton of new information with out really putting any of it to use, SheCodes provides a challenge with each lesson. I loved the accountability these challenges provided, plus putting my knowledge to the test helped to make sure I was really absorbing all the information.
