The comprehensive video lessons made the learning process interesting, especially for beginners.

It has been a while since I started coding but always like a hobby. After searching for so many online tools to help me learn, SheCodes has been the best fit ever! Matt's classes are always clear, objective and precise, divided in short videos, which helped me to feel more motivated to study after work. Now I effectively learn some Javascript and expect to learn so much more with the next steps!

Matt Delac is a great teacher and helped me understand basic html, css and JavaScript coding in a few video lessons something I likely wouldn't achieve reading e-books. I wish Matt writes a book on coding! Thanks sheCodes for giving me an opportunity to learn.

I particularly liked how the last 5 learning videos of this course walked you through each stage of building your project. This not only reinforced new and previous learning but helped solidify my knowledge through applied practice. I appreciate the tips and alternate ways that Matt offers to achieve a coding task.

I find the explanation videos very helpful, it's a very hands-on approach. I also like that Matt shows us alternatives in some cases when things can be solved in another way. I also like that the workshop challenges you to try solving a task or problem by yourself first, before showing you the solution. That encourages you to think out of the box or try new things.

This course has been so fun to complete! The pacing was spot-on, and the bite-sized videos made learning both efficient and enjoyable. I especially loved how each lesson was immediately reinforced with hands-on exercises, making it easy to apply new skills in real time.

I've really enjoyed learning more with Plus Add-on, following Matt through the videos step by step on how to code has been so helpful and easy. It's helped me to gain the knowledge that I need but also at my own pace. So excited to continue learning more!

I am so excited to have completed SheCodes Plus, I have learned a lot more about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API, GIT, VCode, hosting a website, how to start a project and build on it incrementally. I signed up for the SheCodes basics workshop as I was interested in learning something new and really enjoyed it! The precise, short video sequences and clear explanations made it easy to learn and fit into my schedule.

For someone who has zero experience, I really enjoyed this workshop. Videos wernt too long but they held valuable information to learn new skills. This is only the beginning for me and I hope to carry the knowledge learned to my next steps

SheCodes Plus was a challenging but very rewarding experience! The lessons were well-structured, making complex concepts easy to understand thanks to Matt Delac’s teaching style. I felt this workshop was a big step forward in my web development journey, and I am now much more confident in my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. Some concepts can be tough, but the amount of information in each video is well-balanced so you can learn effectively without feeling overwhelmed. This course is both fun and challenging. I've learnt a lot of new things and new programs. The step by step video guide is easy to follow, and it's nice that you only need a laptop to start coding.

One of my favorite things about this course is that you are involved in the entire coding process. Even when things don't go exactly as you think and you have to try things out. It's not just a one-size-fits-all video. You get good explanations and walkthroughs of why you do different things.

I was a complete beginner with no prior knowledge when I joined this course. I now feel confident I have the knowledge, tools, and resources to create a basic webpage with some interactive functionality. The video lessons were easy to follow and Matt does an excellent job of teaching the technical side of things while breaking it all down and making it incredibly easy to understand.

I enjoyed going through the JavaScript section a lot! I gave this course 4* because I wish we had gone more in depth in JavaScript basics, before building the whole project. While Matt is a great teacher I do think the videos could have more explanations on why something is being done :) All in all, a great course to get you acquainted with the development flow and getting to build a whole project with the last weeks is very fun :)

The course was absolutely lovely, with simple, straight-to-the-point instructions. Matt made the process of understanding even easier. The assignments at the end of each video helped me practice and brush up on whatever I had learned; they were of great help.😊

This training is very suitable for busy people as a basic introduction to Python. It is divided into short videos with practical exercises. It is paced, to the point and highly satisfying.

I'm a Wattpad reader. If I like a story, I get too addicted until I finish reading the story. SheCodes made me too addicted to keep styling. I always hear Matt saying in most of his tutorial videos that `once I start styling, I never stop`. I can totally relate to that! Wow, SheCodes, what have you done to me? You made me from a person with the impression of being scared of CSS into a CSS-addicted person. The more I learn, the more i want to style my page.

This SheCodes workshop was a great introduction into to learning Python basics. The content was clear and easy to follow thanks to Matt's bite-sized chunked tutorial videos. I was given plenty of opportunities to practise what I had learnt through the challenges and weekly homeworks. I'm looking forward to the next step of completing the Python Advanced workshop to learn more.

This is such an enjoyable way of learning to code, I am so happy that I have started the Basic course, and continuing to SheCodes Plus. I find the videos very clear and detailed and easy to learn from them, always can stop and go back to something to understand it better and practice. It is really helpful to use the Slack messaging platform to ask for assistance and get some advice on some of my challenges.

This felt like it was still on the basic level. There were too many mistakes from the instructor in the videos, making it distracting.

Editing HTML with CSS has always been a nightmare for me. I am not a web designer and neither am I a theory person. So some external training videos and articles only increased my anxiety so I stopped trying to learn HTML and CSS. I have always been in the backend development only. In Matt's tutorial videos, the placement of div, and the way to use inspect to see where my padding/margin issues are, it was mind-blowing and made a lot of sense. With Matt's video, I was able to understand the theory without even trying harder. I'm amazed at myself when I can easily build a landing page. Of course with some additional resource references, but hey, it's still great progress for me! Kudos to me for trusting SheCodes and kudos to the SheCodes team for turning my wish list into a reality!

The videos are short, easy to follow and pack a bunch if information. The structure of the course is very coherent and by spending quite a little time a day you will suddenly have a very good base to start coding more and more.

Everything is well explained in each video, I love how we can learn something new every lesson and develop our skills bit by bit. I highly recommend for every women!!

I had a great time learning the Basics. The videos were brief and understandable, with challenges that boosted my confidence and skills

This was the hardest one yet but I really enjoyed all the homework more especially the project. It was one of those "Omg did I really do that", Matt as usual explains everything so clearly you just have to focus and go back to a lesson video if you're confused but more often than not your answer lies in rewatching the lessons.

I think the video tutorials and the extra resources like the CSS generator tools etc. are absolutely wonderful!

The beginner projects were particularly impressive, as they looked advanced and gave me a sense of accomplishment. Overall, it was a great course that provided valuable knowledge and practical skills.

I highly enjoyed this course because it helps to expand my knowledge in JavaScript and it is a good experience for me. We built an interesting project for Meteo App that can be good example of JavaScript functions in real use. Our teacher prepares great video tutorials which were instrumental using in our daily projects. I am glad I took it and hope to take another in the near future.

I referenced the videos occasionally if I felt stuck but feel that the regular React workshop taught me enough to do this project independently for the majority of it. Overall highly recommend!

I like the program because of videos and the exercises we have to do. But because of my ADHD status it is hard for me at times to understand what is being taught. One thing for sure is that i have gotten way farther than watching YouTube and Tik-Tok videos.

I really loved this course! I come from a fashion background and have never done coding or anything tech related but it's something I've wanted to try for a while. Before discovering SheCodes, I looked into coding courses held at university institutions which are quite expensive. A lot of them were short courses and diplomas within Computer Science, Programming and Data Analytics which required additional years of studying, prerequisites in math (which is not my strong suit) and high tuition fees. This was discouraging as they didn't fit into my schedule and I didn't want to run the risk of paying high tuition fees on a course without truly knowing whether I'd enjoy it. The SheCodes Basics course was an easy and affordable way for me to decipher whether I would actually enjoy coding without committing to a full course which can be expensive and with the risk that I might not even enjoy it. As a first time coder, there were some challenges but nothing I couldn't resolve on my own and overall I had a lot of fun so I'm excited to continue my learning! I found Matt's video tutorials were engaging and easy to follow and I appreciate that he encourages you to look up solutions to issues you may encounter online - there are lots of resources! His teaching style suited my learning style with lots of guidance along the way.

Learning React was a bit more challenging than everything else I had learned, but I pushed through it with determination. I started SheCodes about a month ago with zero coding experience. The videos and challenges make it really easy to learn. I especially enjoyed the final project for the Basics Workshop because it allowed me to apply all of the concepts I learned in the first few weeks.

I love following along during the "learning" section and tweaking my code for the "challenge" portion to make it my own. It's so cool to think that I'll be able to do much more in a few months! This particular workshop was very challenging. The good news is the videos and the projects are there for me to try my hands on again. My main challenge has to do with figuring out the javascript functions and calling of the functions.

The workshops are thought out well. Matt is a good instructor and his videos are thorough with good examples. I have tried many video based courses to assist with becoming a web developer but I find myself losing interest. I like the fact there are due dates with the homework assignments and projects. That keeps me more focused and willing to stay motivated.

I found the AI add-on very helpful. As always, the videos were clear and easy to follow, slack is available for extra help. I found the prompt engineering and the user experience areas especially interesting.

It was a great introduction to python. The complex concepts were made simple and clear through the instructional videos and exercises. This course created a great foundation upon which I will continue building.

I enjoyed this program so much especially as someone who had no idea about coding. The step-by-step tutorials made everything better because if I didn't understand anything I could watch the videos as many times as I would like. I am ready to level up in the coding space and if it wasn't for SheCodes I would've never thought that I am capable to thrive in it.

A bit more challenging but easy to follow along with the videos

I felt that the Python Advanced course was well organized, clear, and the final project helped solidify what I was doing. For me, I learn best when trying something on my own, so I liked that the format of the course let me build the project on my own, but then follow along with the instructional videos to help me understand how to improve my code.

The videos are short and straight to the point. I got a lot of value from this course and it showed me real world application of certain concepts in JavaScript. I was also really happy that I got introduced to APIs for the first time. I would definitely recommend this course to others.

It made the learning process so straightforward and digestible, and I appreciated that the challenges for each workshop were different applications of what Matt had run through in the video. It made you have to think about how to apply the concepts a little bit deeper, and I found it was easier to retain that way. The SheCodes Basics Add-on videos are straightforward to understand. The concepts are easier to grasp than reading the concepts in a book or watching videos on YouTube. The learning is more streamlined.

I am LOVING this course, I have tried few free online workshops/trail periods and I couldn't connect with them however with SheCodes, I enjoy the videos and then the challenges really gives you a chance to put into practice what you have been taught. The React Workshop was definitely challenging to complete, but I did it. I definitely recommend this workshop, if the coding career - like in my case, has been calling you. The lessons are split into short videos, easy to follow and you can test yourself as you go with challenges afterwards. You are a part of community and in case you get stuck you can post your questions on the platform or you can use an AI assistant, which was proved to be very helpful. Coding is very fun and creative, I can't wait to start the next level already!
