I really enjoyed the program because it is not completely "self-study". The video tutorials were easy to follow along, there is no shame in asking questions, and you learn a lot within a short period of time. If you're a visual or hands-on learner, this is the recommended route.
The course is well paced and Matt is a great instructor. Some of the lessons can be challenging but also very fun once you start getting the hang of it. It's also great that you can ask for help when you need it and rewatch videos if you get stuck. I definitely recommend taking it if you like coding.
I thought it was excellent and I learned a lot in 3 short weeks. The materials and videos were really clear and I enjoyed all the challenges .
I loved that the Plus course continued the format of the Introductory course where topics were broken up into their own separate videos. It made the topics easier to learn, practice, and digest; and has given me a basis for what to look for when problem-solving and researching in order to build on to the skills that I've learned from the course. I also enjoyed the level of difficulty and challenge of the project. I'm excited to learn more with the React course!
Overall the help sheets and video explanations are very clear from Matt, learned a new world and found it interesting for sure. However, I do not like the platform Slack. I've had help today but I didn't even notice the answer until hours later, and the answer did not help me find a solution regardless. Slack is definitely not a simple platform to follow, it's confusing and overloaded with unnecessary messages from too many users. I submitted my final project, but I am not happy with a lot of things and even with google I could not find the solutions. I followed Matts advice and instructions but a lot of things were not working, even when writing multiple of times, refreshing pages, and writing them carefully while checking my notes. I didn't have so many problems with my last homework submission so I don't understand why this one was so hard to complete.
Concepts are broken down into bite size video lessons to allow for one or a few videos to be done at a time, depending on your schedule. It made it feel accessible to learn to a first time coder with no prior knowledge or experience of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Having said that, throughout the course you are expected to do your own Google search of items not covered in the course which I wasn't aware of at the beginning and found frustrating at times. I found answers to most of my questions on Slack having been asked by others before me. I would recommend this course to someone looking to learn the basics of computer coding.
SheCodes is the best! Highly recommend to anyone in all stages of learning computer programming. Matt's videos are great and easy to understand. Can't wait for the next workshop!

I am truly happy to have decided to apply for this course. In just 3 weeks I was able to learn so much and in such a fun and interesting way, not boring at all! ๐ In every video lesson, Matt explains everything in a very simple and efficient way and the challenges that he gives in each lesson are so worthy because you only learn by doing and you learn even more when things donโt work and you have to find by yourself what was wrong, knowing that you also can ask for help anytime you want. SheCodes is by far the best coding workshop experience I've ever had. The videos are succinct and easy to understand and the challenges along the way are a great check on learning. In just 3 weeks I was able to build my own landing page using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and had a lot of fun doing it!
Very good course for beginners with helpful videos explaining to a high standard! CodePen and VS Code are great platforms to learn on and I have gained lots of great knowledge about HTML, CSS and javascript. I am now seeking to learn harder software languages in more back-end developing๐ฉโ๐ป!!! The course could be improved by providing, optional, harder challenges for those wanting to take their skills to the next level๐ฅ!!!
What I love about the SheCodes program is that the videos only cover a few concepts at a time making it easy to fully understand with fun challenges. They even provide additional resources and show you reliable websites to make you comfortable with researching new concepts or debugging code independently. The SheCode technical assistants and other SheCoders in the Slack community respond quickly and are so helpful and supportive. Your creativity truly takes your code to the next level. Matt explains the process of building code in a clearly and the challenges provided, unlike a lot of courses I've tried, really require that you think through what to do rather than copying exactly what the video said.
I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone and everyone! I came into this with no prior knowledge of coding and was terrified that I would not be able to pick it up. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case and have been satisfied with my progress. I found Matt's video explanations and demonstrations easy to understand and follow. And it was reassuring to know that help was a few clicks away!
I really love this course. I cannot wait to start SheCodes Plus followed by SheCodes React. I have always wanted to be more than a Quality Assurance Engineer. Now, I am on my way to become a Front-End Developer. If anything, I could see myself pursuing my dreams all the way to becoming a Video Game Developer. I was always scared of programming thinking that it had a lot of math. I also was scared of not being enough, because I am a woman. I really love SheCodes!

I learned a lot from this workshop. There was a lot of support for when one gets stuck, and Matt's videos were easy to follow. I liked that they were short and got straight to the point. I have always been intimidated by coding, as it seemed like such a complicated thing to understand. However, from this workshop I realized I am capable of grasping new concepts around this subject and it has encouraged me to take it forward and learn some more. This was a great introduction to coding, I am happy I followed it up after seeing that ad.
After I participated in SheCodes workshop, I immediately applied! I cannot believe what I can now do, I thought it was very difficult, especially if you don't have any knowledge on the subject. The videos are easy to follow and the course is well structured and even if you don't have a lot of time, the lessons are short and straight forward.
This course was a nice introduction to coding and made it less intimidating to learn about it. The video instructions were realistic and easy to understand.

I really enjoyed this workshop! I believe it is very good to learn step by step, therefore i found great the idea to have short videos explaining one Topic, after to have a practical exercise and finally get an explanation/potential solution of.
This workshop has been challenging but also fun! Even though I was a beginner the examples and videos are very useful.
I have throughly enjoyed the 3 week introductory course! :) I came into SheCodes not knowing a single thing about coding and in a short amount of time I have learnt so much. I am now looking forward to continuing on with SheCodes React! I am really pleased with the structure and learning style of SheCodes, Matt is a great teacher and provides clear videos that make learning enjoyable. We always have the opportunity to put what we have learnt into practice by completing mini exercises and homework submissions. The communication is really clear throughout the course, if you ever get stuck we can raise questions on a shared Slack group where students can help each other out but there is a also a hands on team ready to help too!
A great intro to coding for someone who has never coded before. I particularly appreciated the practice-based structure of the course - every short instruction video is followed by a hands-on puzzle-like challenge, which really helps keep one interested and motivated. I have also found the technical support from staff on Slack very quick and helpful. Would highly recommend!
SheCodes Plus was a great next step for learning how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The weekly challenges and homework were not easy but were broken down into digestible pieces, and I was able to successfully complete the workshop during weekends and after work. Matt provides really clear and concise recorded lessons with follow-up videos to walk you through each challenge and assignment's recommended solution. If more guidance is ever needed, additional help is always available over Slack. I do not have a math or programming background, yet I was able to grasp the concepts and after completing the weather app project, I feel more confident in my understanding and ability to read and create code to build useful applications. I recommend the SheCodes Plus workshop to anyone who has completed the 3-week introduction workshop, and wants to learn more!
I've had so much fun doing the workshops and wish I'd have enrolled sooner! I've learnt so much in the last three weeks and feel this is a great stepping stone in learning the basics of coding. The learning videos are great, and the challenges inspire you to think for yourself. Would highly recommend the workshop!
SheCodes gave me the opportunity to finally start learning to code. I never thought it is so easy to learn the first steps of building a website. I find the learning videos extremely helpful showing me all the things I need to know.
This class is a great introduction to coding for beginners. The videos are very intuitive and I enjoyed the challenges after each lessons. The final project allows you to practice what you have learnt and you start seeing the power of coding!
Prior to becoming a 7th-grade math teacher, I had a split second dream of working for Pixar. I had the math, all that I needed was the coding. I tried to learn on my own, but finding solutions to problems along the way itself was an obstacle. Several years have passed and I still had an interest in coding - that's when SheCodes came along. The tutorial videos along with actual personal assistance, if needed, are all well implemented and was exactly what I was looking for to get my feet wet. I have really enjoyed this experience and I look forward to all the future coding that comes my way. Thanks again!
I was a bit disappointed that the course would be online. But after I started, I realize that the videos and explanations were very clear and the course was easy to follow. It was a great way to refresh my knowledge about HTML and JavaScript and to learn some basic of CSS and how to code in Visual Studio Code.

I began this workshop because I wanted to see if I could actually understand it and like it. I had no idea what coding even was. I had heard about JavaScript and HTML but never knew exactly what they were. I was so nervous thinking "Well there goes my money down the drain. I'm not going to understand any of this." First week went so smoothly. Even my husband who knows a bit about coding was impressed how quick I understood how HTML and CSS worked. I caught on quick. Now JavaScript I struggled with it but after going back to the lesson and re-watching the videos and playing around with it, it finally clicked. The way that Matt taught was so easy to understand. I will definitely be doing the SheCodes Plus React! I enjoyed it so much that now I'm thinking about a career change. Thank you!
Interesting experience, really well build lessons with the videos and tasks for each topic. At the end of the first level, it is difficult to hold and not to build a more complicated code.
The videos are easy follow and everything is well explained. I have failed C++ back in college so I wasn't sure if I could do this, but now I feel like I can.
I enjoyed this workshop so much! For once, I finished a coding course online, UNDERSTOOD the material, and thoroughly enjoyed what I was learning. Matt has done an excellent job of combining different learning styles into his workshop lessons by utilizing lecture, demonstration, and visuals. He keeps the lessons short and to the point (anywhere from two to 12 minutes per video), giving you just what you need to get started and complete the challenges, but also keeps you curious to research more. All the resources you need (code cheat sheets, color palettes, professional documentation, etc.) are made available to you and the Slack support is fantastic and quick to respond if you get stuck. After you have submitted your challenges, you can immediately view the suggested solution (he reminds us there isnโt just one way of doing things ๐) to review against your own submission. His site is also very user-friendly, easy-to-navigate, and the courses and material are well-structured, so you donโt get so overwhelmed with the material. Best part, even though there are weekly deadlines, you can work through the weekโs lessons at your own pace. The 3 Week Workshop is worth it if you are the slightest bit interested in coding at all!
Overall, this was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The videos were short and engaging and the hands-on activities really helped me grasp the concepts being taught.
If you have even the slightest interest in coding, do the SheCodes Workshop! At first I was a bit skeptical as to whether I would enjoy the course as I've attempted to code in the past but it never stuck. Believe me, it's worth it! The videos are clear, concise and Matt makes everything as easy to follow as possible. The challenges and homework set out are one of the things that stick out for me from the programme compared to other learning platforms; They encourage you to practise what you've learnt and research things on your own. Another amazing perk is that Matt teaches you not only how to code, but also provides tips along the way of which resources are best to use alongside. It's been an amazing experience and I look forward to doing the SheCodes Plus workshop next!

I really loved this workshop and the way Matt teaches. I started learning code earlier, but I never understood why I have to do things the way I have to do them. Matt explains everything very clearly so you understand the background of why things work the way they do. I love the fact that the videos are really short and you always get an exercise to submit. Trying things out for yourself definitely helps to remember things better. I was so motivated that I finished all the videos and assignments in less than a week. After that I had enough time for my final project and to try out new things.
After 3 weeks I proudly finished my SheCodes Workshop where I learned about HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really liked the video lessons and the structure given. This made it easy to make progress step by step in your own time. I would recommend this course for anyone, even total beginners, to get an understandig of how coding works which is also important for me as a designer. I am even thinking about doing another workshop!

I tried the 3 week coding workshop. SheCodes was super comprehensive, fun, and interactive. I loved being able to get help from other students and looking back at videos for assistance. Definitely interested in continuing to code after this lesson!
I've taken a front end web development course several years ago and haven't had much time to practice after graduating. Coding is really like learning a new language: if you don't use it, you'll lose it. Shecodes offered me the perfect refresher on HTML, CSS and JS. I did feel the material was very high level and went a little too fast, but the videos were short and digestible to keep you focused and interested.
Matt's style of teaching is so easy to follow, and the short videos combined with mini challenges made it super easy to learn how to code a basic landing page. I was unsure if coding was something I could understand or do, and after this course I know that I can do even more!
This was a great class for beginners like myself! The videos were easy to follow and the challenges, homeworks, and project really allowed me to be hands on and implement what I learned. It was great to have the ability to go back and reference the videos if I got stuck. I did find that the course took more than 15 hours as stated in the course description (at least for myself - a beginner who was taking lots of notes along the way, viewing videos more than once if I got stuck, etc.). This workshop taught me the very basic fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and has set me off to further explore the world of coding and learn more skills! Also, I can't say enough good things about the SheCodes team and the Slack channel that comes along with this workshop - the team was always super quick to respond to any questions I had about the course and the Slack channel provided great support!ย
I took the 3 week course as a very easy introduction to coding. Matt explained things very well and the videos helped me understand things. I wish there were more videos so I can learn more things! The challenge at the end of the three week course was appropriate.

I must say that the last few weeks were very interesting and full of new discoveries. Who would have thought coding was so much fun and at the same time also frustrating. Especially when your own knowledge on the subject is lacking or you just need to find a solution to a problem that seams giant at first but then is just a typo (mostly). I am so happy I took the time this year to learn a new skill and try out coding back in April with SheCodes Workshop and continued with SheCodes Plus. I can not wait to see what coding future I can discover and learn some more about programming. Shecodes provides professional online learning videos of coding. In the beginning, I feel nervous and anxious about learning coding because I think it may be difficult for me. However, through learning videos, I figure out that it is interesting and easy to learn. It is a challenge to develop a gorgeous website. In the meantime, I can enjoy the beauty of coding I am capable to make.
Right when I entered the first workshop, I knew I wanted to go further into coding so I applied for SheCodes Plus. What a ride! It's such a wonderful thing to know that we are capable of always pushing ourselves more and more... I thought this course was really great for so many reasons! I loved the structure of the course - videos, challenges, projects. It was helpful to have the videos to be able to go back and watch when you got stuck. Having a slack channel where you could ask for help was great too. My only complaint is that it definitely takes longer than 5 hours a week to complete. That piece of information was misleading. With that being said, I still thought it was a great course and I would recommend it to a friend (with the knowledge that it will take anywhere from 10-12 hours per week).
After attending college for Graphic Design and Web Design and Development I continued my education with a few private colleges across Ontario. Unfortunately, I felt like I didn't retain some of the information I had learned in JavaScript it's a bit more complicated to learn than HTML and CSS. I came across SheCodes and thought it would be a great way to review my skill sets during the pandemic and continue to prepare me for a Jr. Front-End Web Developer position that much better and it has, I'm looking forward to continuing with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React. SheCodes supplies you with videos to follow along to and it makes a huge difference for me in retaining information.
I would highly recommend a course with SheCodes. I have always been interested in coding and I thought SheCodes Workshop would be a good introduction--I was not disappointed. The workshop is a mix of short videos explaining key concepts and a challenge for each concept. There are then larger "challenges" in the form of weekly homework and projects. The length of the videos makes them very easy to get through, and the challenges ensure that you have fully grasped a concept before introducing a new one. I would definitely consider another SheCodes course in future!
I have been interested in coding for a while but I have always been thrown off by the costs of bootcamps online, and the worry of not having any computer science experience. After reading through the website and attending the free coding class, I was super excited about the opportunity to learn in an affordable and judgement free environment. I was not disappointed! This workshop has been easy to follow, extremely educational, and fun to do. I don't think I've ever enjoyed working on a project so much. Matt's videos are short and to the point without feeling overwhelming. I will definitely be continuing on with the courses offered by SheCodes and cannot recommend these workshops enough!
I was asked to participate in the 3 Week SheCodes Workshop as a ladies group, enrichment activity. Although I had taken coding in secondary school, I knew this workshop would require more effort and focus than I typically possess. Thankfully, instructor Matt has a pleasant voice and clear delivery. The video lessons can be played and replayed at whatever speed suits your attention span. Weeks 1 and 2 each took a few full days for me to complete, leaving 2 weeks to space the final project. This is a self-paced workshop, but be aware of deadlines. I found the lessons were best absorbed and challenges easier to complete, when I reproduced the instructional exercises along with the videos. The challenges, homework, and final project do require additional self-research and a bit of trial and error. This is where supplied resources like SheCodes Slack workspace and MDN web docs come in handy. I would recommend this workshop only to the person who has the time, budget, interest and motivation to build foundational coding skills.
The lessons are super easy to follow and everything is explained really logically so you don't feel like you're being overwhelmed with information but you also don't feel like you're watching endless tutorial videos that have no relevance. All the lessons have a perfect balance of learning a new skill with a practical element...you learn by doing! I have learnt so much over the past 3 weeks and can't wait to progress onto the next SheCodes workshop!
The workshop was great! Every subject was divided into short videos, which made it very easy to understand. If you want, you can pause the video, speed it up or slow it down to match your individual pace. I can't wait to start with SheCodes Plus!

I sincerely thank Matt Delac and the SheCodes staff for the start on my coding journey. SheCodes was instrumental in helping to further develop my coding skills. I gained a lot of knowledge in 3 weeks. I loved how the course was taught and that you could go at your own pace. The videos were easy to follow and to comprehend. The homework and the projects made you think critically and analytically. I have a BA in History. Learning HTML, CSS and Java has given me an important new skill that I was able to use in conjunction with my passion for history. I was able to use my new coding skills on the final project along with a historical topic which I love. The workshop was great at communicating. Slack is a great tool to use for asking questions. I always felt welcomed and comfortable asking questions or giving feedback on my projects. I found SheCodes to be the perfect online community for learn coding. I am glad that I made the decision to take the course and look forward to continuing with more advanced classes.

I've tried to teach myself front-end development in the past, but it was so difficult for me to solidify what I learned. After taking the SheCodes Introduction course, I now have a very good basic understanding and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a new mom, it's really difficult to find time for myself, so it was really great that I can watch the videos and complete the challenges and homework on my own time. I highly recommend SheCodes because the format is really intuitive and helpful. I'm super excited to continue coding and learn more!
I LOVED the SheCodes 3-week workshop! I'd been wanting to learn coding for a while, but hadn't wanted to commit to a course since I had no previous experience related to coding. I attended the SheCodes Express seminar and was super intrigued and signed up shortly after! I really enjoyed the workshop: the videos are super clear and easy to follow and Matt is a great instructor for people of all skill sets. Plus: the whole community (instructors and fellow coders) were all eager, generous and happy to help if I got stuck on a challenge or homework, and communication was made super easy via Slack. This workshop is excellent for learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Matt's videos are easy to follow along with and he reinforces the knowledge gained each step of the way. I was introduced to programming years ago in college so this was a great way to freshen up my skills!
I really enjoyed the introduction to coding with SheCodes! I had been thinking about changing into product management for a long time but wasn't sure if I would like the coding aspects of it. I was really doubting if I would be able to do it and what's more important if I would enjoy it. These last few weeks have been extremely interesting and exciting for me. I had so much fun learning and creating new things. I find coding very rewarding as you see the results of your work almost immediately. I especially loved the final project as you get the chance to create something on your own and get to be really creative. The videos provided by Matt were very easy to follow and I learned a lot in such a short time! The community provided by SheCodes is great as you can both find help and help others! It feels like a safe space to ask any questions if you ever get stuck and you always get very quick feedback from the nice SheCodes team if the other girls can't help you out. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes and I am so much looking forward to continuing my learning in SheCodes Plus!
LOVED IT! I have been wanting to try coding to see if I liked it for a while but I was reluctant as I had no previous experience whatsoever with coding and I had no idea if it would be something I could actually do, or enjoy. I watched the SheCodes Video and decided that I would give it a try. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this 3 months more than I was expecting as the videos are easy to follow, Matt gives you great advice and if we get stuck, we can always count on the team to help us out on Slack. It was challenging at times, but also very rewarding when you get to see the result of something you have built. The project at the end was a lot of fun because it was more personal. SheCodes is a great coding course, especially for beginners, who have never tried to code before. The instructor is very good at explaining the different HTML, CSS and Javascript elements and why you are using it. The videos are also very easy to follow and so are the challenges. It is all a good build-up for the final project, where you really can put your skills to the test! I feel I have a way better basic understanding of coding, and hope to work more with it in the future!

In my opinion the best part of the workshop, as you get the opportunity to be creative, while combining all the skills you learned and get this revised by the SheCodes team. Excited to improve my skills and create even more amazing projects!
After completing the introduction course I was very intrigued by the possibility of learning more coding with SheCodes. Much like Intro to Coding course this was easy to understand with videos and notes provided and it's possible to fit into my hectic schedule! There were challenging aspects to this 6-week course but there is great support provided and I feel accomplished and proud of myself that I completed it!
This course was a great intro to coding. The short demo videos are easy to follow. The homework and project were really challenging but very enjoyable! I would recommend the course and plan to continue learning with SheCodes.
I have been looking for a way to learn coding for quite a while now, and I was so excited when I found SheCodes! I found the videos and prompts very easy to learn from, and each project really built on itself. If you're on the fence about taking this workshop, I urge you to try it!
This is a wonderful 3-week course! The lessons were surprisingly easy to follow along with on my own, and I liked that there was a community of other women taking the course that I could turn to for help if I needed it. I had very minimal experience with coding before SheCodes and wasn't certain that it was something that I would enjoy doing, however now after taking the intro classes I'm certain it is something I would enjoy pursuing as a full-time career. I was also pleased with the price for the courses - other coding bootcamps I've researched are a lot more expensive, so I was happy SheCodes was something I could do without "emptying my wallet." The instructor, Matt, was good as well in terms of being able to create clear, concise lessons and videos to follow along with. I found I didn't have a lot of questions or wasn't lost often because I wasn't struggling to understand what was going on. I'm excited to continue on to SheCodes Plus! to learn more!
Each lesson is well summarized and on point. I did not really feel like 'Coding is out of this world', which often I've felt when I tried to learn from some Youtube videos about coding. Besides Matt's amazing method, SheCodes has a great mentor like Joรฃo and Lexi who are always there to help. Seeing and knowing other girls working on the same challenges at the same time also helped and motivated me a lot! Great course.
SheCodes give me the opportunity to finally start learning some code. I never though an online course would capture my full attention and that I could really learn without having the teacher in front of me. I love the short videos and the subsequent immediate practice.
I am a Pharmacy student who wanted to learn code because I have never explored this area before and I think that being able to make websites and read code is totally useful in any field of study! SheCodes allows you to work at your own pace, but still has deadlines for you to work towards. Matt is the instructor who is wonderful at teaching code, making my first coding course (ever in my life) really great. The structure of SheCodes allows you to directly apply what you learn after watching a short video, by completing short challenges. In my opinion, this is the best way to learn as you use what you learn shortly after learning it for the first time. It is also super fun to be able to see the text you are typing, turn into a beautiful website! I totally recommend taking this course :)

The beginner workshop gives you a great idea of how to start working with coding really fells like and Matt is amazing at each one of the classes. The videos go straight to the point and he encourages us to learn and try by ourselves, giving tips and clues of how somethings can work and also showing us his way of thinking after the activity is done. The SheCodes team is spectacular on answering our questions on time and the community just makes us more excited about the final project.

This was the first step I dare to take into learning how to code CSS, HTML and JavaScript. SheCodes gives you the right tools to start this career path with informative videos, challenges and homework you have to submit during your workshop. I highly recommend this program for young entrepreneur women who have never programmed and are ready to learn how to code!!
SheCodes uses step-by-step videos on how to code. The videos are easy to understand so that coding is fun. I would recommend the course to anyone who is interesting in learning how to code- help is offered every step of the way, if needed.
As a beginner into coding, I benefitted greatly from Matt's step-by-step teaching through his videos. The lessons are bite-sized so I was never overwhelmed by information in a single seating. The challenges after each lessons are a great help in refreshing my memories and a big help in putting the lessons into actual practice. The moderator(s) on Slack were also super efficient in answering all sorts of questions I encountered during my learning journey. I love how feedback were given after each homework submission so I know what I did wrong in the process.
I had a semi basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript prior to this course, but the way Matt's videos explained each concept made everything easier to understand and remember. I can't wait for the next couple of courses so I can get a deeper understanding of each language, in hopes to utilize the knowledge to help me start a career in coding someday.
I would highly recommend the 3-week workshop to anybody who is curious about coding and wants to 'dip their feet' into it and see what it's all about. The videos are clear, the challenges are well-designed, and you do not need to have any special skills to be successful in this workshop -- you just need motivation! I'll add that the workload is quite manageable, and the SheCodes community is really cool!
SheCodes Workshop was a great beginner course or even a refresher course about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Matt's videos were easy to follow along and his examples were clear. I learned more in this three week workshop than a whole semester of Computer Science 101 in college! Everything about this course is great. Matt guides you through the lessons step by step in each video. The challenges and homework allow you to use what you learned and get some practice coding. Being able to learn on your own time in a simple, structured way is awesome. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who is looking to explore coding and learn some new skills. The videos were really clear and easy to follow. I think this is a great course for someone who is interested in coding and would like to get exposure without the time or cost commitment most bootcamps require.
Brilliant! I had been toying with the idea of studying code for a while but I was reluctant as I had no previous experience whatsoever with coding and I had no idea if it would be something I could actually do, or enjoy. I watched the SheCodes Express and decided that I would give it a go. It turns out I enjoyed this 3 weeks more than I was expecting as the videos are easy to follow, Matt gives you great advice and if we get stuck, we can always count on the team to help us out on Slack. It was challenging at times, but also very rewarding when you get to see the result of something youยด ve built. Thank you all at SheCodes! ๐
I highly recommend this workshop to anyone that wants to start on this area and learn the basic of coding. Besides Matt being an excellent tutor, the workshop is designed for you to learn step by step, you can learn to your rhythm and manage your time during the week. Besides, you can rely on extra help from the community and by SheCodes. Each class is well structured and encourages you to go behind and search for extra things online, which is the main source of new things to put on the codes. Also, the material support (like videos, solutions, code, etc) are really god. I did not expect to learn some much in just three weeks. I believe this training is the door that I needed to develop my skills in this area. Thank you, Matt! Thank you, SheCodes!
