I really enjoyed learning how to code. I started with practically zero knowledge. I'd heard of the various languages but didn't know much beyond that but I was curious to find out more about the coding world. I found the video lessons easy to follow and liked the fact that I could go back to them as and when I needed. At times I felt a little overwhelmed but when that was the case I took a break and watched the lessons again. Now I have basic knowledge of Javascript, CSS and HTML. I'd highly recommend the Basics course to anyone who is curious to learn more about coding.

Very nice introductory course. The videos are clear and easy to follow, all challenges are interesting and a good learning experience. The first week was a bit overwhelming with all the different coding languages but the second and third weeks were a lot better :) Looking forward to the next workshop.
I found the videos clear and easy to understand. I enjoyed the challenges and felt they were pertinent and the right difficulty to encourage learning. If you get stuck or are just looking to clarify anything, asking a question in Slack is easy and the responses are timely.

I'm grateful to have been a part of the SheCodes Plus workshop, after coming from the SheCodes Basics, I felt a bit more equipped and motivated to complete my certification on time(even though I had to change my start date twice,hehe, I still managed to push through on time). I'd reccommend only the Basic course. I started the Plus, and the videos are confusing, the material seems to be outdated, the VS Code is not the tool that the course requires anymore (even though it's the main tool being used on the market).
SheCodes basics has given me the opportunity to learn and gain new skills. The add-on workshop was a lot of fun for me, as I got the chance to learn new things and also got to play around with more advanced styling techniques. Python is such a useful language to know. I've always really enjoyed learning from Matt and how he has SheCodes set up with videos and challenges. I wish more had been explained in certain areas. After exclaiming that scope and functions are one of the hardest concepts, I feel like it wasn't explained super thoroughly.

I have gained a lot of knowledge through this workshop. I was just a beginner with laptop who was afraid of making it through all the home works and projects before 3 weeks but now I am thinking I would be great at this with some hours of commitment daily. I also liked how short and concise the videos are.
This was a challenging course however we pushed through. The videos are digestible and easy to understand, also the option to play at a speed suitable for you is a great option for us who are new in this " tech" industry. I have created a website for my business and made it responsive.
Ohhh wauuuu, this is soo challenging. One moment i feel like i have got is all in the next, i am back to the videos to double check and recheck where i am missing it. If anything, i have become more attentive to the quality of my work. This is challenging yet thrilling and exciting.

It may seem a bit complicated to follow the classes, rewind the video, fast forward, pause and so on, but with patience, you will understand and move forward, it is gratifying to see a very nice project at the end.

The AI add-on was a very fun and informative experience. I have no prior experience in AI and was able to follow along relatively easily to the videos and understand what Matt was explaining.
This course was a little bit harder than the others. But I persisted and so happy I accomplished learning a new skill. Family responsibilities pushed back my learning timeline but because the videos were saved, I was able to rewatch as many times as I want to make the information stick. I learned that consistency and practice will make you a better coder.
Highly recommend this workshop to any that wants to further their skills in frontend development. The videos provided clear instructions and explanations, which helped me understand how to work with APIs.
I loved the Learn to Code Basics course! The pace was perfect for me—I could watch the videos and practice on my own without feeling stressed about timelines. Over the 3 weeks, my knowledge built up gradually, and I felt more confident with each lesson. They have so many great resources available, and it was fun! So much so that I've signed up for She Codes Plus! I'm a Product Manager and was taking this course to increase my technical knowledge but I'm hooked now and want to learn more!

Fun and creative, I didn't feel like I was studying for a certificate. You learn so much in short and concise videos that go straight to the point. The time I spent learning was my "relaxing" time after a long day at work. Everyday I looked forward to the time I would get home after work and get to do what I enjoyed. This workshop is time well spent, you come out of it with a certificate and a lot smarter than you went in. What's not to like?

SheCodes Plus was challenging, but I learned a lot of advanced coding with step-by-step videos that are easy to follow. I highly recommend it if you want to learn serious coding.
I have made it this far (pheww!). React challenged my coding skills I have learned thus far. Matt was able to walk me through each step of building the React Weather app. There were some hiccups along the way with the API information due to unexpected changes that could have been included in the learning videos. I relied on getting help from Slack and voila!

It's been surprisingly enjoyable and challenging for me, especially since I started out feeling quite scared. I'm really glad I took the leap into this journey. Learning with SheCodes doesn't feel like you are learning remotely. Everything is so organized and smooth. You get to learn at your own pace and you can repeat a video as much as you like to eventually understand.

After attending the free workshop, I decided to sign up and try something new. Each week is broken up into smaller more manageable assignments and videos. They were easy to follow and made all the information much easier to understand. I really enjoyed using my creativity and new skills for the final project.
When I 1st saw the ad for SheCodes and listened to the free coding class video, I was immediately intrigued. When I started to take the class, it was very overwhelming on my 1st week,and I wanted to quit, but then I reviewed the videos over and over and now it doesn't seem as overwhelming, it does take time and practice but I am happy that I jumped in and stuck with the class.
It was a great course, I really enjoyed the videos and the challenges associated with it make it more easy to learn and the slack helped me a lot in clearing doubts .....

I would 100% recommend SheCodes. The video tutorials are very easy to understand and Matt gives you access to many more resources that you might need for extra help. You can also extend your deadline dates, should you not have the time to submit on the given date. It is so accommodating to working women and university/college students.
I love the structure of these courses and how Matt guides you along each chapter step by step and each video is followed by a challenge. I also appreciate how he encourages us to use our resources and requires that we sometimes add elements that we haven't gone over so that we can learn how to find it online.

Working on the Tokyo web-page, I got to dive deep into CSS, experimenting with different techniques to make sure everything looked great on any device. This project wasn’t just about building something; it was about understanding the why and how behind each step. Definitely a game-changer in how I approach coding now!
I thought building the Dictionary App would be easy after working on the React Weather App, but I found it challenging. I am glad we had this additional project so I can learn and practice more with react. The resources and videos provided were very helpful. Happy to finish the project and I now feel more comfortable with React.
Great workshop, learnt a lot during this chapter. Good bite sized videos and hands on challenges to get that practice in, which is essential and great to do so. Would be great to have some "live tutor time" or arranged calls for Q&A as some times the only answer is the internet, which can after a certain point be overwhelming. It would also be great to get some feedback on the code and projects we write, on how to improve the code, questions etc.
