The basics Add on was easy to follow, and a fun way to add special features to a simple project. With step by step video instructions, it’s easy to accomplish on any level.

Having just completed the Basics programme, I would highly recommend this to anyone starting out on their coding journey. The training videos are bite-sized, so it's easy to take in all the information that you need. The concepts are broken down really well and the challenges and homework have been a lot of fun to complete. I can't wait to move on to some more advanced coding now and carry on the rest of the journey!

WOW! I did it! This Workshop was soo helpful in understanding what is actually relevent in the Job Search/Career Kick-Off process. There's so much information out there, so to have someone (Matt) take it step-by-step for me was very clarifying! After I finished SheCodes Basic I immediately started with SheCodes Plus. The combination of short teaching videos, followed by challenges during which you immediately apply the learnt material makes this so satisfying. The learning curve is steep and I will definitely go back and go through the material again! Additionally, I now have the confidence to apply for jobs that require to communicate with technical teams - that is a huge leap forward from where I was just a few weeks ago! It was really easy to understand the videos of the lesson given and being able to do practices of what is being taught has a big effect on your progress and understanding

8 weeks of knowledge, not complaining at all. I have learned a lot about search engine, API integration(it was not easy but taking my time and replaying the videos until I got it right helped a lot, also not to forget help from the slack team as well) and so much more. It is crazy that I can now create a functioning forecast weather search app. Grateful for the opportunity to learn such skill at no cost.

Attending the SheCodes Basic was a game-changer for me helped me to understand coding and HTLM CSS and Javascprit. Matt is a great instructor easy to understand.The video are very helpful not boring and after each video I like that you get to test what you have learn with a homework. I finish the course feeling that I have a good starting knowledge and skills. Thank you to this course, I now feel more confident in to the word of coding and exciting about the next steps ahead!

Following SheCodes workshops is always a motivating journey for me. The hands-on projects are the best way to learn and immerse myself in coding. It makes me reproduce what the instructor showed in the short videos using my own ideas, but also find a lot of new solutions along the way and play around with my own coding. The learning curve is extremely fast and high!

I was nervous about self-paced education, but this was really helpful to me! I like that Matt gives examples in the videos but instructs to create our own design, so we can learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from our own experimentation.

I recently completed a weather app project as part of the SheCodes frontend development course, and I'm thrilled to give it a five-star rating! This program has been easy to follow and understand; even for someone with minimal to no experience in coding. The videos were short and full of information, and completing homework assignments was easier with all the resources She Codes provides.

I found my SheCodes introduction to the basics journey very exceptional because you get to ask questions when you need help and Matt is very calm and makes sure that when he explains things you fully understand what is said through the videos. It makes me thrilled to know that am one step away from being where I see myself in the tech world.

Since from a young age I've always loved anything that had to do with computers and technology in general, but unfortunately life happened so I could not afford to go to university. Fortunately when I was scrolling through Tik Tok one day, I came across a video at spoke about how SheCodes is the perfect coding course for beginners. So, later on that day I went to the SheCodes website to check out the available courses, and to my surprise, they offered funding for people like me who are eager to learn but do not have the means to do so. I then applied to the Delac Foundation. A few weeks later, I was notified that I will be starting the coding journey soon. I have been coding for three weeks now and I am grateful for the fruitful opportunity, and I am looking forward to the rest of the coding course. 😊😊😊

All the videos are easy to follow along to and understand!! Some concepts would be so confusing to understand otherwise, but everything is simplified in his videos. I love tech and can't wait to find my job!!

Joining was honestly the most amazing thing that could have happened for me, I learned new skills and my knowledge on coding has expanded Matt's teaching style was very short, to the point and very understandable , I barely had to rewind! The videos are in bite sizes for you to absorb it more and I honestly prefer it this way! If you prefer a mostly self-paced but also guided learning experience I Reccomend SheCodes!

I had so much fun with this workshop! I loved to experiment with various color schemes for the backgrounds and try to match everything to make it look pretty. The short videos were super helpful because they focused on one thing at a time, making everything easier to grasp. Can't wait to dive into more workshops!

This was an excellent starter course for people with no prior coding experience. The training videos are easy enough to follow along and comprehensive. I personally really enjoyed the repetitious coding challenges put in to place to make sure I understood what I had learned and to help retain information. Matt did an excellent job instructing in this workshop, keeping me engaged with lessons being short and to the point.

Very structured curricullum, with good videos, a good AI and very good support through Slack. I tried other programs online, but ended up getting frustrated. I did not get frustrated this time!

Really love the video tutorials. Fun way to learn. Matt is very enthusiastic and engaging, and explains things well. The challenges are great, as you really learn when you do things yourself.

Awesome classes & more challenging, but when you really watch the videos and listen to Matt, it gets easier and more understandable. I throughly enjoyed learning about GitHub, APIs and JavaScript.

The way the workshop is built is great; the videos explain the subject clearly, and with the homework and projects, you get motivated to continue and keep going. Highly recommend it.

SheCodes offered a relaxed and enjoyable learning journey! The bite-sized challenges were well-structured, making it easy to understand and progress. With short, manageable videos and the flexibility to learn at my own pace, I went from being a complete beginner to confidently building my own small website. SheCodes made coding approachable and enjoyable, and I'm thankful for the valuable skills I've acquired!

There is a lot of material in text and video format and it is simply impossible not to understand something. If there is a problem on the site, the support service is always online during the day. There is a help chat, where they will always help with a solution. It is possible to postpone work for a week if something happens.

I had an amazing experience with SheCodes! As someone completely new to coding, I was initially intimidated by the idea of learning how to code. However, the SheCodes program made the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The structured video lessons and hands-on projects provided me with the guidance and motivation I needed to succeed. The lessons and real-world projects helped me build a solid foundation in coding, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to progress. Even though it was hard for me, thanks to SheCodes, I now feel confident in my coding abilities and excited to continue my journey in the tech industry!

This was a great add-on course to the basic learnings of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was especially fun to try and code at the same time as the learning videos for the project (assignment) for this course. This was a great way to test my understanding of what was being done, and see if I have found other ways to do reach the same solution.

The basics course was such a wonderful introduction to coding! Do not let its short timeframe fool you - you learn a ton of new things during those three weeks. The projects are fun and engaging, and comprehensive explanations are provided in the 'solution' videos. This course is for everyone who wants a smooth introduction into the coding world.

Great addition to the SheCodes Basics workshop. Every video takes you by the hand to create an additionnal project, that pretty much recaps what we learned in SheCodes Basics.

Repetition is key! Be not afraid to watch the videos multiple times. I take a nap after and then it all clicks. Being good at this is not an overnight skill. The journey is never-ending. Through this course, I see that I have a lot to learn. This was beyond fun and I enjoyed it.

I love learning new things and the way the course is designed is great. The videos are short, simple and easy to follow.

Lessons are very structured as always. I love that we are building towards working on building a functional web application, and the lessons throughout are broken down to teach the essentials we need to learn for the HTML, CSS, and JS + how to use GIT and deploy the website in the end. Felt like we have a goal to work towards while learning the harder concept. It's also always so good to see Matt code it from scratch at the videos and see the way he tries to debug the code when it's not working. so helpful.

I have learn a lot in the first two weeks, and when it came to the project, I was able to apply my knowledge and complete the project. I was able to be creative as possible. The videos made it easy to understand HTML and JavaScript, and the different challenges helped me practice and have a better understand on each topic.

Another milestone accomplished!!! This course had a lot to learn, and I really enjoyed watching each video and working on challenges. 

I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The curriculum was expertly designed, covering everything from basic principles to advanced techniques. The videos were not only knowledgeable but also easy to follow and understand which made learning enjoyable. The hands-on projects and real-world simulations were particularly valuable as they allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical setting.

This React workshop compared to the Basics or Plus workshops does not solidy concepts as much. I felt as though I didn't learn as much as before and most of the concepts were only brushed upon in the videos.

I learnt a lot from the 3 week course, and definitely enjoyed coding. I love how the videos were short and straight to the point, I would definitely like to continue learning.

The SheCodes Responsive-Add on has allowed me to deeper my understanding of responsive design. It has also enabled me to gain more knowledge using pure CSS without having to rely on frameworks such as: Bootstrap. This program offered a balance between creativity and a strong foundational approach, enabling me to explore new ideas while maintaining a solid skill set. I enjoyed building projects related to what I am passionate about it, and I learned valuable techniques such as embedding videos and media, creating tables and grids, making the learning experience both enjoyable and informative.

I must say the SheCodes Basics Workshop was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The course was not only informative but also engaging, making learning coding concepts feel effortless. The Matt's approach to the video lectures was clear and concise which provided a practical understanding of coding fundamentals. I feel more confident in my coding skills gained in this Workshop and am excited to continue learning and developing them

I enjoyed the Shecodes basics course, The course is very beginner-friendly. I like that the videos are not long, you take them in small bites. Matt is a very good instructor, I cannot wait to start the Shecodes plus workshop.

Before starting this course, I knew a little about code, but I learned so much more while here. It gave me the confidence to build a landing page correctly. There is so much support from other members and the staff in case you get stuck - which i did for the more technical side and received my answers quickly. The videos are easy to follow, so much so that I was able to watch them while looking after a baby.

This course was very challenging but Matt's video breaks down the steps to help understand the concepts. Although I had to watch some videos few times to understand one concepts because some of the concepts were difficult, the course is worth the try for your skills!

I can't recommend the Responsive Course highly enough! It's been an incredible journey where I've not only learned invaluable skills but also gained the confidence to design my own website. The video tutorials were incredibly helpful, guiding me every step of the way. By the end of the workshop, I felt like I had truly 'made it' in the world of web design. This workshop was a great introduction to coding! The step-by-step instructional videos and flexible schedule were what I was looking for.

I found immense pleasure in working on this project; once I delved into it, I found it difficult to tear myself away. While there were undoubtedly challenging concepts involved, they became much clearer to me after I took the time to go through the instructional videos.

I have been a fan of the work of everyone at SheCodes since last year, 2023. With everyone's testimony of how they loved the different SheCodes coding workshops, i got the courage to apply and join the WomenInTech statistic. This is by far my most favourite coding workshop and Matt delivers his videos and homework in such a way that it is easy to understand but also challenges to put our best foot forward. This is an amazing intro into coding for anyone who has never done it before, no matter the age (I just turned 50). With the step by step videos and the encouragement to discover assistance from fellow students or the web, this course will give you a great foundation to continue learning or finding an entry level job.

As a psychology graduate, I was feeling lost and discouraged after university, having difficulties finding a job it felt like I made the wrong decision. After my friend encouraged me to look into SheCodes and how it would broaden my horizons I felt as if coding would an impossible thing for me to learn and I was so intimidated but the structured lessons that are so accessible and explained in bite size videos made it so easy to understand and Matt was so encouraging even over the videos, his passion for coding and wanting women to learn and enter the tech world transcended through the phone and made me feel as if I could really do it, which I did.

The notes given after each video were very helpful. They helped me with my own understanding. As someone who didn't know anything about coding, I can say with my full chest that following each step made me know how to code the basics of HTML,CSS and Java.

The shecodes workshops are very helpful, one gets to learn on their own pace. Being able to access the videos at any time has been very helpful to me because I can always go back to a previous lesson if I encounter any issues on my work. Being an adult in my 40's I was skeptical on giving this a go. But after some hard work, and watching the videos over and over, I was able to accomplish this. They provide you with so many resources and other people that are willing to help you on your journey

SheCodes is really great for people who are new to coding, the video tutorials are short and sweet so it is easy to grasp the content taught without zoning out. I love how after each and every lesson we are given a chance to apply what we learnt and this makes the workshop fun. In as much as the workshop is self paced, I love the idea of having deadlines put in place.

I started this workshop as a total beginner. The video material in each lesson made it easy to follow and to understand. I am glad to say that I am not a total beginner anymore😉 I enjoyed this workshop and would recommend it 100%

This course is not meant to be simple but it is a language and with practice and the great videos from Matt, you do get there and it's a lot of fun!
