I find this workshop very helpful as an introduction to coding. It nicely breaks down all the basics I needed to start learning to code. I recommend this Basic-workshop to anyone unsure if they would be interested to learn and just want to try things out. I also love the part where Matt touch on the subject of where to find answers, for example, MDN and how to solve issues yourself. But then again in my opinion it is introductory.
SheCodes has been a fantastic experience. It was my first time learning how to code and this workshop has made it very easy and entertaining. I would 100% recommend it to whoever is interested in coding. I can't wait to sign up for the next course!

From zero to budding Hero! 2 weeks ago, I knew nothing about creating even the simplest of webpages... Right now, I know so much and my mind has been opened to the possibilities of what can be done with codes. I highly recommend this basic course in order to get a good foundation for anyone who has never written a line of code before. I can't wait to delve into Shecodes Max next.

As a person who loves learning, this was the best! Matt is a gifted intstructor who will guide you into the world of coding with great ease and fun. At times, I felt like he was speaking to me in person, as he was predicting the mistakes I was going to make! The course allows you to improve and expand your knowledge. I can't believe how much I learned in just a few weeks, creating a portfolio site was a great final project. I really enjoyed the SheCodes lessons. I highly recommended SheCodes courses.
I keep getting surprised by how much I learn each week through these courses. Each time I'm ready to give up, a new way of coding is introduced and instantly catches my interest again. It's so satisfying seeing a project being built from the ground up and added to each week. I can't recommend SheCodes and Matt as an instructor enough!

The Basic Workshop had easy to navigate lessons, challenges, and homework. The program provides great support through Slack with quick response times from instructors and other users. The workshop was educational, reflective and fun. The challenges that were designed in almost every lesson encouraged me to be creative. It's the learning-by-doing approach that I like! I really enjoyed the course. It's well structured and paced in a way that allows it to fit it in busy life. I'm glad I found SheCodes. Thanks for the React course. It's very cool, very practical. And in general, although all your courses are going without live calls, but recorded, this is not a drawback. Everything is clearly and understandably explained. Also I got help from Slack-chat. Of the minuses, in my opinion, there is a lack of a theoretical part and preparation for an interview, or any recommendation to IT companies. So that at the end the girl has a greater chance of finding a job. But still your course is very worthy and useful. I wish you progress and all the best β€οΈ ππ»

This course was the most interesting and challenging for me. Matt definitely has a talent for getting people interested in coding, this workshop was no exception. This program was so easy to follow and straight to the point, I couldn't recommend it more to anyone who is even the slightest bit curious about coding.
