For the longest time I have wanted to get into coding but I was a bit intimidated and thought that I needed a formal IT degree in order for me to understand or to get started. I am happy to report that I was wrong 😁. The course material, course content and Matt were easy to understand and follow. I really enjoyed myself and I cannot wait to get started on the next course.
The main reason that I like this workshop is because it really supports your creativity. It supports your ideas and can make you a independent developer .

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. This course was both challenging and exciting to learn about. There was a few hiccups along the way but the structure of the course affords you the opportunity to apply your mind and think out the box to solve whatever challenge you face at a particular time. Overall the course was very fascinating and the delivery of course content is logical and you can follow the flow of the code make sense of how each function works and what output you can expect from that delivery.
I was very curious about this part and all my doubts were answered. Responsiveness is not as easy as it seems, but with a lot of trial and error you can get a decent result.
Highly recommended for begginers who want to be able to learn fast how to do a website. Very didatic and easily explained. I really loved it!! Very exited to keep developing my code skills with Matt. Thank you Matt and all the SheCodes team!
I really enjoyed doing this coding course. I want to appreciate Matthieu Delac and SheCodes team for creating a well structured course. The learning process was amazing and i enjoyed every step of the course. Learning coding has been difficult however, SheCodes made it easier.
I really enjoyed this course and the way it was taught. All the information was broken down into very digestible videos that were easy to follow, and we were provided with lots of of resources and ways to get in contact if there were things you didn't understand. This course really highlighted the scope for creativity, both in the extent to which you can personalise the design of a webpage, and also in the ways you can combine code to create really interesting functions. Overall, this course was very engaging, and I would really recommend it to anyone looking to broaden their skillset, or just looking for a new challenge!

After being totally mesmerised by the free one-hour introduction session by Matt, which I curiously signed up for, I am SO glad that I took the leap and enrolled in the SheCodes Basics course. It has ignited an excitement in me for the future of my career that I haven't felt in a long time! The course is also laid out and presented in an incredible way; super informative but also succinct and not overloading at all, and with me being a visual learner, I feel like I was really able to absorb everything that was demonstrated in the tutorial videos. In my 3 weeks of SheCodes basic I've gained a lot of information on how HTML ,CSS and JavaScript work , through out my life I used to copy codes on W3 Schools bit from now on I can create a website on my own and only look up some of the things.

SheCodes Basics was soooo fun! I found it very interesting how HTML elements and javascript works. Exploring all CSS options, color palettes and gradients was super fun playing around with the colors and refreshing the page to see what it looks like! SheCodes Basic was an excellent experience for me. The instruction videos were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges after each lesson were helpful in building up coding skills by focusing on specific components (such as if/else statements or classes). The homework assignments and final project pulled together all of the skills developed in the challenges without being overwhelming. I look forward to starting the next workshop!

This was really great! I'm very visual so getting to really customize the app was fun. Some of the features took me almost all day to figure out sometimes but ultimately it worked! And as usual, Matt is a great instructor. It's great to have the individual sections and build on each.
I am so glad I completed the Plus Add-On workshop. I learned how to use more advanced javascript and css, flexbox, moment js and timezones and I'm really proud of myself for completing this project.
