This Front-End Developer Portfolio Website is designed to showcase the web development skills and projects of a Front-End Developer. The website will include an Expertise section, a Works section, and a contact section. The Expertise section will include information about my experience, education, and other relevant information about me. The Works section will display any projects I have worked on, such as websites, applications, and other work. The contact section will provide my contact information, such as my email address, phone number, and social media links. The website will also feature a responsive design, ensuring it looks great on any device. The website will be built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
Easy to follow - self paced. I love that I can re-watch any or all of the exercise so I can get the information. It helsp with my learning.
This workshop was a lot of fun! Like the other addons, I found that this one also rounded out my skills and gave me a couple of new techniques to try out. Looking forward to starting React!
I have been learning from She Codes for the past month and it has been an invaluable experience. She Codes has given me the fundamental skills I need to start my IT career. Through their online tutorials, I have been able to learn the basics of coding and programming in an interactive, engaging way. The instructors are always available to answer questions and help me with any coding problems I might have. I have also had the opportunity to work with other students and participate in coding projects, which has been immensely helpful. Overall, She Codes has been an incredibly valuable tool in helping me gain the skills necessary to succeed in the IT field.

This is the hardest step so far! I made an effort to comprehend it and keep watching the videos, so I could follow along. I have to take a step back and not complete every requirement for the final tasks. From messing up my repository to understanding the value of grouping the div and span and naming those classes and id, I learned a lot from my mistakes. I appreciate the support staff's tolerance with my inquiries. Thank you so much!

However, the SheCodes workshop was beginner-friendly and well-structured. SheCodes has given me a solid foundation in coding and has opened up new opportunities for me in my career.
Although the classes were easy to understand, sometimes in the challenges i forgot some things, but i enjoyed learning code.
This workshop was such a blast to work through! The layout was straightforward and simple, which I loved. The program is easy to follow and the instructor explains the lessons very well. What was a pleasant surprise was the community of other ladies taking the courses as well! I loved having a space to talk and share ideas with other students of the course!
The instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to break down complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. The course also included hands-on exercises and projects, which helped solidify the concepts learned in the lessons.

The SheCodes Plus workshop has definitely been more challenging than the Basics one but is sure more rewarding. You get to learn powerful and extremely useful technologies such as the API: how to communicate with other applications, how to fetch data through the server and manipulate them according to your needs. SheCodes Plus unfold, in this way, the "mysteries" of these technologies, keeping its formula and method simple, clear and within everyone's reach. Also, another feature has been introduced to the SheCodes family which will make you love learning to code even more: Athena. I would recommend SheCodes Plus to anyone who want to deepen her coding knowledge and skills.

Amazing course!
It is an amazing course, whichever workshop you want to go for. Even if you already know some coding this is the most fun and useful workshop to continue with. And if you have no experience in coding the SheCodes Basic workshop is (to my mind) the best way to start with. It requires nothing and at the end it leaves you with a project that is coded by yourself and you’ll be much more confident for the next levels and you have had a lot of fun and enjoyed the learning. It is so easy to allow and it step by step, with challenges to make sure you learnt the subject which is super helpful.
I have really enjoyed exploring this "new world" of coding! This course is a great insight for someone that wants to explore the coding world, explore new possibilities, and get new skills! I will definitely consider upgrading for longer workshops! thank you matt and the team for the great lessons and this amazing course!
Challenging workshop
very challenging but intereting course
I loved the SheCodes basic course. It was a really fun learning experience. The video tutorials were very concise and easy to follow.
I took a very pleasant learning experience on introduction to programming through SheCodes, because the course is structured in a very dynamic and enjoyable way in which you do not need to have previous knowledge to know three of the main languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript and with the help of these create your own website in a basic way, plus each lesson is described in an easy and understandable way by Matt Delac, who also always tries to motivate you to achieve the challenge with his messages of encouragement. I, as a native Spanish speaker and with an intermediate level of English, was a little afraid at first not to follow the idea of the course, however despite my doubts and as I followed the classes, I have ended up positively surprised at how well thought out and organized is the learning platform in English. Now, I have enrolled in another compact course, which I am very curious to visit. Many thanks to the entire SheCodes team for their interesting work in imparting knowledge of the vast world of web development. Thanks also to SheCodes I have dared to lose my fear of programming.

Learning how to code from scratch was a lot more fun than I expected. I am very eager to learn more about the different types of coding there is to learn and the unlimited options I have for a future career.
I have always been intimidated to learn how to code. It always seemed too difficult to understand. I am glad I did my research and came across this program. I wanted to see how much I'd enjoy taking the Basics course so I signed up. I know there's still a lot to learn but I can see just how far I've come in using HTML, CSS, and JS. I'm really proud of my final project and even added in more features not required just to see if I could do it! I come from a heavy sales background so transitioning into this field may take more time for me to consider. Although I'm not sure where this will take me, I do feel confident if I ever wanted a developer career, that I'd be more than ready to take on a front-end role (as that still seems daunting to me at the moment). If you're unsure, at least give the basics a chance, especially considering the price point for the Basics program alone. It would be well worth it to explore this industry to make sure it's something you like or not.

Returning to the basics and completing the basics add-on was a refreshing experience for me, as it provided a much-needed breath of fresh air into the .js functions. In addition, I was also able to learn new things.
I started this course as a "true beginner" and I feel like I've learned SO much so far! The lessons and challenges are tricky BUT very manageable. I definitely recommend this course to women who work full-time and are looking for a course to take that works with their schedule.

I enjoyed this class. I had a lot of fun building websites and working more with styling techniques, responsiveness, and SEO. I also liked the section on website accessibility. This is not an area that I had experience with or understood the importance of previously.

I absolutely loved that I could experience a whole development process with each lesson leading up to the final project. I admit there was a moment or two of despair, but you get there eventually 😁 Javascript is definitely challenging and I'm just starting to grasp it. I come from under privilaged background where I could not afford to go to University. I was currently doing my Supply Chain Management course online and I met this lady on TikTok who spoke about SheCodes Foundation which helps woman to achieve a qualification as a Software developer. At first I was scared of that big name but I was anxious to know more. SheCodes came not as a stepping stone but made me realize what career I want to achieve. I thought it would be difficult but Matt simplified everything and made it easy to understand and not be scared of a black and green screen. I am very greatful.
