The responsive course confirmed my love for design and its endless possibilities of it. The course was well thought out, with enough guidance to point you in the direction of further learning. I ended up getting lost in the world of CSS and the creative ways to make websites responsive - though I wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of the Responsive course.
I am so grateful to this course for showing me React. I really enjoyed the React course, and though I found vanilla Javascript challenging, React's simplicity surprised me. The lessons were clear and well-paced, with enough time provided to finish the course within the allotted time frame. I am so happy with the final version of my Weather App, though I am sure there is so much more I can do once I develop my React knowledge.
I started SheCodes workshops with 0 idea of coding and after completing 3 levels I feel I am learning a lot super quickly. I love the lesson materials, homework and assistance we receive. It's helping me expand my knowledge so much in a field that was completely unknown for me.
I had super fun with the course! The videos are short and explain the material in just the right depth. The course is structured in such a way that you can manage your time very well without getting into a time crunch. The website is clearly laid out and fun to work with.
SheCodes Plus was an in-depth workshop. Appreciate all of the great examples.
I am a complete beginner to coding (minus some very basic CSS tweaks back in the days of tumblr) and I found this workshop to be simple yet challenging, straightforward & easy-to-learn, and overall, it really got me excited about a future in tech. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, and I will absolutely be continuing with the rest of the workshops SheCodes has to offer!
My husband is a web developer and has always encouraged me to learn how to code. I wasn't sure if I would like it so was looking for an introductory course that I could fit around working and being a mom of two young kids. I liked how I could do the lessons from home at times that suited me. The home work deadlines kept me accountable and encouraged me to stick to my learning schedule. Matt is a great instructor and my favourite part of the course was the challenges.

I highly recommend SheCodes Basic to anyone who's interested in web development. This course is a great introduction to HTML/CSS and JavaScript. The instructions were very easy to understand and follow. I took web development courses before and I wasn't really satisfied with them but I absolutely enjoyed this workshop.
First of all, when I got my courses I wasn't sure to start and what if I couldn't understand and result in just disappointment. But when I started to learn with this great and flexible schedule, all those feelings disappeared. I highly recommend this platform, just do it and start it. The introduction to coding workshop was very exciting and it was pretty awesome. I was able to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a short amount of time. Matt made it easy to understand and the lessons were well-organized and easy to follow. I liked that it had hands-on challenges as well as projects so I could really get a feel for what I was learning. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about web development. :) I am super ready for next step in my coding journey!

Each section is always something fresh and new. There is enough repetition to create muscle memory, but not so much that it is painful.
My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing. This workshop was super informative and the step by step exercises have made learning code simple! I would highly recommend SheCodes to any woman who wants to learn coding!

Not an easy workshop, but a very interesting one.
It was damn hard and took a lot of time to understand and finish 2 projects but it was really interesting) React and JS give such a huge field to try some new stuff and to do some experiments. Sometimes I was just losing track of time) But the course is really giving a lot of new knowledge and practical experience) Definitely will recommend it to my friends)

Round 3 of SheCodes workshops was as informative, interesting and entertaining as the first. I was able to use many of the HTML and CSS techniques we learned in Basics and Plus. I really enjoyed the creative freedom we got for this portfolio project. Though there were some moments of confusion and stress with my code, I was able to pull through with the help of Matt's lecture videos and the slack chats of fellow SheCodes students. I am really happy with my project and I can't wait to start on SheCodes React and Add-on projects.
I loved this workshop! I feel so much more prepared and knowledgeable on React, especially on VSCode, and feel like I can even start making my own projects on my own :) I will take what I've learned into new coding endeavors and future jobs!

This was a tough but rewarding add-on. As a person who uses dark theme on all platforms that allow it, I can't imagine not learning how to build a dark theme toggle button myself. So glad I did!

Seeing my first React projects live and working is a huge satisfaction, I have to admit. However, during the SheCodes React workshop, I felt I couldn't gain organic skills, as some crucial pieces of information were missing and some topics were treated quite hastily.
It was a great continuation of the Basic course, can't wait to start the next one and learn more 👩🏻💻

What I loved was that everything is explained very clearly and going through the workshop is very straightforward. You get plenty of moments to practice. I have to say that I really enjoyed this first contact with the programming area. The SheCodes program is super well structured and makes sure that we are not discouraged in the face of difficulties. Being able to attend classes when it suits us is definitely a big advantage. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back to deepen my knowledge in the area.

A really hectic week. Very challenging, very informative. I've learnt so much from Matt's classes, the program is very supportive. I also love how the team isn't spoonfeeding, and leaves room for you to consult other resources such as Google in order to find ways to deal with other challenges as well as be creative. Genuinely loved every step of the way.
Incredible fun workshop - I learned quite a bit and am eager to continue and practice everything Matt teaches.
Doing this course has really helped me feel like I'm finally getting somewhere with coding. I liked how the course was designed and all of the necessary support was available.
I found this workshop very intuitive and very enjoyable; Matt and his team did a really lovely job breaking everything down into digestible pieces. I'm so excited and proud to apply coding knowledge to personal projects now. As a designer, its nice to be able to make a site look exactly as you want it to, without many restrictions.

The shecodes Plus was so informational. So much information that I have learned in this course. It was an amazing experience creating a real life weather app.I still can't wrap my head around that I made a weather app.
Really enjoyed this course. I've done other similar courses through Udemy and Coursera and much prefer the hands-on, visual teaching style of SheCodes.
What a brilliant course to learn about something so fascinating - I'd have found it a real struggle to keep up with any other kind of teaching format. I've found it so enjoyable that I've finished much sooner than the length of 3 weeks and am keen to sign up to the next course!
