I highly recommend this workshop for those who want to get the idea of coding (start from basic workshop and upgrade slowly).
I really appreciate Shecodes family that they let Iranian people to use this incredible course freely. I had no front-end background and now I am able to make an amazing basic web page and find it interesting and amazing. Our instructor is a great man and incredible teacher and I'm so happy that I'm able to meet him.
The course is intuitive and very detailed; The proposed methodology greatly facilitates learning. If you are afraid to start, I will tell you do not wait any longer, it is a great opportunity to start in the world of programming

I had a lot of fun using the Weather API and creating a weather App. I have learned so much in a short space of time! Will defo try out other API's in the future and create other apps with them.
Great Workshop for Beginners like myself. It is easy to learn at my own pace, the video are clear and easy to follow. I was surprised how easy it can be, would recommend to all those who wants to learn how to code!

It was an amazing journey to learn designing an application from the beginning to end. Although this is not the end of my learning process, I loved coding with Matt and would totally recommend it to anyone eager to learn from a wonderful teacher.
This is the first time I've understood Javascript basics, practically. After getting my Bachelor's in Business Information Systems, I had taken a course or two in programming languages and it went right over my head. Not this time! I actually get it and I am excited to learn more!
SheCodes Basic provides an introduction into HTML, CSS and Javascript, providing the necessary tools to start building basic websites that perform a handful of tasks.
I enjoyed this course and learned so much! It's a very in-depth class - I now have a great understanding of many basics of web development. It also made me excited to keep learning more. I highly recommend this class!

Best decision to try SheCodes Basics! I wasn't sure if I wanted to try out coding but SheCodes Basics is the perfect introduction into this world. It was a lot of information to soak in but Matt breaks it down into manageable chunks so you don't feel too overwhelmed. I definitely feel like you need to & should keep practicing so that you have a more solid understanding but, it makes me happy to think that just 3 weeks ago I didn't know what HTML, CSS & Javascript was and how to use it -- now I do!
This level was not easy for me. I didn't understand a lot and put off completing the task. I recommend it to those who already have a fairly serious base. The course is structured sequentially and the explanations are detailed.
This provided a lot of good information for the next step in trying to find a career in tech.
I can't thank enough the SheCodes team for this opportunity. Matt's way of teaching is easy to understand, and impossible to forget! I'm happy that I'm slowly getting closer to my front-end developer dream. I definitely rate this course 10 out of 10.
Another project, done! I am very pleased with how much I am learning from SheCodes and how exciting it is when I submit another project. These add-on projects are perfect in allowing you to use a lot of what you have learned in the past to create something new.

SheCodes Plus is a great experience for me. I learned a lot while working on weather forecasting project. It requires consistency and patience to complete the workshop and developing the project from scratch to a fully functional version of it. Matt has given great insights on planning, designing, development of a project and industry best practices. I also got to know about InVision freehand tool, Bootstrap framework, DevOps and How to continuously develop and deploy project using GitHub and Netlify. After completing SheCodes Plus I feel more confident in frontend web development and excited to learn more and improve my skills.
The Dictionary is very interesting to build, even more so for someone in love with languages, words and meanings! I liked learning to integrate the 2 APIs used in this project a lot. The moment when the console gets a response is magical!
I'm so glad I did the add-on! I feel like it really put me to the task with my knowledge from the previous workshop and I got to learn and try some new things, too! If you're a little unsure about doing the add-on, I'd recommend going for it because you have nothing to lose and so much to gain (like another portfolio piece and several new concepts in html, css, and java). I also leveraged the lessons to build final project with Matt throughout the add-on, so it's not a heap load of work after finishing the lessons.
It was indeed a great adventure going on the ride with instructor Matt on the SheCodes training. 🌺 I love every bit of it. As a first timer in coding, i really find coding more exciting 🥰 It's a great class indeed. All thanks to SheCode for the opportunity given🙌

SheCodes has been one of the best decisions i have ever made. When i started , i had 0 knowledge about coding but through this course i have gained some valuable coding skills. Eight weeks ago, I could only code without hosting or using GIT. The Eight weeks is super worth all the time, energy and challenges during the course. Building an application in React was as fun as it was challenging, but I learned a lot. The code can be a lot more sophisticated then it seems and the use of logic is so much more prominent. I enjoyed this workshop as much as those before React.

This was challenging, yet fun! At one point, I did become stuck and wanted to just forget about completing the workshop. However, the SheCodes community is behind you with assistance to help you become unstuck and keep moving! When I completed the project and saw what I accomplished, I was indeed proud of myself for not quitting midway.
I really enjoyed this add-on workshop, it was very easy to follow and I gained some more experience with the JavaScript functions and timezones.

SheCodes has been AMAZING thus far! I have zero coding experience or background (just simply an interest in coding). I was seeking to transition from an entirely new career outside of healthcare to a more technical/IT career path. I've learned so much throughout this workshop. When I started at SheCodes my thoughts were that I would like to gain some basic knowledge in the field, just for fun - now I can't get enough of coding. It was hard for me to coding before I join to shecodes ,but now I have a wonderful feeling about this new skill and all of it because of shecodes.
I really enjoyed this course and building the weather application was a great learning experience. The more time I spent with the demo material and also troubleshooting on my own, the easier I found the concepts to understand. When my code didn't work as expected, I really enjoyed diving in to problem solve independently before looking elsewhere for the solution, and this course helped grow my confidence to do so! I am excited to learn more :)
As someone who knew nothing about coding before taking this workshop, I did not expect it to be so easy to follow along. While I did have some hiccups along the way, I am looking forward to continuing my road in coding with SheCodes. 😊

Another 🔥 workshop! Matt really is a great teacher, he really desconstructs the process of learning how to code. I enjoy taking his workshops and learned alot on responsive design in this one. I would not have believed you if you told me I could learn to code, even just the fundamentals, in three weeks. SheCodes has been phenomenal. It truly makes learning enjoyable, with excellent projects that are both challenging and fun.
