I decided to join SheCodes to learn something new and do not regret it! The course is so easy to follow and encouraged me to develop my skills in coding. Very good interface, you can easily find the video. Things are described very well, so I could understand. Good structure of studying material, all things are followed after each other. Helpful challenges even though not every one was funny to do.
I would highly recommend this course to those who like eating an elephant in small pieces step by step, if you have lack of time for concentrative learning.
After becoming quite intrigued about the dazzling world of Information Technology through my expat students, I decided to take this course to dip my toes into coding. I REALLY enjoyed it! It's very well set-up and totally beginner-friendly. The length of the videos is perfect and I like that you are constantly challenged to put your new knowledge into practice. I loved these 3 weeks of coding workshops! I've learnt so much and the format makes it really enjoyable. It is very clear, user-friendly and the examples used are simple. Loved the length of the videos, they are quite short so it makes the course super easy to fit in a busy timetable. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in coding 😄

i think discussed functions were really useful, but the learning process is a bit off. tasks basically require you to repeat everything you have already done in the video. We build up functions in a very confusing way, add them, and get rid of them. We have spent so much time to learn how to switch F to C just so we can get rid of that at the end......
I attended very interesting workshops. The explanations were easy and good. Also there were interesting tasks.
I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!
It was challenging but still fun because it helps you think out of the box and help you do hard things. Putting my growth mindset to use was one of the things I loved most.

It's good that there are lessons for consolidating already acquired knowledge. The last week was easy for me. It was only necessary to re-watch the lessons and consolidate knowledge.

This is an excellent course. I learned a few new techniques and practiced the OpenWeatherAPI. The course has a convenient organization that helps personal time management. I'm a bit stuck with parametrized callback functions in axios but found a solution by googling. Thanks a lot.
SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to learn coding to develop my skillset, increase creativity and improve cross-department collaboration with the development and product teams. All of the challenges and practical exercises were extremely helpful in putting what you learnt to the test! SheCodes made something that was quite intimidating to me, very fun and interesting! Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!
I've completed all 4 courses with SheCodes. I've taken a variety of online coding courses in the past and SheCodes has easily been the best. Each course has been easy to understand and follow along, the challenges help you apply what you've just learned and the projects have been fun to complete.

That course was my first acquaintance with IT. I've liked that I can make home tasks in my free time. The way of teaching is very clear and kind if I can use such an adjective in this case. The amount of knowledge in three weeks is several times more useful than what is held at universities. In general, the course made me want to buy some more courses. Thank you a lot for your job.
It was an unforgettable learning experience! Matt's lessons whith the with the small steps technique made it possible to master quite difficult material. I will missing this learning, because SheCodes are great workshops. I am proud of my project and proud to have graduated. I hope that this is just the beginning of my Front-end developer career.
I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!
Learning React and practicing all these technics with SheCodes and Matt was an incredible journey. I couldn't even imagine 3 months ago that I would be able to create projects like this. Matt is an amazing teacher, he can arouse interest in programming from the very first lesson and give a chance to start a new life with new career opportunities in tech. Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.
