I had been interested in coding for a long time but I never really found a program that was easy to follow and was hands-on at the same time. I would definitely recommend this workshop for all women who are new in this field!
So much knowledge and information given, granted it was difficult but seeing the final results whilst understanding the processes are very rewarding!
Same as SheCodes Basic and Plus, I had a wonderful experience with SheCodes Responsive. I improved my HTML and CSS skills and learned how to build responsive websites. As always, Matt was super helpful and made every lesson fun.
I always wanted to learn how to code but felt that would be hard and only for "genious". But now, it's incredible to see how much I have learned in just 3 weeks!

I was initially nervous about taking on learning to code as it seemed complicated, but I wanted to give it a go. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning, Matt is a great teacher and breaks it down so well - he also compares it to real life scenarios sometimes which makes it easier to understand. You have plenty of time to learn and submit homework/projects while maintaining work/life balance. I love what I have learnt so far and plan on upgrading to a bigger course.
The SheCodes Workshop Basic is an amazing first introduction to coding and programming. Easy to follow and hands-on! I have learnt so much and I´m glad that I have life-time access to the lessons so I can freshen up my knowledge whenever I need to. Thanks Matt! :)

I did the Basics workshop and I think it's a great way to learn about the very first initial steps in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. PS. The training video make it easy to understand what is going on. There is always SheCodes support to help you when something doesn't make sense. I feel even though this is an online training platform, you will have so much support like if it was in person.

The Plus course was really difficult yet fun. I felt that it was a huge jump from the Basic to this. Just to make one function work, I spent hours and hours. In the end, it was worth doing! I wish I could have added some advanced features to my weather app but I feel accomplished. I learned so many things from Matt and other students. It'd have been tougher without them.
I have really enjoyed my time exploring what coding is all about. Matt does a great job breaking things down step by step!
I had a great learning experience with SheCodes. I am currently working on getting my bachelors as a Software Developer. I come from an Ultrasound tech background and decided to switch careers. I love coding and I definitely am looking forward to learning more.

I was looking to enhance my professional skills and a colleague of mine recommended I start learning how to code. I was very skeptical, because I have absolutely no background training in coding!! But they were confident that I code learn if I put in the work. By the time I signed up for SheCodes and committed myself to the process, I became more optimistic in my ability to learn how to code. I love the direct and to the point lessons. Being able to complete the challenges immediately after learning the material is very helpful and seeing Matt work through the solution is great! I was nervous to start this process, but now I am eager to continue my coding journey!!

I definitely enjoyed the course! It was so easy to follow and understand the content. I could set up my own schedule, which was very important to me, since I work a lot. But there were some days when I literally would sit entire afternoon and go lesson after lesson - and not because I'm a procrastination queen. As someone coming in here with absolutely 0 experience with coding or computers as I'm a professional nail technician of 22 yrs experience. Never in my life did I think I would be doing coding almost in my 40s, I have to say this has been an amazing experience and i cant wait to start my next journey with SheCodes+

The React course is the third course I have taken at SheCodes. It was very difficult in between and often you had to take a short break. After that it went on very well and after each video you became more confident and understood React more. I can only highly recommend the course and am glad that I was able to do it. Learning coding with SheCodes has been an interesting journey. The simplicity of the lessons and Matt's teaching appoach makes it easy for an absolute beginner like myself to catch up fast. I look forward to taking part in the subsequent workshops.
The course is great! The best part of it is to have access to the community in Slack, so you don't feel alone when you are stuck in your code. I really enjoyed studying and will def recommend it!

It's quite intriguing to see how a design builds up from just a few fuzzy html lines to a fully designed web page with styling. The process hits differently when you have a guide who walks with you throughout the process as opposed to when you're trying to do it in solitude. I am eternally grateful to the team at SheCodes for walking with me.

This program is excellent for starters looking to get a foothold on their understanding of coding! I feel like I've learned a lot about HTML, CSS, and Javascript! I'd like to look into Shecodes+ once I have some more reliable financing, but for free options, this is an excellent choice!

I'm really glad I continued with SheCodes Plus after completing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! It was amazing that I got to see code from scratch turn into a functioning application. The videos are very clear and I appreciate the self pace that allows me to practice my front end development skills while juggling work.
I highly recommend this class who anyone who wants to step up their front-end development game. By creating a responsive portfolio, not only was I able to showcase my development skills, but I was simultaneously able to create a portfolio/resume website for myself. Win-win!
I really am excited about coding now that I've gone through this basics course! It was the right ratio of challenging to empowering. I felt there was never too much thrown at me at once, but I was still being pushed. I love the aesthetics of this whole workshop which kept me glued along with the community behind it being super supportive. Excited to do more.

I'm so much more confident in my coding, especially with the responsive workshop. I know how to learn on my own and continue coding to the best of my abilities thanks to SheCode's help. This was a super interesting and fun workshop with a lot of different challenges that took me out of my comfort zone but in the end, helped me improve my problem-solving skills and ability to reverse-engineer design files.
