SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience! The lessons are structured in a way I believe really helps you to gain an understanding of each particular topic, but most of all they are easy to understand and exciting to complete. I feel like I have learned so much during this workshop! I can't quite believe that just over a month ago I had no clue what each different coding language did and now I have built a weather app! I am so grateful to SheCodes for their fantastic workshops which have helped me secure my first role as a junior software developer! I can't wait to dive right into the next workshop!

A great course, not as comprehensive as the others, which is why it was a shorter duration, I would have liked a bit more fleshed-out lessons for Flexbox. I would have prefered if some of the 'informative lessons' from weeks 1&2 were a bit more comprehensive and then have the code-along lessons from weeks 3-5 be a bit more concise instead. I think the duration could have been cut down by a week. Overall it was informative and useful.
I'm amazed by the fact that I have learned so much in such time. I'm grateful for this opportunity. 🦄👩💻
I appreciate the structured classes that give you a chance to practice what you learn by coding in challenges and finally in weekly homework assignments. Matt has a good teaching style that shows you how to approach coding assignments and test to see if its working in a step by step manner that I think beginners, and those that might just jump in or are a bit further along in their coding journey can appreciate. When you don't know the first thing about coding, it is beneficial to have that guidance. I found that his calm approach to problems/error messages that popped up in the console while coding had an affect on me, reminding me to be calm in approaching challenges in the future as I try to figure out the solution. It was beneficial to hear that it's not something we have to freak out over.
This course was awesome! Matt has such a great way of explaining things in a way that make it very clear and easy to understand. The format with small videos on individual topics, so you learn one concept at a time is great.
It was a very fun journey to learn coding through this workshop with SheCodes. Every challenge of each lesson helped me a lot to understand more. I enjoyed it and I'm very excited to continue this journey.

Thanks to SheCodes and the whole team. These months were so great and I learned so much in such a short time. I always wanted to get more inside into the coding world and struggled to find the right set up. With SheCodes I finally could find the right structure. I really appreciated the weekly learnings with listening and then directly practicing the new learned topics in small challenges, bigger homeworks and finally also projects. Thank you so much for this environment.
Even though this course was challenging, there was plenty of help to get me through my problems!
A few lessons were not my cup of tea to be honest and made me sweat but once you break through those (with taking a LOT of breaks in between), a whole new world opens up. That is how I can sum up the Plus workshop. I've learnt a lot and never been happier for signing up for this one! So looking forward to the next workshop!

I came to SheCodes as a complete novice. And while I won't say I'm an expert, the video lessons and community support allow students to learn confidence in a supportive and clear environment.
This workshop really helped fill in some gaps in my learning when it came to responsive design. I am excited to see this bring my work to the next level.
It was so fun learning coding through this workshop! 🙌🏻 I learned a lot and had an amazing experience! Each exercise had informative videos and challenges paired with each one which was a great way to practice along the way. 10 out of 10 recommend!
This workshop is very suitable for beginners. Matthieu also gave many of his own tips along the way. I liked that there were exercises to complete after each lessons so that we could practice it and they were not simply copies of what was taught in the lesson. I also liked the breakdown of lessons and the appealing color/style of the entire workshop. Can't wait to continue my journey with SheCodes! Just take note that if you are a slow-er learner like me, you could be taking more than the stipulated hours a week.
It feels great to complete the Plus course! It was very challenging but it feels amazing to have completed it.
I am extremely glad I did this workshop and it was absolutely worth it. I had a great time learning a new skill and exploring options for my career.
SheCodes is very well paced, I was able to catch on the theories without major difficulties. Matt's sessions have been very interesting to watch along and it was easy to digest for someone like me who has zero coding background. I'm excited to move forward to the next level with SheCodes!

This was super fun and interactive, as a learner you are walked through each step. I really enjoyed the course!
This journey with coding has been a challenging one, but I enjoyed it. I learned a lot and along the way Matt always say to enjoy it and he explains everything in a simple and step-by-step. And finally, I'm done and ready for the next challenge.
Plus course is a different level compared to basic. I struggled for a couple of weeks with the Javascript parts, and I needed to take some time to digest all the contents. However, I'm glad that I managed to finish the final project in the end!

I just completed the SheCodes Plus course, and I like coding even more now : ) Matt made the journey easy and really kept me motivated even in tricky situations. I approach the challenge as a 'fun' thing to do, which also help me keep at ease and think things through. I am so looking forward to completing the next 2 courses. I want to make a special mention to Joao and Bruno. They helped me through out this journey with any questions/issues I had, they are very knowledgeable and keen to help in my time of need. :)

SheCodes Responsive has been a tremendous help with gaining more real world and hands on experience for developing a website from the ground up. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has even the slightest curiosity into web development and coding.
I have been wanting to join the world of coding for a long time and was not sure where to begin. I found SheCodes and upon learning about how organized, supportive and FUN it was I decided to take the jump and begin my journey! Really enjoyed how this is course is set with the homework and the easy user experience of the website / uploading.
I have thought for YEARS that it is time to get more tech-savvy, but it has always seemed like an impossible mission as I don't really have any pre-existing skills. That was until I stumbled across SheCodes. I was nervous before I started my basic course, but it went so much better than I could have predicted! Matt breaks it all down and I really love the little challenges you have to complete as you go through the lessons. It's crazy how much I've learned over the last three weeksI have already signed up for SheCodes Plus + React and can't wait to start!

It was quite challenging for me to start this journey, I wasn't sure if I would be able to do it. So much loved the course, and the way Matt explains every level, slack also has been very useful, and always helpful.
I have always felt extreme trepidation around coding because it was something I just assumed I would not be able to do. I took a chance and came to a workshop and now I have to admit I am hooked. The workshops challenge me in a way that I have been looking for and I am proud of my journey so far. I cannot wait for the next set of workshops and to learn more.

It was a great experience and I´m looking forward to my next course starting in January. Everything was well explained nad I realy liked the challenges to check if Ireally understood the lesson.
There was a fair bit of debugging and JavaScript, so patience is needed. But React is a lot of fun and once you've got an app running, it changes your mindset especially all the times you might have pulled your hair out. Matt walks through everything so it's clear how things are done and why it's done that particular way. Highly recommend this learning path and SheCodes!
The Responsive workshop was a little bit challenging for me. But with a great teacher every thing looks fine.

I had a lot of fun learning coding. Lesson are simple, fun and effective. Matt is great and fun instructor. And if you need help, you can get it from excellent instructors and other students. I did not feel like I was only learning, but that I was part of something great. I am so happy I did this.

I've been trying to start learning code for a few years and each time stopped because it was overwhelming, boring, difficult and the end result was a little black screen with "hello world" written on it. SheCodes changed the whole picture for me. Not only I enjoyed the workshop, I also intend to finish all the available workshops. The whole learning process was fun, easy to learn, empowering and the end result is stunting. I honestly never thought I could build something like that.
The program was easy to understand and enjoyable. I feel that I learned a good deal, and have a much better understanding of the field of programming and what front vs. back-end developing is (I came here with zero background). I look forward to continuing to learn.
This was really fun. I loved working on one project for a longer time and making the website my own. 😁
I have really enjoyed learning about React and I am excited for the next stage of my coding journey. I'm so sad that my learning with SheCodes is now over but I am really inspired to keep learning about React and hopefully find a job in this field!
I think Matt does an excellent job of teaching the basics and providing you with the knowledge base to be able to go learn the rest! My only complaint is that I can't learn more languages from him and that this is the last class!

This was my first time coding and I got hooked! The three weeks basic course was a great to way to get started. A big thanks to the SheCodes team for all the help along the way.
This project was definitely more challenging than SCBasics. There was a few times that even the the instructor Matt was figuring things out along the way with us and that was exciting/validating to see. I am proud of my project and what I have managed to achieve along side the SheCodesPlus program. I look forward to keep playing and tweaking it on my own in the near future with my newly acquired skill set.
It's amazing how much you can learn in only 3 weeks. It was all really well explained, I enjoyed the videos and exercises so much. Also had a lot of fun with the final project.
A great course with lot's of implications. Easy to follow and easy to integrate in the busy working day. The mixture between theory and practice, but specifically the constant practical application makes this course really special.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Responsive, it was a good addition to things I've learned before and great fun! I loved playing around with different layouts and even though it was sometimes frustrating if it didn't do what I wanted it to do, that feeling you get when you finally figure it out - it's the best!
SheCodes Introduction to Coding class was really interesting and easy to follow. I am a total novice in the world of coding, but the way Matt explains each part of the course really helps you understand what you need to do, and what is the point of it. Loved every moment of it!
A great way to learn basic coding! The videos are easy to follow but are filled with information. You really learn a lot in a short amount of time.
Matt Delac is a dedicated professional who makes programming look easy. This course has helped me understand and troubleshoot applications better. After these lessons, I look at everything differently, not only at a user-end way, but also on how to make improvements at a professional and functional level.
I found this project super rewarding to build and it really made me appreciate the complexity of some of the code required for weather applications like this one. The course was delivered in easy to follow sections and has hugely improved my confidence with JavaScript!

I feel like a have learned so much about front end development and API integration in just 8 weeks. It is great that the course is very hands-on, where you have to do everything on your own. 🙌 As a UX Designer & Business Analyst it is great, to get insight of what developers work with on a daily basis. This is a very good course that will have you creating but, more importantly, understanding the basics of coding. There are, of course, positives and negatives of it being self-paced and not live, but all in all, it is a great experience!

I am enthusiast to be part of such a multicultural platform dedicated to women wanting to grow and develop. Until now the Introduction to Coding activated my appetite for UI Development and filled my luggage of knowledge. I look forward the next part eager to accumulate more knowledge and programming skills.

The tools presented are of great value to me, I thank the entire SheCodes team for their effort, patience and performance, they have opened my eyes to better self-learning experiences, you are definitely the basis for my training in the huge world of web development, I highly recommend that if you are interested in discovering what is the world of web development, do it with SheCodes, everything is explained in detail and the tips are practical and applicable, maybe I would delve a little deeper into the use of commands in the terminal, always read the documentation helps a lot! My way through SheCodes was the right and necessary one, I have done everything from the beginning to the end, project after project from the basic level to the final project in React, and don't see how fast the time has passed, now I am able to find a place in the various projects that exist near me, and at the moment I am learning to work in a team of people with more tracks involved, this is another major challenge, to develop ideas. knowing nothing about coding to being able to code a page by myself is definitely something i never expected. This interactive workshop of about 3 weeks of basics are definitely useful for anyone who is interested in going for front-end. Matt, thanks for being the coolest instructor ever. Though, these are recorded sessions, i personally found them very interactive. But one thing for sure, consistency is the key. Looking forward for the advanced workshops ✌️ 😁.

Although I don't need coding at my work I thought it will be a great opportunity to learn something new that perhaps I could use in the future - you never know right? :) SheCodes is a phenomenal course! It introduces you to coding in a very understandable and clear way. Thanks to many challenges you can not only revise what you learned but also practise coding and get familiar with it. Matt explains everything very well. Furthermore you are a part of the Slack community where you can always ask for help if you are stuck with your code and the people there are always happy to help you! Before this course I didn't know anything about coding and now I created my very first page!
