What an enjoyable experience! π As a graphic/website designer I knew the very basics and have "winged" my way up until this point on my own website and learning along the way for client work. I still learnt SO much during this basics course that has given me complete clarity and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and more confidence in my abilities and work. The classes are super easy to follow and the projects are really satisfying as you can (literally) see the results of your hard work. Thank you Matt for creating such an excellent platform to learn with. Cannot wait to complete the rest of the courses!

Great, approachable way to get into coding. I felt like there was a helping hand available if I needed it, but also encourage to find the answers yourself. Great practical exercises and very helpful to see a solution video of Matt explaining his logic and method of approaching a coding exercise as opposed to just 'getting the answer to it' - that's very valuable for a novice coder to see how an experienced coder would approach the same problem.
That was a very interesting project! Day by day I feel myself more self-confident in coding. Cannot wait to start SheCodes+π» Good luck to everybody in coding!!ππ
Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.

After taking the previous workshops with Shecodes, this add-on workshop helped me really sharpen my vanilla CSS skills and made me more comfortable with its tools. It helped me strengthen my web design fundamental skills. Workshop went at a comfortable pace while also pushing you to build a webpage in a few days.
I can't describe how useful and practical this course was for me. As someone who had no knowledge of coding, I was able to easily learn and apply the concepts. The positive point of this course was that it was divided into short sessions. There were also very good challenges that helped to consolidate the content in my mind. Thanks, Matt! SheCodes Basic is the best workshops to learn coding as a beginner! The videos are very easy to understand. also homework is simple if you watch the related video.

Thank you for providing the opportunity to learn React. It was by far the most challenging out of all the workshops, but I feel it was a valuable skill to gain. The lessons from Matt were well-guided and I was able to follow them along the way. After starting with SheCodes Basic 13 months ago, I feel I have come a long way and now more confident in applying my newly gained front-end skills to my job.
Still loving SheCodes. This course set me up with so much knowledge in a short space of time. It didn't feel particularly challenging to learn, but before I knew it I could code a whole responsive website from scratch. I particularly enjoyed following the step by step lessons when working towards the final project. I was able to use the foundations of the final project to create my own CV website in order to start applying for jobs.
This portion of the SheCodes program was instrumental to my knowledge as a coder. Being able to explain the tips and tricks of creating responsive applications in such a concise way was exactly what I needed! Thank you SheCodes!!

This was a great starting point for me to discover if I could "code". I loved the way the lessons built on from one another in a logical sequence allowing me to build my knowledge in a way that wasn't overwhelming which kept me engaged & eager to move on to the next topic.

Great to learn about making a website responsive with practical challenges
This has been my favourite course so far. I have found it so much fun and educational to make apps and websites responsive and mobile-friendly. I'm now looking forward to going back through my past projects and applying the new skills I have learnt from this responsive course.
I felt nervous to start this at first, but after, I fall in love with coding. I felt like I was able to create an application that could make a huge difference in our everyday life. I will continue to learn more about the different types of language in coding, and I hope to make my goal come true. This was, in fact, an amazing experience for me.

This workshop has been really eye-opening. I wanted to try coding, but I didn't want to have to make a huge commitment, only to decide that I didn't enjoy it. But this three-week course has given me the confidence to believe that I can do so much more with this. I would love to pursue more and hopefully switch full-time to a career in tech!

Thank you for this oportunity of leaning new technologies and techniques! React in fact is complex in content but has such simple lines of code that sometimes it seems easier than plain JS. It sure is challenging and there is a feeling that this is just the begging of the journey and that there is always more to learn, practice and consolidate.
The pace of the workshop was great. Each week built off the previous in a manageable and never overwhelming way.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus! I enjoyed working hard on the challenges and finishing the project creating a weather app practicing many new things. In this workshop I have also learned how to communicate with other developers, the tools that exist and how to search for my own resources when I am stuck in one of the tasks. Now I'm encouraged and inspired to study coding more than before. Can't wait to continue my studies with the next workshops.
It was one of the best courses I have ever attended π». The training was short and full of content.
Very challenging, but it was also quite fun! Seriously, I feel quite lost in the middle of the course because the javascript code was quite hard to understand π But the slack, github documentation and the course video were my hero. It was really helping me to understand the code bit by bit. If I don't understand the code yet, I just need to replay the video or read the code documentation. And so glad π€ that SheCodes have extension feature. I got quite sick for almost two weeks and need to be hospitalised because my condition didn't not get any better at home. I was still learning in week 4 at that time and need to request an extension for my homework. So I can focus at my recuperation, the extension feature was really a big help.

It was a really interesting course and I learnt a lot. Some moments were frustrating, but I managed to solve the problems.
This workshop was really fun and interesting! I feel like I learned a lot! I relearned many things in a different and more simple way than I did in my first semester of my web design and development classes in my university. I also learned many things or ways I never knew before! Overall, this workshop was really useful, interesting, and fun! It really reinforced the basics I already knew and taught me so much more. I hope to continue learning more in the other workshops and improving my skills and knowledge further and further!
