Enthusiastically embraced Shecode Basics despite project challenges and initial coding difficulties. I am grateful for constant support from the Shecode team, labeling it the best bootcamp. Currently enjoying classes and assigned tasks.
I've been very curious about learning code for years. But I also dreaded it a lot. I expected a steeper learning curve. Instead, I found that I am enjoying it enormously. I should thank Matt for this, as he showed me that coding can be fun. As the dawn of AI is upon us, I believe that programming languages and human-computer interactions will take their essential places in school curriculums.
The SheCodes Plus Workshop has made my life even more colorful. JavaScript needs time, and once you get a hang of it you get to enjoy and get excited when a function you called works. I am enjoying every task and learning simultaneously, which is a privilege. And now we code on ...

I loved SheCodes! I work as a project manager and scrum master in software development, however, I always struggled to follow the conversations between developers because I had no technical background. This course has helped me learn the basics, and be able to do better at my job! I have made a weather app, the information for today is accurate. You can type any place and you can see what the weather conditions are for that place in this current time. You see also the weather at your current place, with just one click, by pressing on the button on the right of the screen. I hadn't enough time for the weather forecast at first, but later on, I managed to add the forecast as well. 😁
This was my first time coding and i thoroughly enjoyed the process. The lesson were short and very effective. I can't wait to see all the things i can now create :). I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you just starting out.
I've learnt so much in the SheCodes Plus AddOn. I feel like the learnings from the other courses have finally clicked and I can't wait to experiment more.

The grids were a good addition to my skillset - now I can arrange images in ways I wasn't able to before.
Challenging! It was a tougher module, but I was able to look at others' examples, so it helped. I would suggest taking a lot more time for the homework since it will help with the final project.

I had a good experience in learning coding with shecodes. At first I had some complications on working on the challenges but the more I got used to learning resources provided like the videos,reference sources etc; I then knew what to do. Just do yourself a favour and tell a friend to tell a friend that shecodes is providing well equipped skills for web developers and then enjoy coding together with your pals. I would love to spread the energy.

Another brilliant workshop, which has allowed me to practise my nascent React skills again. It's been such fun developing my dictionary app step by step, utilising skills from previous workshops, and seeing everything come together at the end.

I have really enjoyed the 3 weeks course. I started knowing nothing about coding; it looked very daunting and overwhelming however now I can't wait to start the next level and learn more! I really enjoyed SheCodes Basics, and found it much easier and more interesting than I anticipated! The short, bitesized lessons are the key to its success, meaning you never have to sit through more than c.15minutes of material in one go if you don't want to (but you do!)

I enjoyed this workshop! It wasn't overwhelming and was structured to allow you to continue to apply what you learned. The Slack channel was very helpful in checking if one of your questions had already been answered or if you wanted to ask a question about your code, the support available was great. Additionally, all of the resources Matt provided came in handy throughout the whole of the workshop. Overall, it was a great experience and I would 100% recommend this course for anyone learning to code for the first time or those wanting a refresher like myself!
In this AI Add-On I learned how to build an AI generator with an API, besides leaning how to manipulate with JS. It was great.
This course was a fun one. I was able to make a landing page for my business. There was a lot of trial and error plus figuring out what was wrong but it was a fun & new experience.
The SheCodes basics workshops provided a great baseline understanding for HTML, CSS and Javascript. I can now build on that in the future, and use it to help boost my career prospects.
It is incredible how simple it is to understand Matthieu's classes, even when he says "please pay attention because it might be a little confusing" 😄 SheCodes definitely changed my life and made me pursue a different career than what I thought I was meant to be. What stood out for me was the comprehensive exploration of JavaScript and its APIs, bridging the gap between mere coding and actual design implementation. The course was undoubtedly challenging, pushing my boundaries beyond the basic courses I had taken earlier. However, the practical exercises were instrumental in highlighting my growth. The hands-on approach, especially with complex JavaScript functionalities, solidified my learning and boosted my confidence. A significant part of this learning journey was the integration of GitHub. This platform was not just a repository for my code; it became a dynamic learning tool. GitHub tracked my progress, pinpointed errors, and, most importantly, showcased my accomplishments. The visual representation of my progress was not only motivating but also a powerful testament to how much I had learned and achieved.
Enjoyed the basic add-on lessons. I find it very useful in solidifying the fundamental knowledge, especially for the Javascript.
I joined this add-on workshop after I completed the Basics Workshop and honestly I loved this course and it was so nice to dig a little bit deeper in the world of HTML, CSS and JS. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who would love to further their skills.

I found this course to be more at my speed (no javascript) and helpful. I know I could make a website portfolio for somebody else and/or a business and make it look decent. I had to do an extension because I was trying to go above and beyond with no real time to actually do the work. But I don't regret it I'll just get back to it when I do have the time.
React adds a whole new level to code. Really cool to see what all you can do!

But I decided to pursue my passion for coding and take a software course anyway. It was tough at first, but I was determined to succeed. I found a supportive community of like-minded women online, and I used my experiences to create a platform for other women who wanted to break into tech.

It was very fun to do! I have a physics and arts background, but I was always afraid of coding. This was a great into into programming! I do think there should be a variety of steps that are easy to track back to for when a busy person returns and needs a quicker refresher.
