These first three weeks of SheCodes have been a pleasure for me. The way the workshops are planned is perfect to fit into my already active and busy life, and it's a great feeling to see yourself progress with each lesson and witness every change made to the code materialize on the page. Matt's "to the point" style of teaching is also a great plus. This whole experience has given me so much enthusiasm to keep going, keep coding, and see what else I can create with an idea and a few lines of code! I learnt many new CSS techniques with SheCodes Basics AddOn and it also helped me to improve the HTML and CSS techniques i've learnt on SheCodes Basics. Matt's a great instructor and the lessons are easy to follow. I really enjoyed coding the final project and i'm excited to add it on my portfolio.

SheCodes basic course was a very good experience for me as a beginner. I started with no idea how HTML, CSS and JavaScript looks like but now I can proudly create some basic interesting things having a lot of fun and learning at the same time. I like how Matt has broken down sections into smaller parts making it easier for me to understand concepts and apply what I learnt before going to the next section. This was the best workshop ever. I can't wait to join the other courses.
I learnt a lot about React during this course and although some parts were challenging, Matt's explanation and SheCodes team's guidance helped me understand it and complete the cool challenge of building my own Weather App.

This course was not only fun but so incredibly informative! I love the way Matt teaches the material. I liked this section of the workshop, but a bit different from the other workshops where you had to build your own project. This workshop gave you an option so I opted to essentially follow Matthew to replicate his. This was not my favorite workshop and could have skipped it if I knew the layout.
Completing the SheCodes React workshop was an incredibly enriching experience. The course structure, coupled with hands-on projects, made learning React both accessible and engaging. Instructor Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts. There is a good balance of demonstrating the concepts followed by practical, hands-on application of those concepts.
SheCodes Responsive was a lot of fun! It was the best to build a responsive website along with Matt. I highly recommend this course because practically all websites today require to be responsive to different devices, so every developer has to be ready. I'm definitely going to apply the tips I learnt here from now on!

This was a really good course and I had fun coding my weather app. JavaScript was challenging at times, but the good thing is that I was always able to go back to the video and re-watch a lesson. I was very happy to learn how to host a website, how to integrate an API, and how to work with GitHub. Matt is a great instructor and gives simple explanations with examples for subjects that are difficult to grasp at first. I also want to add that Matt explains how the industry works, which tools they use, and how the workflow works in the industry. This has given me a real appetite to learn more, cannot wait to continue my progress with more advanced courses! Happy coding 🧡

I never thought coming from an entirely non-tech background that I would be able to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make a whole landing page from scratch in the space of just 3 weeks - I've truly shocked myself and that's all thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team! The content is SO clear to understand and I got help so quickly in the Slack channels when I got stuck, I cannot wait to continue learning with the SheCodes Max course!
Definitely the toughest course out of all I've done so far. Not sure if the pace was too quick for myself - I felt as though I understood the structure of React but I couldn't have gotten through it without Matt explaining every step of the way. I hope I'm able to bring some learnings from this course on to the next and gain greater confidence and knowledge in using Javascript and React.
Shecodes has been the best online learning platform, the growth and the knowledge attained is beyond me. Although the road was bumpy we solider on to testify that we have MADE IT , thank you to Matthew and the shecodes team for the patience and assistance when needed. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

SheCodes Plus has been challenging but Matt, as always, manages to explain the concepts so clearly. And if you still don't understand, they also give you code snippets and links that'll help you further understand. I love how he always slowly builds into it, and it makes sense to learn in that order. The little steps that you sometimes think are tedious will make you understand the bigger picture! I enjoyed it!

SheCodes Responsive has taught me all of the things that I wished I could have done with my projects from SheCodes Basic and especially SheCodes Plus. I recognise there are other workshops that could, no doubt, teach the same content, however, the means in which SheCodes delivers this program of learning is effective for how I learn. The delivery of a lesson, followed by a challenge with a marked result and a solution provides the learning examples for me to properly understand. One of my favourite things about SheCodes is that even Matt struggles to get code to work for him sometimes, and he is a professional developer. This gives me confidence in my own ability (as it shows anyone can make a mistake, regardless of how advanced they are) and I appreciate that Matt could have gone on to re-record these lessons but instead shows us how he fathoms out these issues. Overall, SheCodes Responsive has certainly been a great learning experience and I look forward to undertaking React as well as the further 'add-on' projects 🥳

I learnt a lot from this course, initially I was afraid that I would not understand or be able to code an create anything through code. However Matt simplified everything breaking down each section of code and understanding how it works and how to read code. I have watched other tutorials for code but they did not make sense or help one grasp the concept of code. Matt is an excellent teacher and is great at sharing knowledge. I am happy that I can understand and code now. It has been a great experience.

Plus Add-On is a great addition to the Plus workshop. On this workshop I've worked on a world clock with a setp by step guidance from Matt. The Javascript time zone manipulation is a bit more challenging but it's also very satisfying to learn and to see it working. I'm very motivated to keep learning how to code with SheCodes!

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop.I found the video lessons engaging, very clear and Matt is an engaging deliverer. The challenges attached to the lessons ensure you have understood and digested the lesson and some were very challenging and stretched the learner beyond what was given in the lesson. Week one on HTML & CSS was very intense with 21 lessons, but week 2 (on Javascript) was less time consuming and that left a whole week to work on my project in week 3. This gave me time to review past material and try new things out on my page. I really enjoyed coding and building an interactive landing page. Overall, I can't highly recommend the course enough! It was also great value for money!
