I've enjoyed every single second of this workshop!!! 😊 The lessons are very well structured and paced. Matt has a natural talent for teaching, he just makes everything very easy to understand with real-life examples. So far HTML seems to be easy to work with, CSS is super fun (playing around with colors and shapes) and JavaScript requires a bit more effort but it's also very fulfilling to overcome the challenges! 😎 I'm very glad that I've finally enrolled in SheCodes and I'm looking forward to learn even more in the workshops to come! 🤓 Next stop: SheCodes Add-On! I really enjoyed every part of the SheCodes basics learning from how our Instructor Matt taught everything to doing the homework and the project on my own. The fact that I can be writing my code and being able to see the outcome as it is made me want to learn more coding and that's why I'm really grateful to be in this workshop. Coding is fun! Before starting at SheCodes, I thought that coding was difficult and that I would have a hard time learning it though I found it interesting. But, thanks to Matt and the SheCodes slack community, it was a wonderful experience. In just 3 weeks, I've become 3 languages smarter. The best part of the workshop for me was working on my final project where I was able to freestyle and be creative.
I've always felt that coding is meant for the smart ones or at least those with strong computer background and that kept me far away from it. But upon joining SheCodes Foundation, Matt being the great teacher he is made me realize even I can code. I'm still on the basics but I can already see how much value this skill will aid in my career.

I enjoyed every minute of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I love Matt's teaching style. I learned while having fun and even laughing sometimes. I loved that there are challenges after most of the teaching videos. This is the best teaching style for me. You implement what you learn. I also like that it is self-paced although there is a deadline for submitting the weekly homeworks and the final project. This is good for me too because I need to be able to learn on my own time but I also need that little push to stay on track. Can't wait to start with the SheCodes Plus workshop!

this is a course that make participants familiar with front-end coding.The focus of it is on HTML and CSS but I've learned some basic codes and concepts of JavaScripts. I wish the course was more elaborated with some details. Also it would be useful that fundamental concepts(like variable scope) were explained. Excellent point of the course is weekly home works which engage us to what we learned. Thanks a lot Shecodes and specially Matt.

It was an amazing experience having my first workshop with SheCodes! I loved every step in the process and enjoyed seeing the outcome improve every time I learned and applied a new skill. The gradual buildup of knowledge, the bits of challenges in most lessons, and the tips provided in the solution videos as well as in the snippets all helped me maintain what I learned from the lessons, practice on it, and even expand it. I am truely happy that I came across SheCodes a couple of weeks ago. I have always been somewhat curious about coding, but never had the guts to participate in any sort of education around it, since I feared the feeling of embarassment if I wouldn't get the hang of it right away. SheCodes for me has the perfect balance of providing deadlines yet also enables participant to work on the lessons/challenges/homework whenever best suitable for them (/us). I had to postpone one of my homework deadlines and was really happy how easy that was, too. Zero stress added to the already stressful daily life at work and other things going on - life pretty much. Now that I have completed my first course I am determined to book another one soon. I really enjoyed the little highs whenever my code worked and am now also confident enough, that I am capable of learning more about it. All thanks to Matt and his team. This course has been really really exciting and Matt is an excellent teacher! SheCodes Plus was more of a challenge for me but I figured it out and was able to create a weather app. The first time I started SheCodes Plus, it was very confusing and after redoing everything the second time it was fairly easy. I was able to learn API, GitHub, Bootstrap, and a little bit of hosting. Matt is a great teacher in explaining why we type a certain code and how it works! The instructors were always available to help with any questions I had. I'm excited to start the SheCodes Responsive!!
I was quite nervous to start this program since I have absolutely NO experience or knowledge in coding or software development. This program so was well organized and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
