It is honestly amazing how much I have learnt over these past 8 weeks and would certainly recommend SheCodes workshops to my peers. You may think it is rocket science but when tutored by Matt, he makes learning code seem effortless with his step by step teaching style.

SheCodes plus was a really fun experience for me and I learned a lot. I am very much excited to now know about all the interesting stuff such as API and GitHub which once seemed too complicated and scary to me! In fact I was so excited that I almost finished my weather app with all features by the sixth week and just followed the videos to make sure I know everything Matt wanted to teach us :)
This workshop is so well organised and put together, so easy to follow and Matt is a great instructor! I learned so much in such a short time and had so much fun. This section of the course was the most challenging one yet but React is a fun syntax to learn nevertheless and Matt is simply amazing - I hope he continues to teach more coding workshops because this is his calling.
I like how Matt makes it look so easy to learn to code. As someone who has no experience in this at all, it can get overwhelming fast. This is why I appreciate Matt's magic in teaching. The workshop materials are also engaging - I especially love that we get to apply what we learn and do exercises (AKA challenges, homeworks, and in the end - a project). This was one of my favorite projects to build, I am extremely grateful to be a part of the SheCodes community, this course reiterated so many react principles, and having to use some of these principles over and over again surely made me understand react a bit better. The SheCodes basics workshop was excellent! I had been debating a career change and was hesitant about diving in and spending a lot of time and money on something I wouldn't enjoy. The combination of short videos and homework assignments made coding easy to digest. Matt was comprehensive and to the point and with the help of the SheCodes slack team, I was able to complete all my assignments. I am finishing this course with the confidence to know I CAN code, and I will be enrolling in the SheCodes Max program next.

Having to juggle between school work and SheCodes was not easy especially during exams. Matt is the best teacher because he explains everything vividly and I also love the fact that lessons are pre-recorded. Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me. What a challenging but fun 8 weeks of coding! I definitely had days that were easier than others but with Matt's clear instructions and videos, I made it to the finish line and excited to jump into the next workshop! For my final project, I did a website for my sister that is the entrepreneur of Barro. She lives in Mendoza Argentina, that is why, you will see information in Spanish. Matt is an awesome instructor, he teaches each concept very clearly. The lessons are well structured. The mini challenges and the weekly projects really help in applying and better understanding the knowledge learnt from the lessons. There's also a technical team that is always ready to help with any technical questions one may have.
I had a lot of fun learning the basics with Matt, the classes were easy to follow and gave space for your own creativity. I'm surprised at how quickly I picked up the basics and I can't wait to learn more!
At the end of this workshop, I managed to build my personal website and hosted it. This is a big milestone for me. SheCodes is fantastic! .I learned so much and feel much more confident in my abilities now. Matt was engaging and made the material easy to understand. Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.

SheCodes Plus helped me gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of JS and hosting websites, which I will use in my daily work. Although there were some challenging parts, I had a lot of fun solving the challenges and creating my project.
