SheCodes helped me learn the basics of coding, even though I had no prior background knowledge in the field. The workshop was well organized and conducted by Matt, who made the learning process fun and engaging. Matt used real-life examples to explain some coding concepts, which made it easy for me to understand and apply them. One of the things that I appreciated the most about the workshop was the hands-on approach. We were given coding challenges and projects to work on, which allowed me to put the concepts I had learned into practice. I highly recommend this coding workshop to anyone who is interested in learning how to code. It is an excellent resource for beginners and provides a solid foundation for further learning in the field.
React.js looked so far fetched for me but Matt has helped to simplify it as much as he could. The secret is patience like he said and I can only get better and better.

Finished another step into my coding journey! SheCodes Responsive has helped me deepen my knowledge into coding and sharpen my skills thru challenges given each lesson and by building a real-life project-my very own portfolio showcasing my project to potential employers. Like SheCodes Basics and Plus, I received all the necessary tools, updated materials and software, together with their live technical support in case I’m feeling stuck and needed help with the assignments. Importantly, I can take the lessons at my own pace, it can be easily accessed any time and it’s not a problem if I needed more time to finish the course; I can ask for extension to so that I can get back to it any time I’m ready. I find it quite rewarding that I was able to solve each problem by myself, getting back to Matt’s bite-size lessons which are all very clear. He delivers topics such as advanced Bootstrap (Navigation, Utility Classes, etc.), Flexbox, Multiple Page Hosting, Media Queries, and more in such a way that it is transparent, fun to learn and easy to understand. He’s an amazing instructor with an equally amazing team. Thank you SheCodes!
SheCodes PLUS is definitely a step-up from Basics. I really enjoyed creating the weather app and learning the complexity of functions, api integrations, and HTML structure. I was able to follow-along to Matt's teaching, and I used Slack to ask any questions I may of had. The Athena AI was useful too, that was a nice feature.
I am in a middle of a career change and wanted to try coding to see if this was something I can do and most importantly want to do for a new path in my life. I was nervous at first about these courses being online, but SheCodes made it very easy to do and having the videos to go back and listen to Matt's instructions worked better then in-person classes. I loved it and found out I am not bad at coding! I am looking forward to learning more in the other advanced courses in SheCodes. Don't be scared to learn something new at any age. It has been a great experience so far. I had no previous knowledge about coding but the instructor, Matt made it really interesting to follow and understand. though i had issues with the sound from Week One, it didn't deter my learning. The SheCode slack community is one of the best things put together by SheCodes as it really was helpful during times I got stuck. Everyone was so helpful, I mean everyone. What I have learned so far has sparked a desire to learn more and go further into coding and I am sure to spread the good news about SheCodes to my friends. The most exciting part of my day in the past 3 weeks was spending time in the evenings after work coding via SheCodes👩💻 Basics. I enjoyed learning the basics of how to build web pages using HTML, CSS and Javascript and challenging myself during the Final Project. The lessons are super easy to follow and practical. SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge but in the best way possible! The skill set I gained from this goes beyond anything I imagined. Being able to build an entire app by myself after following all the lessons is a massive confidence boost, not forgetting to mention the fun I've had! This workshop takes you from a coding beginner to a coding pro in so little time! I loved Matt's way of explaining and always making me feel like I could do anything if I take it step by step! I enjoyed the course a lot. This one was a bit more challenging than others, but I did it well despite having a job. Matt is a great instructor and has clear pronunciation. The exercises keep everything interactive unless you're learning through videos. Taking these 4 level courses is just what you need if you don't have time all day. Plus the team is fully supportive and accessing the community in Slack is a huge bonus.

Currently I am working full time and attending SheCodes Worshops after work. After completing the Plus workshop all I wanted was to keep learning and diving into the Plus-Add On! I've tried to learn JavaScript so many times and ended up quiting, however, with these workshops and Matt's explanations and the support from the slack channel, I felt like this is the right method for me to learn and to keep improving. I am motivated to continue learning and making more projects, and I can not wait to start the enxt workshop!
Really enjoyed the Basics course. Matt's videos are easy to understand and they're not too long. So, it's easy to suqeeze in some lessons after my normal work :) Working on the final project was great, seeing how finally everything came together and I created a whole page from scratch. It's pretty fun getting started with the SheCodes materials.
This training is the best coding training I have attended so far. Despite that i had to reschedule severally due to several issues, I was scared at some point that I would be shown the exit door but I really appreciate you for allowing me to finish at my own time and Matt Delac is such a wonderful teacher, its been a great time learning with you, You make coding so easy to learn. Another fun but challenging process to complete this project. Following Matt’s instruction step by step, which lead me to complete this project in two days instead of a week. More challenges to come.
It was a really fun time with SheCoding, could not notice like the Basic level is over. I become an investigator - curious digging into a site that I visit to find out how this work; and a searcher - googling for some other ways to create something on your own. The course is built sooooo well, so easy to understand, in no matter of time you start to notice the things that before were kind of mystery. The final project was not so hard to create like hard to choose which one to send (I made 3, but stop myself on this one)
I had been wanting to try coding for a really long time, but was intimidated and did not know where to start. SheCodes opened the world of coding up to me and I have no doubt that I will be signing up for the longer courses. Matt makes the content easy to understand and the weekly homework assignments are challenging enough to keep you on your toes but not feel overwhelmed. I would highly recommend signing up!
