Previously I had tried to learn html, css and javascript and for the life of me I could not come right. Then I came across SheCodes and with only just 3-4 weeks of being a part of the family I can truly say that this is the best platform to learn from. I loved this workshop! I already had some knowledge about HTML and CSS, but JS was something totally new to me. The way Matt explains everything is extremely effective, he uses simple examples to make you understand how every element works. I highly recommend this workshop, at the moment I work full time but, despite this, I managed to hit all the dead lines. This means that the course is well structured and let you study in your free time for a few hours per day.

I recently attended a coding workshop and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. While the challenges were difficult at times, they were also a lot of fun. The tutorials were very in-depth and Matt's teaching style was incredibly effective. He managed to break down complex concepts into understandable bits and pieces, which made it easier for me to follow along. One of the best things about the workshop was the Slack chat. It was an incredibly helpful resource, and I found that I was able to get answers to my questions very quickly. Additionally, I was able to get extensions on my project, which was a huge help. This allowed me to work at my own pace and to ensure that I was producing quality work. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in coding. The challenges and tutorials will definitely push you out of your comfort zone, but the knowledge and skills you will gain are well worth it. Thanks to the flexibility and helpful resources, I was able to complete the workshop in my own time and felt truly empowered by the end. Thanks to the team for such a wonderful experience!

They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. But with Shecodes I managed to learn how to do it in a matter of weeks and also build my own. This has truly taught me that anything is possible when it comes to coding.It just needs consistency, patience and an amazing team from Shecodes !

After completing the SheCodes Basics it took some time for me to complete the SheCodes Plus course. At first I was skeptical with how much I'd learn because I'm just "following tutorials and doing exactly as I was told" but Matt is an excellent teacher! He explained everything in such a way that it's easy to follow. I noticed that I understood what I was doing after friends asked me for an explanation on my codes which surprised me a lot. Can't wait to see what the React course has in store for me :)
I am a Civil Engineer and I did not know a single thing about coding when I joined the SheCodes Basic course. But I found it super exciting when I was able to create something out of nothing and creating stuff is something I personally love to do. As someone with little to no experience in coding prior to attending this program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum. However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive and the community was supportive, and the curriculum was structured in such a way that even complete beginners like me were able to grasp the concepts. What I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. Not only did this help solidify the concepts we were learning, but it also made the learning process more enjoyable and engaging. Overall, I cannot recommend SheCodes enough to anyone interested in pursuing a career in coding. The experience was challenging, rewarding, and ultimately life-changing. Thank you for everything!

Everyday is a testimony, every solved code for me calls for celebration. I remember attending the first free session with Matt and I wanted to cry. I understood nothing. I was filled with fear. However, with a strong and dedicated mindset, I proceeded to apply. Today I am happy with the amount of knowledge I have gotten from the BASIC course. That mountain I saw? It was not really a mountain. It was a heap of sand that looked too high from afar. I cannot wait to move forward and grow more within this tech journey. As I said in this project, I say again: It will end in #WomenInTech.
SheCodes was really fun and was very educational for me. Matt was a wonderful teacher who was very encouraging and made everything easy to understand. Thanks to Matt and his team for this great opportunity. I had a lot of fun, it is great to have a challenge with most of the lectures to apply what you have learned and I loved to have actual results in the end that I can show to others. I started this course to get some basic knowledge in coding as I am trying to change careers into UX Design and be better equipped to talk to developers, but I might just change course completely and switch to coding ... I am not sure yet, the jury is still out there. But who knows?

I've always been afraid of coding. Thanks to Tiktok I discovered SheCodes and took the leap of faith. Matt Delac, the instructor, is excellent at teaching the concepts of coding. He is especially patient and helpful. I wholeheartedly suggest this workshop to anyone interested in learning basic coding from start to finish. This experience not only taught me the proper techniques and foundation of HTML coding as promised, but it also taught me how to learn independently, how to stick with a problem and find ways to solve it, and, perhaps most importantly, how to continue to develop my software development skills outside of the electronic classroom.

I absolutely loved this course! Matt Delac's teaching style was engaging and refreshing. He uses easy-to-understand and relatable examples to explain some complicated concepts, especially in Javascript. I like how the course was structured, too. With practical exercises that I can complete independently. But also, having a deadline for each homework was helpful in preventing me from procrastinating.
Matt's explanations are second to none. The course is very well organised and it's great that you can fit it around your schedule. Help is always available on Slack. Would definitely recommend this course,
