I used to believe that coding required special expertise, with the right resources anyone can become a coder. I find coding to be a therapeutic escape from stress and anxiety. The SheCodes Responsive course was an amazing experience! I have learned a lot about HTML, CSS, Flexbox and Bootstrap. I feel more confident coding and can't wait to create more beautiful and functional websites. Matt's lessons are the best and easy to understand. I also appreciate the practice challenges.
I started this coding bootcamp with no prior knowledge of coding whatsoever, today, I can confidently say that I am well on my way to becoming a web developer. This is mainly because Matt is able to explain the concepts so easily and clear enough for you to grasp almost in one sitting, and, he also provides a lot of resources for you to use should you not understand making the workshop challenges fun to work on.
SheCodes workshop finished on a high note with a good opportunity to work again on the personal portfolio to polish it even more. I really enjoyed this week's workshop, but I've missed something here, I was hoping to see more about Java Script, more things like animation, functions, or even more alternatives like, how pages make the "loading animation" thing when you first visit their page. But besides all that it was fun and I understood everything that Matt had taught me.
I keep learning so much in a short amount of time thanks to these SheCodes classes. Matt makes complex topics and challenges manageable by teaching you step-by-step how to approach a coding problem for a solution. I can't believe I built my final Plus Add-On project within a few hours over two days. I also found myself pausing the lesson and adding the code myself, because I could predict where he was going with the solutions.
Learning coding through SheCodes was definitely a transformative experience for me. SheCodes triggered my passion for Web development and using coding to scale ideas. I really enjoyed to build the Weather app using React and understand how powerful it is. Matt's knowledge and hands on approach made complex concepts easy to understand. The program fosters a sense of community because of the supportive learning environment.

I'm enjoying learning this new skill set from Matt and the SheCodes team, there are definitely times where it is frustrating and complicated but Matt's videos are pretty detailed and the team is available to help on Slack. I never would have thought I would have been able to build a "weather app."
I had a blast learning how to create a responsive website! It was so fun and engaging to follow the lessons and see my website come to life. Out of all the online course to learn coding, this has helped me the most. The way Matt explains things without necessarily using technical jargon straight away has helped me understanding things more than I thought I would. In actual fact, I didn't think I would get this far or be able to code at all!
It is always requires a lot of courage to make a step towards your dreams. For me, IT was always a broad concept associated with excessive amount of terms and rules and you need to know which one to choose from millions of them to implement into functionable project. Seemed pretty difficult until I decided not to judge the book by its cover. I am pretty excited that I made a decision to start coding with SheCodes. Since the very start the team led by instructor Matt was super supportive. Matt has this ability to put it straight to the core making the process of learning fun and efficient.

Embarking on SheCodes Basics program was fun and educating but, I experienced difficulty because I didn't have a laptop of my own. I had to write the code on my phone, copy it and send it to my flash so I can use a friend's laptop. All the same I graduated... Before taking the SheCodes Responsive course, I had a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, but my websites looked clunky on different devices. This course completely changed that! I learned the fundamentals of responsive design in a clear and engaging way, with plenty of hands-on practice through small challenges and a final project. The instructor, Matt Delac, explained complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way, using real-world examples and humor to keep things engaging. The course wasn't just theory. We practiced our skills with weekly challenges and built a multi-page responsive website as our final project. This helped me solidify my understanding and gain real-world experience. Matthew explains React very simply and fluently so that anyone who is not familiar with any framework can easily understand it. But this course is far from the complete topics of React and maybe only 20% of React was discussed. I suggest that after completing this course, look for learning more about React
Delac Foundation was among my answered prayers as of last year 2023 and an incredible learning experience! it was challenging and fun all together that I cant even think of giving up but rather stick to being productive and learning new skills, which i never thought in 3 weeks time I'd acquire as much as I do now when it comes to coding. I must admit, I was very intimidated coming into this field knowing nothing. Matt has really helped break everything down and build the confidence you need. SheCodes is truly for everybody.
I have been studying coding for a while now with another platform for the paste 9months and it became tiring and vhim killing to learn. The tutorial was bad until a friend recommended shecodes. Within 2 weeks on just basics i've understood and can do what i couldn't do before studying for 9months. Matt is a blessing. I am determined to finish through with good understanding.

WOW SheCodes Plus has been one hell of a journey π I'm so proud of my weather app! π There were times I thought I might throw my laptop out the window but then I would find the bug causing the problem and honestly, this is the most satisfying feeling. It's funny how convinced you can get that the whole thing is just wrong and it'll literally be ONE semi-colon or something equally tiny that's missing that breaks the whole thing. Anyway, thanks again Matt, your ability to deliver complex information in bitesize chunks is great and being able to see our project get upgraded more and more as we apply what we're learning is a great way to see our skillset grow. I'm still challenged by a lot of the JS stuff but the repetition involved has gotten me to a point I didn't think I would ever get to when I first started SheCodes Plus.
