I always thought that coding would be too hard for me after having one coding course at the university a few years ago. However, Matt explains everything so well and in a simple way that i can't believe how fast you can learn and how interesting it looks now. I just feel like wanting to learn more and more.
Another exciting and challenging workshop! I really liked the Responsive workshop which made me able to build a portfolio that looks good on any device. Like the previous workshops every step is explained by Matt and you can check your progress through the challenges before writing the code for the final project. I can't wait for React now!

I've learned so much in the past two weeks!! Java dealt with me, but Matt is a great teacher. He did a great job at breaking it down and making it as easy to understand as possible. I enjoyed the little activities after each lesson to practice what I've learned. And the final project for the Basics workshop was fun to do! Would highly recommend it, 100/10!!

Where do I even begin? At this point I already calling myself a full stack developer because this is my end goal and with the rate we are learning with our President Matt it is going to be possible in a space of six months only. This class was definitely a doable and challenging at the same time. Although it lets you be your own boss this class required lots of time management and independent learning. After months of trying to learn web development on my own, I realised there was way too much information out there for me to know what was important or not for a newbie like me. After months of trying to figure things out the best I could I finally joined SheCodes and after having done the first workshop I already know it was the best decision ever. React seemed like a massive change from the previous workshops at first, but Matt explains it so well and it's easy to follow along.
The entire learning process was amazing! From the informative lessons taught by Matt, to the helpful and supportive SheCodes community available on slack that I could access at any time with any questions I had or to even share and communicate with my fellow coding peers! The challenges truly made a difference when it came to helping me understand further what I learnt from the lessons as well practicing for the technical skills I needed to tackle the final project.
I am so happy I enrolled in the 'SheCodes Responsive' class. It was a blast creating my very own responsive-multipage-website, from scratch! Throughout the process I gained a deeper understanding of advanced bootstrap, using navigation, utility classes, flexbox and collaboration tools with designers.
