Before joining SheCodes i was a little scared of Javascript as i have heard people say it was very tough. My instructor Matt turned that fear into confidence as he taught it in a way that it was very easy for me to understand. I had an amazing time during this SheCodes Basics and i can already code with confidence. I can't wait to see what the other packages have in store for me!

The lessons taught by Matt, were super clear and manageable. Having the slack team available for when we got stuck was so nice, and helped keep up morale and motivation toward learning more and having fun doing it. Outside of that the other SheCodes resources, such as the gradient and palette features, and shecodes radio rocked ! Most importantly, they were really understanding with timing; I needed extensions due to health concerns and power outages, and they made it really easy and stress-free to request more time. 10/10 would recommend.

After months of using other learning platforms, I found SheCodes to be the best platform available! I wanted to start this journey a long time ago and as starting is the most difficult part of every adventure , fear was eating my courage for breakfast every time I opened VS code. This time everything was different. I got a huge dose of knowledge, inspiration and a bunch of ideas how coding lets you paint your dreams in a digital reality... even if you're an opera singer who lives in an abstract world of her own fairytale... Responsive workshop is really interesting, useful and challenging as well! Matt shows bunch of ways to realize this or that idea, and it is so valuable! So far making site responsive is my favorite part of tasks although before workshop I thought it is boring and exhausting. I am so happy that I was wrong!
I always wanted to learn coding, but never felt like I could because it looked so intimidating. I was on Instagram one day and saw an Ad for the SheCodes free Coding Class. Matt introduced coding in a way that made it look fun and cool, so I enrolled in the SheCodes Basics workshop and I cannot even believe how much I learned in just 3 weeks! I am able to help out more with basic coding at work and my supervisor is thrilled and I can't wait to grow in this skill!

SheCodes is the best platform to start your coding journey, and Matt is the best teacher. SheCodes made coding simple and fun and anybody can do this.
As with the first workshop, it was exciting and super challenging. The moment that perplexed me, was a program of Weeks 7-8, where Matt started to build the app from scratch, although at that point we had to build this on our own. Nevertheless, I understood that recollecting some material wasn't redundant at all. Moreover, it helped me to solve the problem of temperature conversion in the forecast day cards.
Learning Web Development with SheCodes has been so good! I've found writing HTML, CSS, and JS code to be captivating and fun. Matthew's teaching is clear and simple and the practical challenges helped me to put the teaching into action!
I still can't believe I've done my final project on the SheCodes Basic. My profession is not connected to IT at all. I thought I wouldn't ever be able even to understand coding. But Matthieu explaines everything so simply and easily so it motivates you to begin. It's so inetesting and exciting and challenging at the same time. With SheCodes you'll never get stuck, because all team is so helpfull. And definitely you'll never get bored. I'm so lucky to start my new life chapter with SheCodes.

I’ve got to say that I’m really impressed by SheCodes Plus content. Matt it’s a very good teacher and the staff on Slack it’s always available for you if needed. I’m a criminal law Ph.D. candidate using my “free” time (and brain) to do the courses. It’s not easy to manage everything together, but it’s doable. You’ll need to dedicate yourself to it, maybe more than 5h a week, and practice as much as you can, trying new things inside your challenges and homework. The course will give you a full understanding of how to work with JS and put your code online, the rest it’s up to you. Practicing and exploring is crucial, especially if you want to pursue a development career. SheCodes it’s a very good first step into it!
This was an amazing workshop and such a thrill to be a part of! It is easy to follow along and Matt did an amazing job at explaining everything, whether you have coded before or not you step away with a ton of useful knowledge and resources. I found this to be the most helpful SheCodes workshop in the curriculum! React is quickly being adopted across industries - there is a definite need for these skills. I felt Matt went through the course well and having two projects made it much easier to see how React can be applied. The technical assistants responded quickly to questions in Slack and were very knowledgeable - helping me through any issues along the way. I also learned real world skills to be able to troubleshoot issues with my code.

The workshop was great, but I wish we got to learn more. The third week wasn't anything new - just a quick summary of what we learned in weeks one and two. I feel like that time could have been used better. Otherwise, the workshop was fun and Matt is a good teacher.

I've always wanted to learn more about coding but, wrongly, I thought it was closely linked to math and that was enough to scare me off. I've attended to a workshop months ago held by my my employer, where there was this girl talking about how exciting the life of a Front End developer is and that she learned it from scratch, highlighting that no math's involved in the process. I then came across SheCodes and a huge THANK YOU is due. Matt is a great instructor, thanks for your effort and your revolutionary project and thank you for letting me aware that is never too late! Coding is fun, is a creative process and even when you get stuck, is worth the struggle :)

It was definitely a brain tester but overall it was an amazing experience. This is a whole lot more visual than any other college class or youtube course that I have seen. Really love that I can watch Matt type and I can type along too. Slack allows for questions outside of googling. Its easier to digest and fun to look at, watch, listen, etc... EXTREMELY GRATEFUL.
I am so grateful to SheCodes team for these courses. I started my coding journey 7 months ago thinking that I would never be able to understand the complexities of code and now I learned so much and gained so much in autonomy over the last months that I feel that I can go further on my own. SheCodes taught me something essential that I use in everything I do, being able to troubleshoot yourself. I tried to apply that along the whole cours but when I had a more serious issue, the SheCodes team was there to help. Wish I could continue on this journey even further with them but I managed to get to the end and I'm so proud and thankful to all of them.
