The SheCodes workshops teach at a manageable pace and the content is clear to understand. As I am a visual learner I found the workshop videos easy to follow and engaging. SheCodes Plus workshop is amazing. JavaScript can be intimidating however, Matt does a good job of explaining the logic of writing code. The videos are easy to follow. I would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the course and learned a lot from Matt, however, the video content and explanations could do with updating. I also don't think 5 hours per week is enough if you're just starting out as it takes a while to actually learn / remember things.
I really enjoyed the delivery method of this course. Matt does a good job of breaking down the concepts into smaller steps so that you really understand the effect of what you're doing.
SheCodes Plus was definitely more tough to grasp than SheCodes Basics. Matt and his team were conveniently there to help me during the more challenging moments that I had with JavaScript. This course gives you plenty of room to grow by giving you a little taste of how you can use JavaScript functions, APIs, GitHub, Bootstrap, and Hosting so you can apply what you learned here for your future projects in the industry. I am looking forward to doing SheCodes Responsive next.
I have really enjoyed the videos and how Matt explains things, it makes it easy to pick up and understand. I also really love that there are projects to do from scratch at the end of each week, and a final project at the end to put everything I have learned into action.
As a Web Developer, I was seeking to brush up on some skills, especially JavaScript. I wanted to see how the course was presented and taught before moving on to the other courses. So I started with the SheCodes Basic workshop. Matt is an amazing instructor. The course is presented in bite-sized chunks so you don't get overwhelmed. It leaves out all the bloat found in other online and classroom courses. It is a great course for anyone wanting to see if coding is for them. The Slack channel offers assistance when you need it. Overall, I am very pleased and will be recommending SheCodes to others.

The course is great! Frankly speaking, from the beginning it was hard for me to believe that I solve each challenge. I thought smth like "Okay, I am leave it this week..." But then I listen to Matt's explanations once, twice... and I was able to solve all the problems!!! And if I really stuck, I asked support team for some help via Slack, and they always were very helpful and give me good tips to overcome all difficulties and correct any mistakes. Matt and SheCodes team are really cool! I am greatful for the new knowledge and encouragement during the course!

I like that I can work at my own pace, but there are homework/project deadlines for accountability, but can be extended if needed. Matt does a great job explaining his videos as he goes along. The support has been great with the sheCodes when you get stuck. I also like that after you submit your homework and projects there is a solution video to help you correct any mistakes or improve your work.

Shecodes was a gamechanger for learning to code. I have tried a handful of coding resources, but I couldn't stay motivated or interested in the material. When I signed up for Shecodes basics, I was hooked. Matt explained the material very well, but also taught you to use other resources to help you along the way! I'm farther in my journey of web development now thanks to Shecodes. I look forward to my next workshop with them!

SheCodes is a good introductory workshop for beginners. Matt is a great instructor who explains every step in detail making the work easy to follow along. The workshop also provides plenty of resources and a friendly community ready to help you.
This is what I've been looking for! 😍 I've tried learning javascript and c# on several different mobile apps for the past few months, each one as confusing and confidence knocking as the last. SheCodes has really helped break everything down into logical, chewable mouthfuls and has made the entire process incredibly fun! Thanks to this workshop, I started to develop a deeper understanding of coding, as well as learned about Bootstrap, GitHub, APIs, and a lot of advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Whew! This is the most rewarding, exciting, and difficult workshop yet! I loved the React projects (one weather and one dictionary), building another weather project but in a different way really shows you that there are a lot more ways you can code to build a project. The dictionary project was definitely the hardest but I'm a perfectionist at heart and this was a great experience to see it all come together. These weeks of lessons, challenges, and projects has me going out on my own and making more than just the given projects and I'm dreaming of code and other ways to make it work! Thank you so much Matt Delac for this platform/workshops and thank you the to team for helping me out so much! You all rock!!
SheCodes Responsive gave me the confidence I needed to really see that I CAN DO this. I loved the final project. Being able to showcase our work on a website we built is an amazing feeling. It wouldn't have been as awesome unless there was some challenges along the way! Thanks to the SheCodes Team and Matt for guiding me on my journey to becoming a front-end developer.

I really enjoy this Basic Workshop👩💻. All the material that are explained by Matt are easy to digest and to be followed. Loved the ability to work at my own pace. Matt was very good about teaching a "think outside the box" mentality. At times it was frustrating and challenging, but it ended up strengthening a soft skill - critical thinking. I want to continue to grow the knowledge I've gained so far!

AMAZING!!! Matt is a really talented teacher. I started my coding journey with SheCodes basic, fell in love with coding, and decided to make a career shift. I then enrolled in a university bootcamp (BIG mistake) and I dropped out because the tutors were not as talented in explaining the material as Matt and the curriculum was rushed and unorganized, I then decided to sign up for SheCodes Pro and I could immediately notice the difference! I am telling you if you enjoyed your SheCodes basic course, go for it and invest in the SheCodesPro, it is worth every penny! Organized material, an immersive curriculum, fun and engaging challenges, and a super supportive team!
Was it easy, nope it wasn't but it was simplified for anyone to understand and the good news is that when stuck, the team comes to your rescue. We have a wonderful instructor in Matt and a wonderful team in SheCodes without which I am not sure I would have been able to do this as other coding lessons made coding too complicated but here I am today enjoying coding with SheCodes. I am glad on the new path I have chosen, it is something I enjoyed doing and I will do it over and over again I want to use this opportunity to encourage every female out there who wants to code but is scared, don't be scared anymore, SheCodes got you covered, if I can, then you can.
