Despite facing a few challenges such as, organizing my time to complete assignments, understanding bootstrap in depth this workshop that took me longer that expected to complete, my overall experience with it was very rewarding. Matt and his team did a great job to explain each step of the process with ongoing support via Slack, where the team reviewed and provide feedback as I needed. SheCodes offers ample opportunities for self-improvement through monthly challenges that have definitely sharpen my skills. Thank you to the SheCodes team!

WOW SheCodes Plus has been one hell of a journey 😅 I'm so proud of my weather app! 🌈 There were times I thought I might throw my laptop out the window but then I would find the bug causing the problem and honestly, this is the most satisfying feeling. It's funny how convinced you can get that the whole thing is just wrong and it'll literally be ONE semi-colon or something equally tiny that's missing that breaks the whole thing. Anyway, thanks again Matt, your ability to deliver complex information in bitesize chunks is great and being able to see our project get upgraded more and more as we apply what we're learning is a great way to see our skillset grow. I'm still challenged by a lot of the JS stuff but the repetition involved has gotten me to a point I didn't think I would ever get to when I first started SheCodes Plus.

Great workshop! Learning React was both challenging and inspiring. There were many moments that could have easily overwhelmed me (and sometimes did!), but as Matt says, "Take a breath and slow it down." Really enjoyed this workshop, can feel lots of the things I have learnt coming together. I find that I'm recognising errors in my code quicker, working out where mistakes are by methodically going back through the code or recognising that something changed or ammended resulted in the code not working and something that has been replying that Matt said about it being trial and error felt somewhat comforting when I was stuck on a problem and had tried a number of ways to fix it before finding the solution... As always everyone is very supportive in the Slack community, and for the sometimes intense mental challlenge this took out of me, I have a great project at the end that was fin to create.
SheCodes Plus is a game-changer if you want to go beyond the basics and start to see what coding is really about. The exercises get gradually more complex and interesting, and with Matt's clear explanations and the support of the tech team, you'll find yourself building a whole weather app! I've really enjoyed the longer format workshop and all the research and exploration that it has inspired me to do on my own. Looking forward to starting the next workshop :)

The 8-week SheCodes workshop has been nothing but transformative. Hello,i'm Phillipa and my journey so far has been quite interesting actually.First of all,my motivation behind my interest in coding stems from a profound fascination with the power to create and innovate.As i delved into the world of tech,i realized that coding isn't just about creating lines of code but of building functional pages;pages that can be used by various kind of people as they carry on with their daily duties online.So far i have come across different challenges but i am grateful for the brief but clear videos that have been created by Matt. At least now i have a better understanding of the different concepts that i came across in this level. Yes i made mistakes and almost gave up but i realised that nothing comes easily,especially if it's something that you've always dreamt of learning and growing with. Observing Matt Delac's coding techniques was enlightening, and attempting to replicate them proved to be an educational adventure. Crafting content about Brussels while mastering elements like Hero, Footer, Cards, Grids, Embeds, CSS Filters, and HTML Table added a dynamic and creative layer to the learning experience. This endeavor not only enhanced my coding proficiency but also fueled my enthusiasm for tackling diverse and exciting web development aspects.
I was wondering if coding would be something that I would like. This is the reason why I joined the 3 weeks basics course and I must say that I really enjoyed it and now I am hooked! I find it to be very educational and challenging at the same time. The course is well structured and Matt explained it in a very understandable way. Which made it easy for me to follow.
I started this workshop as an absolute novice, now I am able to write code without even referring to anything. The experience has been absolutely amazing. Matt is such a wonderful instructor. This was a great introduction to coding.
