This was such an easy to follow and informative course. The teacher explained everything clearly and answers were not difficult to find. I felt like I was really achieving something!
SheCodes was challenging at times, but there was heaps of support! I have learnt a huge amount in such a short period of time. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to give coding a go!

I was initially nervous about taking on learning to code as it seemed complicated, but I wanted to give it a go. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning, Matt is a great teacher and breaks it down so well - he also compares it to real life scenarios sometimes which makes it easier to understand. You have plenty of time to learn and submit homework/projects while maintaining work/life balance. I love what I have learnt so far and plan on upgrading to a bigger course.
I really like how SheCodes makes coding accessible. The support for questions is also great. I really enjoyed the course and feel more confident in navigating website code.

SheCodes is a great way to enter the coding world. I was always fascinated and curious about how someone can do such complicated stuff but once I started this course, I understood how coding can be so much fun and easy to learn once you dive deep into it!

SheCodes Plus was challenging but a lot of fun. Matt does a fantastic job of thoroughly walking you through every step of the learning process. It feels very satisfying to have completed a fully functioning weather app. Highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to dive deeper into coding.

I've been meaning to prioritise learning to code since 2016, and starting this course has made it actually happen - within 3 weeks. The way the classes are narrated and the accompanying videos and challenges just ... work ... Learning is fun and the deadlines and additional resources really help. Absolutely loved this workshop. One of the best courses I've ever taken so far. So easy to understand and I felt fully supported along the way, I really appreciate the toolset that SheCodes has given us all. I also appreciate the encouragment to learn how to troubleshoot, this gave me a whole new sense of confidence.

The SheCodes Basics course was only 3 weeks, but I cannot believe how much I learnt in that time. I love how Matt breaks everything down into bite-size chunks of information that are easy to digest. Loved playing with the code for our final assignment.

I am very surprised how easy and fun it is to learn coding with this course. The courses give you very detailed explanations, are easy to follow, and aren't boring like other courses. And there's more. You can ask a question in Slack, where you have support. They also have a live support team in Slack. It's great. I highly recommend it to women who want to learn coding. Given the fact that I never coded in my life, SheCodes Basics gave me a great introduction to coding that wasn't too overwhelming for me to learn.
I am really really enjoying learning with SheCodes. The videos make it easy to follow along, with a written source code. On top of that, whenever I struggled, they were so quick to answer my questions. Even though this is entirely online, I never felt like I was doing this on my own!

I loved the SheCodes workshop. As a beginner to coding, I found everything was delivered perfectly with just enough information and lessons to become confident and not overwhelmed. This was just what I was looking for and i'm so grateful to Matt & the team for sharing this knowledge with us.
Such an easy way to learn how to code. I really enjoyed how simple the instructions were and how easy it was to find the information I needed or find help using the Slack support. Once I can, I will be doing the more advanced programs in the future!
Speaking from a graphic designer point of view: This was a great refresher course from the "little" coding I learned from uni. Although Javascript was new for me, it was easier to grasp with Matt's “learn”ing videos, followed by coding challenges, and weekly projects to practise as you are learning. Just when you think you won’t be able to wrap your head around it. It all comes together in the end. For graphic designers, it’s great to understand how your design concepts can be translated and built into coding. I look forward to the next workshop!

Yes, that's me with the grey hair. Not quite the oldest to enrol in SheCodes but getting close! I recommend this course to women of any age. Already I have more confidence in a web project I'm developing for a client. I've now enrolled in SheCodes Plus, because much to my surprise, I've enjoyed coding (as Matt promised!).
This course really let me put the HTML and CSS skills I've developed to the test! I found the JavaScript parts challenging but incredibly satisfying to get right. The bite-size videos and challenges along the way helped a lot to work out the fundamentals, while the project that we worked on along the way helped me solidify the learnings.
This workshop is for you if you want to start your adventure with coding. Matt is a great teacher, the workshop is well prepared, interesting, engaging, the support team helpful and friendly. 5 stars from me!

When I decided to learn Coding, I tried a few online courses but sooner I gave up. It was full of unfamiliar words and hard to understand. Even didn't know where to ask. With SheCodes, I can see the way to build my coding skill. also, it proved that Anyone can learn coding with SheCodes.

SheCodes was such a good find! I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I have no previous experience in coding, but the videos were very clear and simple to understand, could watch at my own pace. A great introductory course to coding languages. Matt was able to explain concepts in a straightforward manner that was easy to understand. I always thought coding was beyond me as it looked quite complex and overwhelming at first, but going through the course SheCodes Basics by Matt you learn step by step and break it down into smaller chunks. To me, it is liken to putting puzzle pieces together to form that bigger picture you had in mind! I highly recommend it as it challenges you to be creative and persevering. Also, it definitely opens up new doors for your career! 😁
I've tried many coding tutorials in the past, but SheCodes teaches material in a way that is fun and engaging. The material is taught in a manner where the student is not overburdened with trivial technicalities but given the necessary tools to explore and create projects that correlate well with real-world use cases. I'm very excited to make use of my skills, and I've learned more in 3 weeks than I ever did 6 months into so called web development courses.

Challenging and enjoyable!
I went into this workshop knowing very little about coding and worried if I would be able to grasp the content. Fast-forward three weeks later and I've built a basic webpage!
This workshop has taught me so much in 3 weeks and it is really enjoyable. The lessons and challenges were clear and easy to follow. From someone who came into this as a beginner, this workshop not only teaches you a lot, but also helps you practice in gaining confidence with the things you learn. Seriously a lot of fun.

I work in a completely unrelated field (healthcare), but felt like I wanted to pick up another skill/hobby when I happened to come across SheCodes. I'm so glad I did because I ended up really enjoying the Basics workshop 😊 Matt's a great teacher and made the content really easy for an absolute beginner like myself (beginner as in, I didn't even know what HTML or CSS was before I started, much less how to design a landing page).
