I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic course. I was doing happy dances in my chair when I figured something out and it worked! The video content is engaging and the online style means you can fit it into your schedule. I had some basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge before but this course helped to explain things so clearly and in bite-sized chunks. The short challenges and homework were great because you put your knowledge into practice straight away. Can't wait to continue onto SheCodes Plus!

I completed SheCodes Basic and decided to take the opportunity to learn more about front-end coding. And I'm so glad that I did!! After completing the SheCodes Basic course, I couldn't wait to start on the next one! So much of what I have learnt I have been able to apply immediately in my role at work. It's made such a difference to my capability not just with creating things in HTML, CSS and Javascript, but being able to interpret the work of others too.
Even though it's taken me a long time to complete this workshop (in between my uni studies) I thoroughly enjoyed it! This workshop has helped me gain greater knowledge and understanding in the coding that I am able to use for my computer science degree. Everything that Matt explains is easy to understand. This was a fun workshop to complete and I can not wait to start the next one.

As a UI UX designer it was great to learn the coding basics to understand how my designs could come to life. It also gives me the knowledge to create better development handover files when I work alongside developers. I didn't have any coding knowledge prior to this course. But this course is so well structured that it was easy to follow along even during a busy week at work. The lessons are bite sized but packed with information! I would happily recommend this to anyone looking to learn coding basics!

This was definitely a step up from SheCodes Basic. It was really interesting to learn about APIs and how we can feed through real time data for the weather app. Learning more about Javascript was also a rewarding challenge.

This is a really practical course that is great for beginners or those who are unfamiliar with these languages. There are short tutorials and then you get to try out new things immediately. The homework and projects are simple enough that they aren't overly laborious but complicated enough that you are actually using what you have been practicing. Pretty much hit the mark for how I learn best.
SheCodes was very easy to follow and I have been inspired to pursue a career in programming
What a great course to build on HTML, CSS and Javascript foundations! I actually have to use HTML, CSS and Javascript for work and I found that Weeks 1 and 2 were super helpful in getting across the fundamentals. Week 3 was putting everything into practice. Matt is super clear and really breaks down the principles in bite size chunks. I also really liked that I could do it at my own pace. Thanks SheCodes!

A really thorough and excellent course, which I highly recommend to anyone who is looking into taking up coding as a career, or even just as a hobby! There were some really great resources available throughout the duration of the course, and it was great to put everything into practice step by step.

Just finished SheCodes Basics and I'm super excited! It's way different from what I've experienced at university. Here, it's all about practical stuff rather than just theory. I learned more here than I did in three years at university! Matt makes even the complex things seem simple. Plus, the community is super supportive. I'm enrolling in the next SheCodes Plus workshop for sure. If you want to learn coding in a fun, hands-on way, you've gotta try SheCodes. It's a game changer.

Excellent workshop! I was very intimidated and kind of avoided this type of subject but my curiosity and the initial free workshop gave me the guts to go ahead. From the first day, I had enjoyed the content, the process, and the achievements. Yes cannot deny it, there are moments of frustration, once you get out of the challenge, the satisfaction is so big, it is all worth it! Thanks, Matt you make this course so easy and achievable. The SheCodes Basics Course was fantastic. I was impressed with the content delivery as well as communication with SheCodes staff. I had previously dabbled in HTML, however, this course was just what I needed to begin learning JavaScript, while extending my knowledge of CSS and HTML. The great thing about this course is that you don't need to have any prior knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript to do it. Thank you - I look forward to completing the other courses soon!

So pleased I stuck with this introductory course. I found the first-week challenging with a lot of new topics to grasp. Then it all fell into place! Now feel much more confident to make changes to my website & speak to my web designer.
SheCodes Basics was super easy to understand and complete, it makes coding look so fun. Every time i was confused or a code was not working as I expected I was able to get help from the slack group and find a solution really fast. I can't wait to keep learning more about coding!
Although it was a little trickier than I initially expected, I had lots of fun and learnt many new skills.
I never thought I would be interested in anything related to IT, it started as a challenge to expand my knowledge in different fields, but I've come to love it! I love that I can be creative but still challenge myself, my knowledge and my learning skills. SheCodes is amazing, Matt is an amazing teacher and every class is so fun! I have absolutely loved every step of the SheCodes Basics journey. The lessons are easy enough to follow but challenging enough to keep me interested. I'm a serial course-purchase-and-never-complete candidate, but the accountability factor as well as the ability to get live support and feedback pushed me to actually work through and complete this. An excellent introduction to the more complex world of coding (as compared to SheCodes Basic)! Toes the line between hand holding and letting you figure it out well.
This course was so fantastically taught and structured in a really logical way. It gives you all the building blocks to be able to go forward and make some really great projects. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to for their pathway into coding.
