The SheCodes workshop was both fun and mentally stimulating. Each lesson is broken up into bite-sized pieces which makes it easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Having had an interest in coding, I participated in SheCodes Express a few months ago and was inspired by Matt's way of breaking down previously foreign concepts into simple terms that I just had to try the Online workshop. I found this course incredibly useful in cementing what I already had a vague awareness for in coding. I am more confident now in terms of what I can achieve by myself!! It is definitely going to help push me forward in my career.
Shecodes has been so informative and easy to follow. The lessons are bitesize yet full of substance. With a very busy lifestyle, I was still able to fit the course into my life, even doing extra hours just getting lost in the possibilities of code. I definitely enjoyed this 3-week course. Its structured so that it is easy to follow and self-paced, the way that it is taught also makes it such a fun process. I found it very interesting and challenging and I learnt so much. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants an introduction to web development or even who just wants to try something new.
I learnt a little bit of code when a I was a teenager and this workshop help me to remember all of it. I really enjoyed the challenges and the opportunity to discover another career path. It was challenging in some areas but so satisficing when you make it work! Highly recommend!

I knew I was going to find the workshops interesting, I just didn't expect having so much fun!! The course is structured to learn step-by-step, and if you get stuck the support is 24/7. Bonus points: the SheCodes radio. Every song is the perfect company to code!

Very simple and effective workshop for complete beginners. Breakdown of the lessons for each week is apt. I've spent a couple of months searching for a coding workshop before coming across SheCodes. There was a 1 hour workshop offered by SheCodes for FREE which I signed up for and learnt soo much from π It was from there that I knew that SheCodes was the right workshop for me! The level of detail to the mini-challenges provided for each lesson makes sure you put into practice everything you are learning, and the Slack channel with such an active community is definitely an added bonus π€©

Great course to get a first introduction to coding. You learn quite a lot in a short amount of time. Because the course is split up in short lessons, it is very easy to follow.

I've always wanted to try my hand at coding but could never wrap my head around even knowing where to start. I wanted to further strengthen my coding skills for front-end development or interaction design outside of my university classes and I thought SheCodes would help. SheCodes helped me further understand some coding concepts I've struggled to understand before and I'm very glad that it did. I know that I still struggle with coding but I feel like if I practice more, I'd be more confident with coding and I can see that by completing the SheCodes workshop, my confidence level has definitely been boosted!
Knowing how to code has always been something I dreamed of. Every time I tried to learn by myself, I had this difficulty of not knowing where to start and how to keep myself motivated. I found that the SheCodes Workshops are well structured and engaging. You also know what is the next thing you can have to learn and have a peace of mind knowing that if you need help, there are people to whom you can reach out easily.
