This course was really fun, I really enjoyed learning how to build a webpage.
This was a nice and gentle start to my coding journey. Matt made it easy to follow along and it overall wasn't overwhelming.
This course was a great introduction to coding. The workshops were broken down into small sections that helped progress learning just a little bit further each time. The tasks were the perfect balance between achievable and challenging.
I really enjoyed the coding.
To add to my initial introductory course with SheCodes, I decided to take on an additional week through the SheCodes Basics Add-on course and loved every minute! It was definitely well worth the extra week and allowed me to expand my knowledge of additional features and capabilities of HTML,CSS and Javascript. Matt and the SheCodes team have done such a great job of structuring classes. I look forward to using my new knowledge to find ways of creating helpful tools for the future!
I really didn't think coding would be so much fun! Thank you for teaching me the basics and making the course easy to understand and to follow. See you in the advanced course. π
There were harder challenges throughout this course but everything was explained clearly and concisely.
This class has been so fun & engaging. The lectures are well structured & Matt explains the concepts and topics in a simple, yet informative way.

This was a great course. Coding was very new to me and the course went step by step through everything very clearly. The course started from the very basics and built up from there, not assuming any previous knowledge on the subject which was exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend the course.

I really enjoyed this basics coding course and had a lot of fun completing the lessons, homework and projects. The bite-sized lessons made it very easy to learn and the team was flexible with providing extensions when my day job got a bit busy. I am very proud of my final project and am considering continuing my coding journey with the SheCodes Plus course!

This course is excellent. The didactics are tremendous, and it becomes straightforward to learn. The experience was satisfying and excited me to continue my studies. Matt is a fantastic teacher; I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from him.
This was really fun! I liked that there were lots of examples of the code available so I could follow along and customise it where needed. The clock elements are quick complex but hopefully I will understand them better soon.
I would recommend this workshop to anyone who has finished the she codes course and is now ready for the job hunt. The workshop has valuable insights and will help you on the right path on how to go about searching.

I've really enjoyed all of the Shecodes workshops. I've learned a lot which I'm already using in my own business. I also have really appreciated having a bit of a deadline to get things completed by. Without that I may have not finished this final workshop, but the prompts kept reminding me to get back to it, and I got it done :)
Prior to completing the SheCodes basics course, my understanding of coding was zero. In a few short weeks I have begun to learn a completely new skill outside the realm of what I thought possible. It is an extremely user-friendly course and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges throughout that keep you engaged and on the right track.

Examples were super easy to follow and there were great resources for more information when I needed it. I'm super happy with what I have learnt so far and what I have been able to create in such a short period of time.

This has been such a great learning experience. I went from not knowing anything about coding, to producing my very own page. I wasn't sure I would enjoy this but I have had such a great time learning CSS, HTML and Javascript.

I only just took the dive into trying coding after thinking it was cool for ages, and I am loving it! I hope to move my career into web development and make coding my full-time career! SheCodes provided me this opportunity and honestly, without a program like this, I probably wouldn't have tried it or been as enthusiastic. Shecodes Basic course is a life-time access which is good for me when i need to brush up coding lauguage and practice more. it is really easy to understand when you start from zero. i would recommend this to whoever wants to have a motivation on learning coding language from the beginning, and customer service is very good. they will be right there when you need them. :)))
I really enjoyed this workshop, it give me a different perspective on coding I've never had before (and I've worked for over 8 years in the SaaS industry π¬ but in the Customer Success department). Also, I liked the way Matt explains, he makes it sound easy and because of that good explanation, it's easy to applicate what you learn.
The style of teaching is great where you learn the concepts, then put them to use in your own project - a good way to put what you've learnt to the test.
I stepped up one more level to reach my goal. I enjoyed and gained more knowledge with helping shecodes team. Happy coding!

I really enjoyed this course! It showed and helped me understand the mechanics of coding in a simple way that was fun. I had some moments where I was pulling my hair out but it made me realize I was actually resilient and liked trying to solve my wrong codes. Thanks SheCodes :)

SheCodes Next was extremely helpful in providing information on what to do after completing all of the previous SheCodes workshops. Matt provided great insights on how to improve your chances at landing a job in tech or any industry. These include updating LinkedIn profiles, resumes, networking and more. I enjoyed my time learning from Matt and the team at SheCodes, and highly recommend their workshops for those wanting to journey into web development or coding in general.
This is an excellent course for those who are beginners or those who wish to improve their coding skills! I signed up for SheCodes after loving a HTML + CSS and JavaScript class and wanted to further my understanding and skillset. Matt explains everything so well, he makes coding fun and gives you all the tools you need to further your learning.

SheCodes React was very challenging and also incredibly rewarding. I often found it hard to close my laptop once I stared working on my project, it was a little addictive! I am really happy with my accomplishments in this course.
It is exciting to see how much progress you achieve in only 2 workshops. Matt is an excellent teacher and the platform makes it easy to follow through at your own pace to be able to really understand concepts and techniques to apply on your homework and projects. Highly recommend SheCodes to any woman out there wanting to take on a new challenge or shift career paths.
The Plus Add-On was an exciting challenge. I loved seeing the 'live changes' with time zones and how we go through each step thoroughly. The step by step process is super helpful, especially when it involves JavaScript.

The React workshop was a lot of fun. I enjoyed being able to adapt my previously learned skills to a new language and was excited to discover how much easier React is to use when writing code.
It has been a great introductory course to coding, with great practical experience.
When I see my code working exactly the way I want, it's like pure magic πͺ . The feeling of accomplishment is amazing. I've learned to enjoy the challenges and the process of figuring things out.
I enjoyed learning more advanced react with the SheCodes React add-on. I now feel more familiar with React after completing the project for the add-on.
